THANKS A BUNCH, AMAZING VIDEO!!!
Thanks!
I have tried to use Gelato so many times and I always close my account within 1-2 days because their site is SOOOOO Buggy. Each time, I pray it's gotten better, but each time, there's another crazy bug that just ruins it. Arh! I love their prices and I love their shipping times, but I haven't been able to finally use it like I should. Wish they had a better interface and experience.
Great video! I wish you had mentioned the option to include shipping cost or anything related to shipping... still helpful! as I also noticed you had clicked the button for 'show in your store' which I realized I had not clicked on my first attempt to publish ; )
amazing vid!!! ty
Absolutely!
You’ve convinced me to give it a go
Amazing!
You are AWESOME!!! TY
You bet!

@@KerryEgeler thanks so much
How do I select/create multiple sizes for one product?
Appreciate this
Thanks so much!
Can you elaborate on how shipping is calculated and who pays it.
Damn. I stop stop watching your content. Loving every video!
Love it! Thanks for the comment!
TY!!! AWESOME
You bet!
What do you think about specialising in wall art and using Gelato, Printify and Printful to see who works best and then phase the other 1 or 2 out?
Awesome like this super idea I'm artist draw but this great thanks
you just convinced me on doing it
Great!
thank you
Tha k you help me a lot I want open my gelato and etsy shop with my wall art

How do I select a thumbnail that shows the whole poster print that I am wanting to sell? No matter which poster print template I use it always cuts it in half and makes my shop look messy
I didn't understand the part under sizes, there is shipping location. What if i want it worldwide? How can i do that
Great video. Thank you. I am missing the big picture. If I create a wordpress site to promote the wall art by linking to the specific gelato item listing.....do I even need a shopping cart? How does payment happen? Does Gelato take card of collecting from the customer (payment, taxes etc) and sending me a monthly payment?
Tack så mycket
The size template doesn't work for me. I readjust my art to fit into the template and it's still too big for Gelatos sizes. You'd think 8x12 frame and 8x12 image size would mean the same size, but all my art's always outside the boarders width (vertical is fine) and I really don't want to stretch it to fit inside Gelato. Can someone shed some light on this for me? I've tried so many methods now and I'm starting to think Gelato's boarders sizes are just simply wrong.
it would have been better if you showed from where to start. its after connecting to your store from the stores page you click on create product. otherwise it wouldnt show the check boxes to select multiple sizes. it took me time to figure this out unlike other platforms
If I create 18X18 in Canva can I give customers multiple options in teams of size or I have to stick to 18x18
You can but i believe you just have to create another variation
Where are they from 🤔 and how is shipping 🤔 also do they have different places around the world or country to make and ship your orders 🤔
They are based in Europe, yes partner companies around the world.
Hi! I’m new to Gelato. I just ordered some pieces for myself to review. I’m wondering if I need to resize the image for every option I want to sell or is there a way I can create a one size fit all image by just enlarging the image to 4K or 8K?
Excellent Questionove that as I have the same issue.
It is really difficult to know, but when I go into Shutterstock to look at their sizing charts they have 3 main ones there which are 500×334, 1000x667 and 6000x13.3 all at 300 DPI
Although many people buying their images may want to donsomething on Gelato with it, so this is a great question you bring to the table.
hey, how did you find the quality of this company
I've had a nightmare with low dpi and have some great pictures, tried all sorts to adjust, infuriating.
Hi Kerry,
Great video about Gelato and all the wall art options which exist with this Print on Demand company.
However, I have some big challenges - as I want to wall make paper - as I have a lot of graphic images that could be beautiful on a wall.
’
However, I struggle with the size of the images I have to upload to Gelato.
I see that they write 25 x 39 inches (these are huge pictures)
I usually make my images in 3600 x 3600 pixels and 300 dpi. - but that's obviously not good enough.
Does anyone have experience in wallpaper and what sizes I can make my pictures instead of the huge size - since I want to use my images which are 3600 x 3600 pixels - I can't really crack the code for what exactly to do here.
In photoshop change your image size from pixels to images then upload for example 25 x 39 inches
How to actually sell? I already know how to design but how to actually sell?
do you need to pay beforehand or only if someone buys it?
Only as orders come in
Super force clip
Was all good untill you said it goes to the shopify store.. i dont have shopify do you need one?
Gelato integrates with several ecommerce platforms, including Shopify, Etsy, Squarespace and WooCommerce, and through OrderDesk you can easily connect your stores to many more.
Hi i have my own website with digital files how to connect with gelato?
I would recommend this free online Masterclass: www.kerryegeler.com/shirtschool
This will get you coaching through an entire store launch, as well as integrating with Gelato!
There site never works right. I tried for days kept kicking me out. All they could say was send a general email with no help. Ridiculous
Wouldn't i need to make templates for every single size if i wanted to sell every single size?
No, not at all. You just select the product sizes when creating the product.
Should change photoshop from rgb to cmyk for print.
PODs require RGB for uploads.
So the Gelato template includes the bleed in the 18x18 not in addition to (18.25x18.25)?
Isn't bleed supposed to be filled with color? He said not to put anything in it. But I think it's the part that's printed on the edge in case of canvas.
@@anonymouse527 I just don't want them to stretch it to account for the bleed. It's not a huge deal, but I worked in a huge print factory for several years, so I worry about stuff like that. :P
Hi can I sell my photography pictures on the platform?
Of course!
Is it because you’re store is connected that’s why you can see mock-ups? I don’t have a store connected and I can only see order as if I’m the customer. I don’t ever access the mock-ups.
Anyone should be able to see the mock-ups. You might try a different browser. I always use Chrome
So why don't they just allow the people wanting the image to choose the sizes they want? Instead of making us go through the nightmare of sizing or even as far as chosing the product?
When we will receive our money it will be from Gelato to our account
Gelato is great, unfortunately the ship has already sailed with Etsy and other stores. Unless you are an existing seller with tons of sales and feedback, literally nobody will ever touch you with a bargepole
This is not true. Many students have recently started Etsy stores with much success! It’s a great opportunity!
@@KerryEgeler I started a store before Xmas. Listed very popular items, studied the SEO, undercut my competitors and provided really good pics and mock-ups. Basically followed all the best advice, yet I’ve had about 10 views and no sales. Please explain
@@alanhaynes9672 You need to market your store. You can't fully rely on SEO because you need to do ads as well with conbination of social media like facebook page, instagram and pinterest.
Thank you, really helped me!
