I was at my 82 year old mum's house when the phone rang. She listened briefly, screamed with laughter and then slammed the phone down. I asked her who it was. "Scammers", she replied. Bit by bit, the word is getting out. The times, they are a changing . . .
My coworkers mother committed suicide after she lost her money to a scammer who pretended to be in an relationship with her, it was devastating. Thank you for all you do, you really are making a difference.
My wife just happens to be my carer as I've been battling cancer for a long time now so she has lots of time to spare. With that being said she gets at least 8 or 9 calls a week from these scammers so in her down time it's one of her favourite hobbies to answer these calls and screw around with them. She says that the longer she can keep that scammer talking to her it takes that person's time ahd attention away from a vulnerable victim. If she can keep each scammer engaged for 10 minutes she's possibly saved around 8 or 9 victims a week 🤔. I'm so proud of my wife and her empathy towards the vulnerable, i love her so much.
It’s the USA, the UK and Australia they target most of the time. I get these calls all the time. I work in IT but as a female they automatically think I’m computer illiterate so I can play them like a fiddle 😂. And also this sounds terrible but Australia & particularly Melbourne has a high Indian population so I know how to read them. In saying that I do work other a lot of amazing Indians so we should tar everyone with the same brush. Just like aussies don’t say shrimp on the barbie or G’day to everyone we meet.
My mum is 70. She has never lost any money to a scammer. She baits them with innocence and fear and then calmly says, just hold the line a second, I'm on a conference call with the Australian Federal Police! Cracks me up! Good work guys!
There's a video here on You Tube where a scammer who pretends to be from the IRS calls a sheriff at work and threatens to have her arrested. It's hilarious.
My mom is 83 years old, and she knows to ALWAYS call me whenever anything like this comes up on her phone or computer. I've drummed it into her head that no company or government agency would EVER call her. She's watched me mess with these idiots, and we always have a good laugh. :D Keep up the great work guys!
@@emmaphilpott Lol I received some calls (from collection department I think) for one of the companies I managed...they asked if we can make a payment plan...also, they will call to confirm the bank info so that they can make sure to deposit some refunds or credits to the right account but they will tell you the bank info and all you need to say is yes or no...you don't have to provide anything...they will also call in case they want to audit something but usually you will receive a mail in advance...so what I'm trying to say is that government do call people but they don't need people to provide any information during the call
A couple weeks ago my wife got a call and I kept hearing her say "No, I'm not authorizing the charge". I asked who it was and she said "Amazon, and someone was trying to charge her account for an i-phone". I got closer and I could hear the "Amazon representative" speaking in an Indian accent. Oh boy! I told my wife it's a scam, hang up. She didnt' hang up. I said, they are going to want you to go to your computer and log into something...don't do it. Next thing you know, they wanted her to go to her computer. I told her to "hang up and call Amazon service yourself". She finally hung up, called Amazon and found no such pending charge. I just want to say THANK YOU for these videos as they've taught me enough on how these scammers work to sniff this one out right away. I'm just happy I was nearby when it happened or else I'd have a different ending to this story.
Since I found Jim and others, I've started answering scam calls just to waste their time. Because I know it costs them money and while they're on the phone with me, they aren't harassing some elderly person. You aren't alone. We are here and we are trying. I direct everyone I can to channels like this. I know it's a drop in a bucket, but if you get enough drops you can fill an ocean.
My people, Cherokee have a saying, each person is a drop of water that go to make rivers, lakes and oceans. We gang up and stop this mess. It breaks my heart to see good people robbed of life savings, we are all trying to survive. I hate thieves of any sort
It costs them a lot, and it is a good step forward, you must write a paper with scamming call details, how is it done, and send it to your neighbors and tell them to pass it on. Also, share these videos with them.
Thank you. Ive fallen victim to guys like this a couple times. I am a mentally disabled vet with little to no support structure so sometimes its really easy to be desperate and gullible. Thank you and to anyone like you who fight these scumbags who prey on people who have a hard time telling friend from foe
Make sure to change your phone number and email. If you haven’t already. As your old number and email likely are being spread around by scammers. The scammers often sell lists of information of people they managed to scam to other scammers. And those lists are often used to target people with other scams. Stay safe out there
My father lost $400K to scammers. In one scam, he had high end purses, shoes, and cash sent to a convention center in TX. I contacted the convention center who refused to investigate and then called the local police who said they didnt have any manpower to put on this. No one wants to help, glad you are out there trying to educate people.
That's rough.. my parents were scammed outta 3k It's a shame these people do this. This is why Yeshua Ha'Mashiach is needed. And why the saying "no rest for the wicked" exists
It would not at all surprise me if the companies backing these scammers don't eventually send well armed goon squads to take these guy's out permanently.
Thank you for the things you do to protect us. I am a 72 year old man with no computer skills and knowing that someone with skills is fighting for me and my wife is very comforting. I have been scammed and it happened just like you said, cost me 500.00 to unlock my computer. To see that person in front of the cop covered with glitter was worth a lot of satisfaction for us. Thank you again!
Totally! I'm a 73 year old widow, who was SCAMMED twice in four days. They took $500.** from my credit card. But thankfully my son came from another state to help save my bank account. They were so patient & sounded so sincere. It is sickening how those people take & take & take. Personally I'd love for them to be arrested & prosecuted for each & every Scam they have pulled. Not that a roof over their heads, food in their bellies, & healthcare are actually that bad for them. They must have no remorse for the pain & suffering that they cause.
The law will stop this task force for real because of "legal limitations". It's just sad that what Jim Browning is doing is illegal (as well as the glitter bombs that Mark Rober created). Not to mention that the suspects are outside of US jurisdiction.
@kenshi jin no, it is worse. This person is most likely a lawyer. They are trained to lie. Hence why politicians get away with stealing BILLIONS if not TRILLIONS of dollars, and no glitterbombs over there, ey? Aren't we all happy that it is the system we live in that causes people to act like they do?
The could really tap into his passion so he would probably work for cheap in comparison to what they're used to paying out. It's kind of a golden opportunity
This is the first glitterbomb video I’ve watched. You are such a kind soul what you, the team and all the others do to help prevent these horrible lazy, greedy people from swindling others is AMAZING!!
I know innocent elderly people who have been scammed!! And as a police officer, I take reports for this all the time. And it’s frustrating, because it’s so hard to track the “main guy”! I honestly think y’all deserve a reward!! You guys are doing gods work! Y’all should be proud of yourselves!!
My bro's a p.o. also and he said the same thing. Sadly, my dad (he's 82) just got hit, luckily they didn't get any $$, but we had to do a lot of account changes and whatnot. Thanks for your service!! 👮♀️
Actually watched the video from Rober on her and they show her face and the policeman asks her where did the glitter come from and she says I don't know as she tries to wipe it off her pants. Part of his Glitter Box 4.0 video.
When my husband died, I was inundated with calls. Everything from computer scams to psychics telling me they had a message from my husband. These predators comb the obituaries for marks. I think the only person beneath these people would be a paedophile.
In 2012 I was working in a Walgreens. We had an older gentleman who kept coming in buying gift cards. Shortly there after we got the policy come down that we had to start asking questions when large amounts of gift cards were purchased by a single customer. So when he came in, I asked him why he was buying these cards. He told me that the FBI was demanding payment out of him and that they'd contacted him by phone. I was the one who had to tell him that he was being robbed. He looked so defeated. It disgusts me that almost a decade later, not only is this crap still happening, but it seems like it's a growth industry. The government needs to wake up. These criminal networks need to get shut down. EDIT: I just want to make it clear, from what I gathered out of what he eventually told me, it had seemed like they were running a different scam on him, but he was refusing to pay believing it to be a scam. So they were pretending to be the FBI to put pressure on him.
As if you'd be stupid enough to believe a government law enforcement agency needs payment from you via gift cards. That was natural selection at work. Still terrible it had to happen to someone though
Yep, the States and Feds need to publish public notices on TV and Radio and Internet and Print on a regular basis to help our unaware seniors get informed.
@@willferrellagain People are vulnerable and these thieves target that demographic. Mark Rober explained in his video that he's working with local police departments, the FBI, Justice Department, and Homeland Security to expose this. I'm willing to assume that while law enforcement knew about these scams, they probably knew very little about its operations. What Mark, Jim Browning, and Pierogi did will be an immeasurably huge help for them.
Yeah, I watch some MeTV, GetTv, AntennaTV, Cozi. They show tons of life insurance ads, tons of medicare ads, etc. But not once do I remember any kind of ad or notice warning about these piece of shite scammers.
@@willferrellagain something else that came to mind too is technology can be hard if you're not used to it. Lately my family's been getting these texts from "Amazon" saying that we "won" something valuable, from Air Pods to a new computer and anything else. I accidentally opened one of those and immediately realized my mistake. When my mom told me about that, I walked her through how to just delete the texts and leaving them unread. As Mark explained in his video, the most important thing for these scammers at that point is knowing which numbers were legit, so the calls and texts would continue to come in. If I gave you a book in Korean and never bothered to teach you how to speak or read Korean, then it wouldn't be your fault that you couldn't read Korean. Don't be so quick to pass on judgment, even when hiding behind a fake RUclips name.
My mother and I were victims of a scam and lost money. When we told the police, they told us it was our fault and did nothing about it. No one helped us, so I feel happy when I see your videos, for once there's someone who makes something about it and don't blame the victims, but explain them how to be prepared. Thanks for everything, you are a hero!
Very honestly, the police is right on that one. What are they suposed to do about it? It would take weeks to trace down this 1 guy. Not really a high priority for the police. Can i give a future hint? If anything (mail, chats or phonecalls) asking for your Pin codes, bank numbers or ANY personal info. Just don't do it. I fallen for it 1 time because i was dumb. But i blocked my bank pas in less then 10 minutes. If you don't trust ANYTHING about the mail or phonecall you get. Cut it off
At the moment you give these guys access to your computer and then sending them the money the request , you are the only responsible !! Let’s stop blaming the police for some dumb things that people do !! And Some people needs to learn that way !! 🤷🏻♂️
Honestly, this is the only channel I would ever consider joining and even backing on patreon. The work this man does benefits us common folk. He could be the one to save your grandma from a scammer one day.
Yes, the number of hours he puts into one scammer, for the sake of mankind! How many people spend 3-4 hours of their day on the phone with a scammer, collecting evidence, and then spending hours calling up victims to tell them that they were scammed? That's a lot of time to dedicate, with a strong desire in his heart.
Hello I myself am an Indian and am so disgusted that crimes like these happen and nobody complains about these scammers. I am truly asking forgiveness for our negligence towards scammers.
@@flagmichael what if someones vomit with the fart spray, chokes and rip ? I mean I agree that it is what they deserve but isnt that (somewhat) possible ? Or similar with the glitter powder. Couldn't that get Mark in trouble too ?
And, let's not forget that the elderly also tend to be lonely, and sometimes think it's just nice to hear another person on the other end of the phone.
Because they don't really care, because they are part of a larger organisation that is involved in far, far bigger and more familiar (but not recognised) scams!
It's not on Netflix but Jim Browning was on BBC's Panorama on Tech scams and counter-scammers (Title of the show is "Spying on the Scammers" on BBC One)
You are great, you are a hero!! My daughter was scammed and im pissed! Guys like you are in our corner, guys at Trilogy, and many more..its happening to all of us, but most people are ashamed to talk about it...its like its their fault. Thats just wrong! Lets get the real people commiting these crimes. Thanks all of you. Never stop fighting.
great work, I wish their punishment could be much worse, my dad was a former DEA special agent and as foreign born person he spoke with an accent. I found him one day having a conversation like this with someone on the phone when he was in his 70's and I almost freaked out. I made him put the call on mute and I started to stop him when he explained that he keeps them on the phone for hours and keeps messing up their instructions and making them repeat themselves. he was scamming them and said the more time he held them on the call, the less time they were scamming someone else. he would then turn over the names and addresses and phone numbers and his notes to the local PD. this was his retirement entertainment! he's passed now but I will never forget that. thanks for all your doing and please keep it up. be well.
@@darkessraven If only fart spray was worse than getting sprayed by a pack of skunks. If t he glue was that really sticky kind that is a b***h ,and had bright permanent dye, to get off the mules' hands and no way to avoid getting their hands into it that also would be brilliant.
@@martina5296add something like glow in the dark/ uv reactive powder/or ac system dye mixed in to the glue. And for added stink effect add some gm differential friction modifier to the glue and skunk spray sprayers that stuff is about as nasty as actual skunk spray and doesn't wash off even with gojo, nor veggie oil and dish soap if you get it on you... you will smell it for a long time.
My grandmother almost got taken in by a phone scam back in 1998 or 99. She was living on Social Security and they did their best to get every bit of money she had left in her savings. The worst part was that it involved me. They called her and told her that they were me, and that I had been arrested in Canada. Her hearing wasn't great, so it wasn't hard to trick her into believing that she was talking to her grandson. I needed her to send $2500 so I could get out of jail, please, please don't tell my parents. She went as far as to prepare the Western Union payment (to a location in Ontario somewhere, so no, not all Canadians are nice...), then decided to get my number from my parents and double check (I was in college at the time, before cell phones were really a thing, and she didn't have my school number). So I got a very confusing call from her and luckily was able to let her know that it wasn't me and please don't send the money. I also told her about sending money by Western Union in general (i.e. don't ever do it unless you know exactly what you're doing). I've never been so mad in my life - if I had had a way to find them in Ontario I suspect that my brother and I would have taken a field trip to increase their violent crime rate a bit.
@@ayzzart899 who’s the bot? I’ve been watching SP since early last year what are you on about? JUST because I have a check that means I can’t watch and comment on RUclips videos like a normal person? I really don’t get it. What sense does it make for a music channel to come to a scam baiting channel for subscribers? 2 totally different audiences. That makes literally no sense. Let me support the man without being badgered. I’d greatly appreciate that. 🙏🏾
I cant believe how many dishonest people like this are out there, but I'm really glad that you, Jim and Mark partnered up to do this and say "We care, and we are going to put in are extra 200% to stop this."
I was thrilled at the notion of a glitterbomb being sent to someone, assuming you could be certain the person opening it deserved the special gift such a package contains, but sad that I did not expect it to also contain the marvelous fragrance of concentrated flatulence aroma I've seen employed on porch pirates. Then we get to just about 11 minutes in, and my sadness turned to gladness when the word "fart" was mentioned, and I knew what was coming. You guys are doing good works. I wonder why this problem is not regularly covered in national media. It boggles my mind that people in the USA are so easily fooled by so what is OBVIOUS to me: someone with a typical European name would not have the accent ALL of these scammers have got. But I guess if you're old and don't hear well, you're the perfect mark or target. Keep up the good work!
It's horrible that scammers like these exist on this planet, but what is great is that people like Pierogi and Mark Rober are there to help people, and we need more people like them in this world.

I remember when scammers called my mom telling her my sister was arrested in New Mexico and she needed to pay the bail money. My sister was 11 at the time.
@@lj7169 That's the point, she hadn't. she was 11 years old and we lived in a different state. my mom had sent us to school that morning. That's just something funny about scammers that has stuck with me to this day, even almost 2 decades later because of how ridiculous and funny some scammers calls can be.
Some idiot tried to pull that scam on my grandfather, except he tried pretending that it was about me while I was sitting in his living room. He had a lot of fun with that call, LOL.
Scammers did this years ago with my grandparents in Colorado. They said that I had gotten in big trouble and had been arrested in Guadalajara. They said that I had told them to call his Grandma, which she then responded that that is bullshit, because I never call her that, she is my Nana. Most epic takedown, because my Papa was about to give in and she went full badass on them.
This video should be distributed to all vulnerable adults. Great job everyone. I've had scammers ringing me all week, I block their number and they just call from another one. They are relentless but so are we!!
Sadly, the people most susceptible to scams are not watching RUclips nor would they really understand this. This video is great for entertainment, but not for educational purposes.
Off topic, but I wonder if any of the potential victims ever just said, when advised that they were overpaid, "Sucks to be you!" and hung up the phone.
Right I mean that's what id do (not that id ever go as far as letting them have access to my devices) but I mean yeah “tough luck kiddo, thanks for 3 years rent/mortgage”
@@JohnJonesBilly From the videos i've watched. It seems like these scammers tend to target the elderly, naïve, and/or very trusting type of people. @@lamorenalindacopswife So well said and yes, so sad. The people who have a good and caring heart are prayed upon by these parasites. It's no wonder people helping strangers has become for more rare, and that is disappointing.
This video is so haunting. My grandma received a call from “me” asking her to send me money because I had gotten arrested and I didn’t want my wife to know. I’m so thankful the guy at the bank saw it for the scam it was and had her call me first. It’s also haunting knowing that that package went to a town close to where I live...

My favorite thing to do is answer in my best Liam Neeson voice with "code word is sparrow, how do you reply" usually they ask "what?" "This is a private government number, code word is sparrow, how do you reply?!" "how do you reply!!!" "Agents are being dispatched to your location, how do you reply!!!" They always hang up.
Hahaha! The codeword is sparrow how do you reply, I love it. I hope I remember it. I'll steal it, I'll use it on everyone! (no scammer ever calls here)
I’ve pretended to be a scammer to get scammers to hang up. I usually insist to be Microsoft tech support and that their computer has a virus with a bad accent. They don’t stay on the phone long.
What amazes me - is YOU can do this, yet the police/FBI/CIA/every other alphabet organization can't do it? It just goes to show that they aren't even trying to stop it. Thank you for what you are doing on this! Please keep doing it!
How do you know they aren't? There's no possible way to stop all scammers. A family member worked for a certain organization and I can assure you, they do try to stop scammers, however there's no way to stop it completely.
I've got a friend who works for the Australian Federal Police and they ARE trying to stop these people, but it's pretty much the same as trying to destroy Mount Everest using a teaspoon.
Thank you for doing this. My mother got scammed when I was in the hospital due to my terminal illness. Seeing people like Jim/Mark/Kit/You getting back to scammers, telling people about this, informing people about how they take advantage of people especially those who are in difficult situation and pry on their emotions. It really is, I mean no words to describe it but thank you. God bless you and please keep on fighting.
I am an Indian and I am ashamed at these people who are scamming and destroying innocent people. At the same time I couldn't be more proud of the job you guys are doing to stop it. God bless!

While they aren't the actual scammers, they are a part of the operations. Because of the need to check on the package and possibly launder the cash before sending it on to the guys in India, I don't think the glitter bomb trick will make it further than a super. Regardless, Mark did mention that he, Jim, and Pierogi are continuing to work with various investigative agencies here and in India to take out more of these scammer operations, and may possibly have an update series of videos in the next few months or so.

Up here in Canada, we really enjoy watching your videos. I wish someone in government would get scammed and then maybe they would not only take you seriously but also fund you and your team to continue what you guys are obviously very good at, protecting the public and shutting down scammers. Bravo 🎉👍🏼 Keep it up
I'm in Canada too. The unfortunate thing is if anyone in government gets scammed they won't care because it is taxpayers money😂😢 they can replenish their money fast just tax us more. Hey .. I think government are scammers😂😂 except its billions of dollars scammed from just regular people.
I always say, "just a minute", put the phone down, walk away, and let them rack up their phone bill waiting...It's not much but every little helps. Thank you all so much for fighting the good fight, guys!
Do the 1st part in Rosie Green's comment = tell them to wait, put phone down... Then hack and trace the original IP address too and give the info to proper authorities. I mean you got to think - FBI and Homeland are already collaborating with international authorities, maybe even Interpol.
You three are the holy trinity against scammers. If the government had any sense they would give you three your own agency and funding so that you could really take it to the next level. ❤️
Get the government behind this? Are you kidding? They would hamstring the three, then nothing would get done. Keep the government out of it, and let the free market do its job. It works every time its tried.
No words can even begin to describe how much everyone appreciates the work that you do. The world is a better place with less people like those scammers and more people like you. Thank you.
I wish India had the resources to properly go after and shut this garbage down. From the way other commenters have explained, the police in most of the areas these call centers setup simply don’t have the resources or manpower to go after these people. Even when Jim Browning sends them direct addresses.
Pierogi, mate there are not enough words to describe the work you do, you are a champion…. Keep fighting the fight, one day the right people will listen, you are saving lives and livelihoods…. Well done mate, just well done

My family has been scammed extensively. It’s caused so much pain and financial devastation. Thank you for all you do. If only I could convince my mother that romance scammers are NOT in love with her.
my grandfather has fallen to these romeo scams for over a year. it's basically destroyed his relationship with my family. and he keeps falling for it no matter how much proof we show him or how many times they've cancelled on him but asked for hundreds of dollars anyway. its so unbelievably frustrating
Do you or a family member have POA? Do they have direct deposit? If so have all bills paid automatically on the date they receive deposit, withdraw funds that are left over, if you have siblings explain to them. Explain to the bank that they are falling victim to scammers. Open new account or keep track if you deposit into your account. It's a pain but they won't be able to access money to send to scammers. My dad(86)falls for the mail scams, I'm his POA so I now have his checkbook, he was sending close to 400.00 a month to the scammers. It's heartbreaking to not be able to convince them to stop giving scammers money. I have worked in financial institutions, luckily I was able to stop several people from being scammed.
Please let us know if these creeps get convicted. Thank you so much for all you are doing. My 85 year old father was scammed out of $30k and he lives on a fixed income and can barely afford to pay for his medications each month. These creeps are heartless and the authorities couldn’t do anything.
The most impressive part of this is he had 30K to lose living on a fixed income. I grew up with a single mother who supported (I use that word loosely) us with her SSI disability checks. $30,000 might as well have been a million dollars.

If she can keep each scammer engaged for 10 minutes she's possibly saved around 8 or 9 victims a week 🤔. I'm so proud of my wife and her empathy towards the vulnerable, i love her so much.

Thank you! My 85 yr old father was scammed out of 2000.00 in the infamous grandparent scam. He was so embarrassed that he fell for it, so I thank you for your dedication to getting justice for seniors, and everyone that gets caught in these scams. I’m so happy for you that you were able to see your work in action. God bless.❤
I remember when scammers called my mom telling her my sister was arrested in New Mexico and she needed to pay the bail money. My sister was 11 at the time.
How did they know that she'd been arrested and what had she done?

Never thought I’d see the Sauce Stache in the comments 🙏
We don’t need more people like this. We need YOU (= the reader of this comment) to become a person like this.
@@oliverquach9614 yes you're right, hopefully though people who do see these videos will also.promite the message in their local communities. 😉
Off topic, but I wonder if any of the potential victims ever just said, when advised that they were overpaid, "Sucks to be you!" and hung up the phone.
That's exactly what I'd do. Of course there isn't any payment at all, but it'd be fun.
I wonder what the other reply was?
Right I mean that's what id do (not that id ever go as far as letting them have access to my devices) but I mean yeah “tough luck kiddo, thanks for 3 years rent/mortgage”
@@JohnJonesBilly From the videos i've watched. It seems like these scammers tend to target the elderly, naïve, and/or very trusting type of people. That's why they're able to get away with stuff like this. The type of person that would just hang up the phone would unlikely ever get very far in their scam to begin with.... It's such a shame
@@lamorenalindacopswife So well said and yes, so sad. The people who have a good and caring heart are prayed upon by these parasites. It's no wonder people helping strangers has become for more rare, and that is disappointing.
With as many times scammers have called you, one would think that they wouldn’t call your phone number anymore.
There is a list of phone numbers that gets sold from one scamming operation to another one. That's why they keep calling.
That is so f'd up, wow.
The same thing happened to someone in a group chat with me. They called his grandma pretending to be him and told her he’s injured and out of town and needs to be sent money to pay for medical bills and transportation
Same thing with my brother and grandmother they said he was in a canadian jail.
How little do you see your grandmothers that they would actually believe it was you?
@@IncredibleIceCastle Well at that time he was in college so probably 2-3 times a month. But we live nowhere even near Canada. She swore up and down that she spoke to my brother himself on the phone along with the "lawyer" was helping him get out.
Thanks! Love you guys!
LOL, I'll have to remember that one for next time!
Hahaha! The codeword is sparrow how do you reply, I love it. I hope I remember it. I'll steal it, I'll use it on everyone! (no scammer ever calls here)
Now I want to see a video of this for some reason.
I’ve pretended to be a scammer to get scammers to hang up. I usually insist to be Microsoft tech support and that their computer has a virus with a bad accent. They don’t stay on the phone long.
That is too funny
It's nice to see one of the rare moments when someone involved in a scam actually gets caught. Keep up the good work.
What amazes me - is YOU can do this, yet the police/FBI/CIA/every other alphabet organization can't do it? It just goes to show that they aren't even trying to stop it. Thank you for what you are doing on this! Please keep doing it!
Very true.
How do you know they aren't? There's no possible way to stop all scammers. A family member worked for a certain organization and I can assure you, they do try to stop scammers, however there's no way to stop it completely.
Youd be the first to complain about a tax increase for more resources.
They're too busy overthrowing "socialist" governments and planning the next war on a poverty-stricken country with lots of oil
I've got a friend who works for the Australian Federal Police and they ARE trying to stop these people, but it's pretty much the same as trying to destroy Mount Everest using a teaspoon.
I really thank yall so much keep up the good work, i shared this with others and will began share everything i am learning with others
We thank you for the support and encouragement
Thank you for doing this. My mother got scammed when I was in the hospital due to my terminal illness. Seeing people like Jim/Mark/Kit/You getting back to scammers, telling people about this, informing people about how they take advantage of people especially those who are in difficult situation and pry on their emotions. It really is, I mean no words to describe it but thank you. God bless you and please keep on fighting.
I am an Indian and I am ashamed at these people who are scamming and destroying innocent people. At the same time I couldn't be more proud of the job you guys are doing to stop it. God bless!
Don't feel too ashamed. There are terrible people in every country. See their U.S. collaborators? Shame to all of those who commit scams, fauds and thefts. I don't feel that an honest person should ever feel ashamed for someone else's freely chosen evil acts.

Started at Mark Rober, then Jim, and then here. Now I'm just waiting for the scammer to upload a video about this.
I thought Jim said the guy wasn't even a scammer? And had a video of the woman they suspected was actually supposed to get the package? Am I wrong?
@@do_gotcha nah that’s the Airbnb owner this woman was the other one featured on Jim’s channel
@@do_gotcha The one that they got at last were the supervisor, pretty sure. I mean, she was also a kind of scammer.. Well it's just a joke so yeah.
There is also another person called Kitboga he also does stuff like this
@@do_gotcha Mark in his video mentioned they accidentally caught the AirB&B homeowner in the crossfire, the first time they tried to counter a scam, though why that guy opened the package himself is slightly suspicious...
However, the woman here who opened the package was a super, I believe, and so far most of the people they've hit have been the mules and the mule supers. While they aren't the actual scammers, they are a part of the operations. Because of the need to check on the package and possibly launder the cash before sending it on to the guys in India, I don't think the glitter bomb trick will make it further than a super.
Regardless, Mark did mention that he, Jim, and Pierogi are continuing to work with various investigative agencies here and in India to take out more of these scammer operations, and may possibly have an update series of videos in the next few months or so.
in the last 6 months I found Jim Browning then Mark Rober and then Pierogi, and then they up and team up this is freaking awesome!!!
