I always wondered why Steve said "we" when talking about his performance throughout videos, but now I get it. It's him and the car, a beautiful bond that requires a warrior's resolve to truly comprehend.
Always calm and composed, unbelievably well spoken, tastefully subtle British accent, and an incredibly smooth natural tonality of voice complimented by a great recording / microphone is a legit perfect combination
As a former Trackmania pro, back in the day, we affectionately nicknamed chasing records for hours on end as, "n0life". The grind is real. Well done, Steve!
Love this. As someone trying to learn a skill entirely unreleated to GT, it's just a cool reminder to hear someone as good as you as what you remind me that no-one gets to where they want without putting in the work. Whether that's the lowest lap time or making a great crepe. XD
I wanted to thank you Steve! Your videos have been one of the biggest factor to get me try online side of gt7 and online racing altogether. It has been fun thank you 🙏
Steve you're not likely to see this but you deserve every ounce of success you're seeing right now. You got me through a very very hard time mentally in 2020 that watching your videos was one of the few things that even made me feel whole. We love you bro 🙏
It’s really great to see you both enjoy the game more and race towards your full potential. Iv always used you and slayers as a realistic benchmark of where I want to get my own pace to but selfishly as a competitor if you keep going how you are I fear that will be out of reach lol but as a viewer and supporter I think it’s great to watch where your upper limit is. GG 🍻
Loving the longer videos! The commentary paired with the great racing is what I love. Ever since I’ve started watching I have gained so much racing knowledge and grown to love racing even more than I did before.
This is what I used to do on GTS when they were genuine “Daily” races. I’d spend 30 mins TT’ing and posting quick, consistent times, get myself in the top 100, and simply start on pole, and drive away. That’s how I earnt a lot wins. And when I had someone that was just as fast as me, I could race door to door with them with no issue, as I had the track knowledge.
Yeah same - I only ever got to B S rating, but even at the lower levels it's amazing how it all sort of "comes together" when you really start putting the time into improving your qualifying time for any given race. I used to surprise myself by like... becoming somewhat competent at tracks I used to consider some of my worst/hardest. My times improved, my results improved, i felt more confident and in control during the races and I felt like I was learning from my mistakes more than before... and all that stemmed purely from putting in hours running laps over and over again until it was burned into my brain
Yup. I remember in GTSport, your ability became godly as soon as you switched to a wheel. And now, GT7 benefits wheel users, especially after the phyisics update. You are a god.
I've seen you on the leaderboards, Steve, and I can confirm you are definitely getting faster. That muscle memory is really kicking in. The frequency of your contnent has also picked up some serious pace!
Hey I think you are amazing how you improve yourself every time on the track and you certainly are getting better every time you’re on the track and your videos are so interesting to watch.keep up the good work.
this man is special guys. he's a rare breed of youtuber, great content, amazing racer. He's fast, but he can also make you sleep! While engines roar and thunder, his voice carries you through sweet slumber. Love your videos Steve
currently writing my finals for law school, whenever i’m feeling stressed i’ll put one of your vids on, instantly relaxes me! loving the frequency and quality of the uploads, always look forward to your vids, big love supergt!
15:31 Am still a beginner at GT7 but I love your channel. It's so great to watch you and reflect on your advices. Thank you Super GT your outros are a bit abrut sometimes though 😭
Hey Super GT! I have to say in this video, going back and recording multiple viewpoints like the replay views, the opponent point of views and your own replay view. AND editing it in such a way to make the viewer fully aware, VISUALLY of what you are commenting about is a LOT of work. You sir are the best GT7 RUclipsr and an Inspiration of how to edit videos at least in my view!!!
I am no where near your level and it’s taken me ages to get used to the new mechanics and the cars spinning out all the time… but your videos have helped me get so much quicker… hitting 1:28’s low on this track constantly now…. 🎉🎉🎉🎉 cheers SGT
I would like to thank you steve. For 3 years I have had big goal. Get to A+. Stared from C. Now thanks to many of your videos which have helped me, motivated and got me back to racing im A+ now. Big thanks mate
Love to see the reaction camera back! Great job. Only recommendation that I have I that you should put a jumpscare at the end of the video, just to wake up the ones who have fallen asleep!
Good shit, Steve. Second race especially was a clinic, didn’t blink too soon and follow the early box, just drove your own race and trusted your call. GG’s
My strategy was start on softs due to me getting pole position with a lap time of 1:26,9 drive with softs till lap 7 then switch and hold on to the lead. I mostly had like 2 secs of a gap from the 2nd place and I got my self a lot of wins🎉
New to GT7, and more people need to watch SuperGT, as I’ve been rear ended by so many mfers that don’t understand you need to brake to turn and not use my car as your brakes 😂
Been getting into this game more and more because of this channel and I love watching these videos ! It definitely provides more inspiration to play the game and get better.
I think it's very similar to when you raced a formula 1 driver in karting. Difference is likely in where you brake before a corner...especially a tighter corner. I remember that graph that showed how great the timing of formula 1 drivers is...in regard to knowing exactly when to brake hard going into a corner.
Well done! Edit: I follow your channel for years now, being not part of the GT online society anymore since I moved to Malaysia, didn’t renew my PSN membership and left my gear in Europe. But still try to beat up time’s on GT sport mode, Btw just had a lovely weekend in Sepang and drove for the first time a 10hp kart on that track there in 40’C. Take care!
I gotta say I'm really enjoying these more serious videos where you show your technique, braking points, strategies, and methodology. I always learn something helpful which I need to work on myself. I went from normally being 2.5-4 seconds off the top guys to 1.5-2 seconds off pace after watching your videos over the years. You're a gentleman and a scholar
I've never had such a good sleep schedule, thanks Steve! (Btw it isn't just you, I absolutely fell asleep watching the Nur 24hr on Sunday Morning, I think racing in general is very calming)
I got to 21 minutes into the video and only then realised I hadnt paid attention to one single thing, but it was too late to turn back. So thanks for a thrilling 5 minutes of racing
Regarding strategy - there would be an optimal F1 strategy after 600 races in exactly the same conditions and all that info being fed back. So i think it’s bang on that there is one strategy to keep the time loss as minimal as possible.
Your videos are always very well thought through and provide a lot of useful information. At least there is a little strategy in this race, unlike the boringly monotonous choice of OP cars we seem to be stuck with.
Definitely seeing more and more daily uploads Steve. Keep up the good work! These videos are very enjoyable to watch and make me want to buy the game, still playing GT Sport.
I get that this is ur job mate but after playing ACC this game left me with no idea that was never feeling the car wit my dd1 so well done can’t wait to see u on ACC good 👍
RedBull Ring is magic. always when this track comes up with gr.3 cars in daily races most of the times finish 1st. from Rank D to B in no time. only on this track.
I think people get a bit sniffy about practicing - being fairly average, I find I have the best weeks spending Monday qualifying, Tuesday working on consistency, then racing maybe at the end of Tuesday's session to see how the land lies.
Less fuel means more speed and less tyrewear. So if there is no refueling, usually it should be faster to start on medium and end on soft. That is why longer races are more interesting, 15 minutes isnt long enough of a time.
Absolutely loved the Green hell time trial vid & thought it was 1 of your best in a while & then you knock this out! Back to Back absolute bangers that were not only helpful with your commentary & lines but the driving overall as well was top draw! Great watching your improvement!💥🤌🤘
I think we should start converting all chuck norris jokes to Steve jokes. When Alexander Graham Bell invented the phone, he had two missed calls from Steve. Steve does not do a push up, he pushes the earth down. When shod said, “Let ther be light.” Steve said “Say please”.
I feel like I’m getting better too but sometimes I feel like I’m over cautious and maybe naive in giving people too much space instead of fighting for corners harder
Definitely driving more like a “racer” now than a “gamer”. Time trialling will help improve the times. It’s just a grind 😂 but now it’s possible to have two ghosts. Makes it a little more exciting. You can win using softs first but have to go very long and make the stop around lap 10 or 11. Good results nonetheless and like always entertaining. It’s the edits that make you the best mate. 👍🏼👍🏼
You're getting quicker? You are already pretty fast. If I was as fast as you I'd think I was at my peak. I'm slowly improving though, actually racing seems to help, I'm learning a lot racing higher level racers in the racing league I race with.
I’m terrible at qualifying best I could manage is 1:28.1 but once the race starts I can get very close to my qualifying times. The car with no tire wear just feels odd to me
Steve, I got one question carrying around since a while... I'm just a talentfree GT7 driver, hanging around in B and C Lobbys most of the time... I know how to drive very well, driving with respect and as fast as I can. I'm using a in the meantime well aged thrustmaster T150 wheel and pedals and what I notice, in the neutral, the car always goes a little bit left or right and I need to correct that all the time. Do you think, I would improve my laptimes with a new set of wheel and pedals? I think about a fanatec since a year but I dont want to spend money for things I already own, if its not really making any difference...
Time for my evening nap
I also fall asleep to this guy. It's great.
@RICCENE ENTERTAINMENT back to sleep you go lol
Imma go to sleep now💤😴
Hope to race supergt in my dreams
Lol
The only thing better than Steve’s race pace is the production quality. It’s genuinely through the roof!
Absolutely living for the frequency and quality of uploads. It's a lot of work, but it's all very much appreciated and beloved!! Thanks man!
Thank you viewer!
@@Super_GTyou are so good at making people sleep
Exactly... Daily quality uploads 🤌🤌
Your video is so soothing you've treated my sleeping problem for months now thank you SuperGT.
sama la…cara penyampaian dia pon buat org mengantuk dah🤣
Only Steve can go back into his prime 🐐
Uncle Nando might have a thing or two to say about that
@@Jejking yeah he never left his prime in the first place lol.
@@ThatOneGuy5540 The one thing that does change alot is the quality of his cars
I always wondered why Steve said "we" when talking about his performance throughout videos, but now I get it. It's him and the car, a beautiful bond that requires a warrior's resolve to truly comprehend.
The output of this man is amazing
THATS what she said.
“I need to break this guy.” - psychologically 😂😂
Great races, was fun to watch
I love the in depth commentary. Combined with the engine sounds, these videos are more soothing than any ASMR session.
A lot of the viewers, myself included, put the video on in the background as we try to fall asleep haha
Always calm and composed, unbelievably well spoken, tastefully subtle British accent, and an incredibly smooth natural tonality of voice complimented by a great recording / microphone is a legit perfect combination
Loved the camera angles from the other drivers during the box. Great stuff SuperGt!
As a former Trackmania pro, back in the day, we affectionately nicknamed chasing records for hours on end as, "n0life". The grind is real. Well done, Steve!
16:27 this little footage of the battle and strategy is pretty cool and much appreciated
For sure. Noticed auto gears for the German - seems fast in this car for some reason in Turn 2 and the hairpin
Love this. As someone trying to learn a skill entirely unreleated to GT, it's just a cool reminder to hear someone as good as you as what you remind me that no-one gets to where they want without putting in the work. Whether that's the lowest lap time or making a great crepe. XD
Yes Steve, absolutely love watching your passion pay off!! Keep climbing my man I'm rootin for ya 💪

Some quality content these days, great to see

Great racing...even crazier was the fact that the last race both the spanish and german driver were on AT transmission instead of MT transmission :O
Really like this editing style. Good use of the replay in 3rd person, and that moment of tension with the pitstop. Keep it up!

Which is why I'm so good at [EAT HAMBURGER].
Good to see more regular GT7 content from you these days 👍🏻 Hope they add split times on replays at some point, would really help with the edits.

Its great to see Rory A. in more of your races. Both of you got me into sim racing so it awesome to see you two racing together.
been watching you race for a while now, great commentary as always and it’s just relaxing to watch you, appreciate the content!
Steve should make a shirt that has the scraped word BARRIER in each side of the sleeves. That would probably sell.
I loved race 2 because their was almost no skips, we need more full races
The camera angles of the podium was really good to see, a peak moment of the video i think.
Adding the 3rd person roaming cameras into your videos is a nice touch👌

epic drive, mate. love seeing the learning process and love seeing you bring home the Ws. keep it up!
Steve’s voice is so soothing, but his content so energising what do I do help
Glad you mentioned the physics. You do look marginally better on these physics. You seemed to have mastered it. Great video again mate.
Definitely seeing more and more daily uploads Steve. Keep up the good work! These videos are very enjoyable to watch and make me want to buy the game, still playing GT Sport.
I think turning in earlier during T3 under braking will wear out the front left faster so even though it is a faster line, it does have its downsides
Amazing work. I really appreciate the detailed explanation of strategy
Fantastic racing and quality editing job. Thanks Steve!
It makes sense that the strategy would narrow - in a video game, you get so many chances to get it right over the course of a week.
Hey Super GT, loving the content. I'm just wondering do you commentate over the edited video? or do you commentate over the raw footage first?
Get in there Super GT! 😅 WoW the improvement in your racing is excellent! Been a fan since the controller 😎💯
Your voice is really relaxing
Am i the only one that doesn’t fall asleep when watching supergt?
9:44 Not the wrong strategy, I would also use softs starting at the front of the grid. It was the penalty that costed you time
Just fired up AC for the first time in years after watching a few of your recent vids. Great racing!

Yo Steve, Viewer here. GG on the newly added spark on energy and improved edting = Legend ;)
Great to see you improving so mightily
Discovering that I’m not the only one who falls asleep to these videos is hilarious. I also watch them too Steve dw!
awesome race, keep it up.

12:33 I would say it's not entirely gt7s fault, as they say, "given the opportunity, gamers will optimize the fun out of a game".
Genuinely wish 3 things on this game. A true field of view setting, leader board in vr and a tyre temperature guage degrees/Fahrenheit.
You're getting quicker? You are already pretty fast. If I was as fast as you I'd think I was at my peak. I'm slowly improving though, actually racing seems to help, I'm learning a lot racing higher level racers in the racing league I race with.
i've been playing with the f1 cars so much that this looks like it's in slow motion haha
Yay Steve! We in Oregon are proud of your recent non 6th places!
I’m terrible at qualifying best I could manage is 1:28.1 but once the race starts I can get very close to my qualifying times. The car with no tire wear just feels odd to me
There should be shorter pit stops to allow for 2 vs 1 pit stop strategies. GT Sport used to do this. A lot more strategy involved.
Voice too relaxing I was struggling to stay awake and enjoy the amazing battle great race and great vid 🐐🐐
Good to see you grinding!
I'm convinced control pad users have the advantage through the tighter corners
This is the only channel im willing to support with my hard earned money, exquisite stuff.
Enjoyed that!!! Great video and racing. Learning a lot.
