Seems like at the end most of the movement is coming from the rack itself not the swing-out adapter. It's great that you shot that video perspective in action! Would be good to see how much the racks move without the swing-out for comparison. Nice review.
1upusa is here for $409 www.1up-usa.com/product/rakattach/. It is more compact. The Saris Swing Away looks to have more flexibility, safety latches and will fit more applications. For the rack itself, the 1UPUsa Equip-D looks like the winner over the MTR since it is all metal and will still keep on ticking 10 years later.
I have a Northshore rack, had an extention made, so I can drop tailgate and stand behind it. I put polygon on it and my levo and levo sl in back with topper on truck. That saris would be nice, its kind of a pain angling the other bikes to get out of truck with the Northshore 6 biker.

I bought the Yakima version then WELDED the rack to it! Super secure and removed 2' from the length!
Also the RockyMounts Backstage. 2 bike tray style with swing away INCLUDED. Rock solid and affordable.
$25k worth of bikes on a $5k truck.
Priorities are in order, sir. :)
Thanks for vid
California plates and he's Asian. Asking for a robbery, bro I would carry a gun if I were you. Stay safe brother!
Thanks for the thorough review! Pros and Cons vs. Saris and One Up?

I am thinking about this swing away. Thank u
Can you latch the swing away part with your tailgate down??
Does the arm sit close to your exhaust?
