these guys have no right reviewing these cars. they should stick to reviewing Sorentos or whatever. and just look at how terribly they launch and shift, they can never get it right. my teenage daughters shift better! 5.7 seconds in this car? a new brz can do that or lower!
This is honestly the problem with new "performance daily's" They are far too expensive for what we are getting now ( Take GOLF R as example. Its nearly 100k FOR A FUCKING GOLF! ) $80k for a NISSAN Z! I have original window sticker for my Mk6 GTI it was $47,000 Loaded! I dont see how these cars are nearly $40,000 more worth
Such a confusing car. Looks like a sports car, handles like a grand tourer....but you couldn't grand tour in it because of the noise and lack of cargo space. What's it actually for (apart from looking good from behind, obviously)?
Yeah, I agree with your sentiments. It seems like the car’s in some sort of an identity crisis. I was really hoping for the car to handle really well, but it just pales in comparison to competition in regards to that factor, especially when the LSD option is only available in the higher end performance trim. Seems like the best thing it can do stock is going fast in straight lines, or just cruising. It’s a shame really, because I really wanted to like this car especially based on how good it looks.
@@THEAC83 There are a couple of dealer demos around and some jacked up private sellers. I am just about to get my new Mustang GT (manual) after a 14 month wait, so I have become patient!
@@THEAC83 In case you also want one, I have been to Nissan. There are a few that have been ordered and then not taken which are available quite soon, otherwise its around 6 months.
To answer your question.... As far as the Mustang GT 5.0L Naturally Aspirated V8 goes vs the Z, the 2023 Nissan Z literally NEARLY keeps up with it front bumper to front bumper. There is a specific video here on YT of the 2 completely stock racing each other in a straight line (Both Automatic), & they end up equal. Demonstrative example that just because something is a V6 vs a V8, doesn't necessarily entail that the V6 will lose. That's not true at all. There are very beastly V6 engines out there. Nevwr underestimate a V6 JUST because it is a V6. You just might regret it Lol 👇 ruclips.net/video/ZWpvAi_vNc8/видео.html
@@mattyoz0 Well, actually. I re-read my comment, & I realized what I MEANT to type, I didn't, but there was supposed to be a "Nearly" before "front bumper to front bumper". I'll fix that to avoid misleading readers,..... but the POINT obviously was the answer to his question. No, it doesn't win, but the Z was so ridiculously riding the mustangs arse, that for a V6 3.0L vs a V8 5.0L, it's pretty dang fast. There is also a race between the Z, Supra GR 3.0 & a Mustang Mach 1 as well. The Supra GR & Mustang Mach 1 was EXACTLY equal, & the Z did fall behind more than the Mustang Mach 1 than the GT 5.0 in the linked video, but still not by a Longshot, & the fact that it can do that AT ALL speaks a lot for the power of the Z in stock.... Let's just say this. If you had a Z & your buddy had a Mustang GT, & you race each other on the highway, your buddy won't be leaving you in the dust. You'll keep up pretty easily.... So, the question has been answered. You're welcome BTW 👍
Cut costs? Why invent the wheel, Nissan thought what's good from the last model, let's keep it. The important of this model is retro, last call Z before electric/hybrids fully take over the industry. Supra is cartoonish, BMW interior is more cramped. If Nissan ever gets their act together and produce them, it will be a home run.
How is making the door handles look like the 350Z "cost cutting" If they're not the same door handles? That was kind of the point. They took aspects of all generations of the Z car. So, are the tail lights looking like the 90's 300Z, or the headlight looking like the original 240Z, is that 'cost cutting' as well?
Can’t wait to watch the review! My mate’s brother had a deposit on one of these and Nissan kept calling him with delays so he cancelled his order and ordered an Audi RSQ3 Sportback instead. He made a good choice! Haha
It Costs way to much money for that Little Bit of Torque it has.. No Way They blew it.. And I know people are going to Dyno them up to the Where the Number's should be, Like 450WT 500 WHP!
