Hey Jeff.
I am really struggling with leak searches. I see you doing them in your videos, and you seem to always have success.
I have a field piece Heated Diode digital leak detector. Mine seems to go off randomly no matter how slow I move, and I am constantly frustrated with leak searches.
I am willing to invest in a really good leak detector, but I don’t want to buy something that has the same problem.
Would you recommend a certain one?
I am looking at the D-Tek Stratus now.
I need something that isn’t going to go off when I breath on it

The D-Tek stratus has been great for me. But it does take some getting used to. HVAC GUY has a really good video on it. He actually ran into the Inficon guy at a supply house and has a whole video tutorial on it. But with any leak search, it does take patience.
