Completing these with a DualSense (sticks) is possible, but it took me 3-ish hours to gold them as my driving style is a bit too point-and-shoot for most of these tests. I find with a DualSense throttle control is relatively easy, but performing consecutive chicanes and trail braking is a bit difficult at times. Usually I brake before turning, rather than braking and turning at the same time to reach apexes more effectively - it often *feels* like a car understeers excessively when it's actually an input error resulting in reduced front end grip. For DualSense users, try to manage your throttle application while referencing the change in vibration as tires approach their limit of grip. On a side note I didn't think to use the Overtake function for S-9, but was able to achieve gold after a good 20 or so tries, lol! 😅
I'm confused by some of the 'this is possible with a dualsense' comments, literally everything in the game is possible to complete using a dualsense controller. Is vibration actually useful to have on with this game? I have it turned off and have no issues personally
The statement "this is possible..." is merely encouragement (for stick users) - it's not any deeper than that. Also I find having vibration helpful when driving on low(er) grip tires, as there's a lot of information that you can read through the controller with it enabled.
@@denshidirect3182 I've just been seeing it a lot lately suggesting some people must feel parts of the game are not possible without a wheel. Interesting on the vibration I'm curious to turn it on and give that a go

the civic type R has so much understeer because it FWD. Not only does the front two tires have to take car of turning but it also has to deal with accelerating or braking. With RWD the front two tires can focus on turning only on exit and the rear can accelerate, it also allows for oversteer on power instead of understeer.
The thing with S-3 is that the wheels were too thin to compensate for weight distribution, so if and when the driver would try to take a good turn at a considerably quick speed, or go over a bump while trying to turn, the chance of a rollover would just skyrocket LOL
Thank you for explaining all the necessary details! I really learnt from you a lot! I would like to know if you make any adjustment to tcs or brakes etc. Thanks a lot, I enjoy learning from you! Jürgen
The F1 car isn't like the GT One from the last licence test in GT3 is it? Where the moment you hit the gas you immediately lose control and back of your car becomes the front of your car and vice versa?
Love your videos and content. I've seen you have been using mostly, if not always, the mclaren wheel for GT7, and I was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing your button mapping and setup for it?
For anyone struggling with the last test on controller, map x and square buttons to MFD adjustment up and down and have the MFD set to TC. When exiting a turn that follows a little bit of a straight or a longer straight drop TC 1 to 0 as you have the car pointing straightish and this will be faster than TC1, even if its a bit awkward and you find yourself sliding a little. And when you're approaching a corner toggle TC 0 back to 1 to see you through the corner and so on. Turns to toggle TC 1 to 0 are: 2, 7, 9, 11, 14 and 17. Also when starting the lap, have TC 0 at turn 17 and try aiming to cross the start line at 154mph when starting the lap. This isn't an easy test for controller users but it is possible. Good luck! 👍
The rallycross test was frustrating for the most random reason. No matter what I tried, I could barely get within the bronze time, let alone the gold. After about 30 attempts, I gave up, looked up some demos on RUclips, and instantly noticed they’d all set the car’s traction control to 0. I followed suit, and got gold within 5 attempts. 😂 Edit: I take it back. S-10 nearly killed me. I struggled with the Valkyrie for 20 mins before getting gold. Now watching this video, I notice that I completely forgot about the Overtake button :):):):):)

The rally one and road Atlanta really put me through my paces
the civic even understeers on the straights
dude that s-5 rally run was beautiful
If I remember correctly, Prost was Senna's teammate and rival when he was driving the f1 you drove in s-10, before Senna raced alongside Damon Hill.
10:40 "If find that if you're blind ... well you can't see." You should be a poet or one of those puts-cool-words-together people.
Yea doing this now the times are harder and the WRs are slower compared to when this video released. Master Super License has gotten a lot harder

SuperGT actively encouraging me to do the druks
The thing with S-3 is that the wheels were too thin to compensate for weight distribution, so if and when the driver would try to take a good turn at a considerably quick speed, or go over a bump while trying to turn, the chance of a rollover would just skyrocket LOL
I saw your CeraVe advert mate. Nice one. Good luck next Sunday.
Even though its late, this guide helped me so much. Ty for the awesome video + guide as always
hey man i had surgery on my knee today and saw this and brightened up my day so thanks dude 😊
Glorious work 👏
Like deployed 👍

[ 24:26 ] 🤯🤯 Is that a Logan Sargent reference??!! 🤯🤯
Thank you for explaining all the necessary details! I really learnt from you a lot! I would like to know if you make any adjustment to tcs or brakes etc. Thanks a lot, I enjoy learning from you! Jürgen
Me with my A license with all bronze: yeah he missed the apex 🧐
The F1 car isn't like the GT One from the last licence test in GT3 is it? Where the moment you hit the gas you immediately lose control and back of your car becomes the front of your car and vice versa?
No that car would be considered a group1 car
Not exactly. If you floor it that'll happen though!
Love your videos and content. I've seen you have been using mostly, if not always, the mclaren wheel for GT7, and I was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing your button mapping and setup for it?
You make these look so dang easy 😅
Also side note: anyone else only ever get the lowest tier item off their roulette tickets? 😂
Yeah it's super scummy
Yea them shits are hella rigged
He really knows how to take these little/big mistakes and learns! 😂 bravo brother! repetition is the mother of skill…
Beautiful srift 4:21
You gigachad your content is great and comes often
As of the latest physics update, you'll need to adjust the braking timings and steering to do the license tests.
Great channel. Still laugh when you done the 24hrs at the Nurburgring and had a rest and moved the cursor to restart😂
The demonstration ghost on S-5 gets the wide line almost perfectly, it's insane. The rest of the demo ghost isn't too hard to copy.
Turns to toggle TC 1 to 0 are:
2, 7, 9, 11, 14 and 17. Also when starting the lap, have TC 0 at turn 17 and try aiming to cross the start line at 154mph when starting the lap. This isn't an easy test for controller users but it is possible. Good luck! 👍
Mann thanks to you I've completed and got gold in everything
Love your content ❤
i don't know how this man is so good keep up the good work
Great content. Excellent job, my friend.
Edit: I take it back. S-10 nearly killed me. I must’ve been pushing thousands of attempts before I finally beat the gold time by just over 0.1 seconds.
Thought i was watching max for a minute on that valkyrie gold run . Nice work
It's crazy how much better this game looks compared to Forza. Might have to get a Playstation...
Thanks for this man mangaged to get gold in the final challenge at suzuka using this video✌️🙂
I struggled with the Valkyrie for 20 mins before getting gold. Now watching this video, I notice that I completely forgot about the Overtake button :):):):):)
OOF! Lugging that battery around for nothing!
I didn’t know that until right now. Definitely wasted more than 20 minutes.
every time steve says shadow i keep expecting him to say realm afterwards
2 -3 licenses are a big challenging with the control pad but overall not that complicated to get gold everywhere.
I remember some gold licenses in GT1 were ''almost impossible''...had to spend days with friends to get them.
Seems like the MASTER LICENSE tests in GT7 really test your nerves like in GRAN TURISMO 3.
10:35 this man is so blunt it kills me
