Dave Chapelle can never be cancelled. He might not get invited on certain mainstream channels, but his fanbase is too big and loyal to cancel him and I include myself among them. Everything he’s said about Gaza and Israel was spot on and he’s one of the few people who can get away with saying it.
Chapelle is already a legend. He will be remembered as one of the best comedians in history. I feel bad for comedians these days. You can’t say anything without someone crying. You can’t enjoy comedy if you’re all fluffy. Shame on SNL, they invited him. I don’t hear an apology from them. Nobody is canceling them. They know exactly who he is. C’mon, If you don’t like it, don’t watch it.
COMEDY should be immune from racism, sexism, homosexuality, disabilities and most everything else. COMEDY is a performance art. If you are looking at a painting that you do not like -do you destroy it? If a Mime on the street annoys you, do you kill the artist? People need to be way more open to other peoples perceptions and not be judges of art. It was said once (well a lot of times...) If you can't take the heat, get out the kitchen!

Freedom of speech is a fallacy. Just look at whats been happening to anyone that shows even an ounce of sympathy or empathy for the Palestinians without even criticising Israel.
