Musically speaking, the band of Dave, Stephen and Eric are perfect. And to be honest, if I had gone to see Jane's on this tour before it imploded, i would NOT have gone for Perry AT ALL. I would've gone strictly for the music and band. It's the only band I can say that about.
When it comes down to it, Perry is a consummate professional. I suspect the alcohol interacted with either some edibles or shrooms in a way he didn't anticipate. This probably won't happen again any time soon.
