I am a homeless man with very little money. I have a phone and a dog and thats all. And even i get targeted by scammers. But i never oblige to anything they say and i just type nonsense to them. Seeing you tear them apart had made me very happy. To you good sirs i say thank you for your service to the world and never stop. And when i eventually make it i will be donating. I always feel sad when hearing and or reading someone is homeless. There ought to never be anyone in this world without a safe roof over their head. I really hope life improves for you sooner than later.
This had me in tears. My wife was scammed out of a large amount of money, while she was suffering from a period of mental trauma. We ended up having to sell our house to pay back borrowed monies.

If the person is confused I.e early onset dementia they will think it’s their actual son. So they will do EVERYTHING they ask of them. It’s cruel beyond belief.

I go to this little forested area down my street and pick up every single piece of trash I can find. Its usually 4-5 large paper bags of trash. Every time I go back it's covered in garbage again. Still go back almost every month to clean it up. I've never received a thanks or anything for it. Actually my neighbor called it a dumb move because it just keeps getting trashed. Oh well! Makes me happy.

Had a scammer call me here in the UK the other day. I wanted to waste his time to avoid him bothering unaware, or vulnerable people. So I asked him if he’d like to hear a story - obviously, he faked interest in hopes he’d get what he wanted. I made up a spontaneous, ridiculous story that lasted for roughly 10 minutes. The story ended with “and the man that was watching, waiting and planning his attack the whole time, just so happened to be, non other, than the legendary Scammer Payback”. Needless to say he hung up immediately and blocked my number. Small success, but a success non-the-less.

Pretty easy to spot if you’ve been exposed to it but I have an relative who has dementia and those are very vurnerable. She was actually manipulated by her son who took everything from her and now she barely has a home to live in. It’s crazy how these people have no empathy or heart. The fact that you could concisely take money and manipulate our elders is preposterous. All they care about is money

The joy in her voice when you told her you were about to send the sheriff over. Love that, when I was in customer service, that was always the best part when you could really make someone's day and help them through something, except they were probably going to completely ruin this woman's life. That's gotta feel great. I love the work you guys do.
Sheriff gave lip service when an actual "Welness check" is what was needed/requested. Citizens of his town should learn about HIM as we heard of no offer to visit. But yes Marc John, her joy was real.

I was scammed by these crooks about three years ago . I have been on a quest to get revenge on them ever since . I talk to other seniors and warn them of these Scams , to just hang up and not to acknowledge them . I encourage them to block the numbers and , report them as phishing scams on their computers . The more of these criminals you can destroy the better . Thanks Pierogi . You're a warrior , and you have my respect .

When you realized for certain you’d saved the elderly lady from losing the contents of her bank account, you teared up…. And at that point I literally lost it! Hey bro I was contacted by a "norton anti-virus rep" last month about owing money and I do have norton. We got about 10 mins in and I was already suspicious but when they asked me to download whatever it is that let's them control your pc I knew for sure they were scammers. If I hadn't watched vids like yours before I certainly could've be taken advantage of. You guys are awesome man, keep it up!

They almost got me last year. Once I realized what was happening I shut it down. I had to get a new debit card, freeze my credit reports, etc. I was so ashamed and embarrassed. I’m 64 and disabled now. Thank you so very much for everything you do !🥰❤️
YOU have NOTHING to be ashamed of or embarrassed by. They are very very good at what they do and scam thousands of people every day. Luckily there are people trying to stop them and to keep others informed of the risks. So glad you realised in time it must be devastating to be scammed!
Watch out for IRS scams in the USA too - HMRC in the UK. They call people up threatening to have them arrested if they don't pay some money, and tell them if they put the phone down, they'll have police at their door. It's utter nonsense, both organisations send you a warning in the post, not call you up and threaten arrest.
tell your friends, tell your family to tell their relatives about these scams......Also, put your phone to answering machine, and ONLY answer people you know.....

This goes out to any discord users: I’m a tutor in a certain discord server that has tutors for free and who volunteer their time for free for mathematics. I as a tutor was offered money for my services so obviously I took it. I was offered 25 bucks an hour, had a session for 2 hours with a person who “didnt have a mic” so I was suspicious. They then sent me a check “accidentally” for their rent which was 550$ instead of 50$.. I immediately caught sight of that and they asked me to refund them through zelle.. I immediately blocked them and I immediately contacted authorities. NEVER SEND MONEY THROUGH ZELLE UNLESS YOU KNOW THE PERSON!
I didn’t fall for it thanks to channels like this but just know anyone can be scammed. If someone asks for direct payment that isn’t “for business” where you can retract the payment, don’t buy into it.

My father almost got scammed a couple months ago. He’s losing his memory lately and he is not as aware as he used to be. Thank goodness my mom ask what he was doing and she recognized it was a scam. I am happy you are others are out here helping people and helping get these scumbags.

As a Cyber Security Analyst, I love your videos. I found your channel in the last few weeks and love everything you do. Every time either one of my phones ring and its immediately a person, rather than a robot, I try my best to either waste as much time as possible or let them connect to a Linux VM. Watching scammers trying to run windows commands on a Linux box is the funniest thing ever. I would highly recommend it. Thanks for all of the laughs!!

I love how you are dishing out some justice to these douchebags. I really appreciate how passionate you are about saving the victims in real time as well! I just wish I could go back to the day I lost over $3,000 and stop it but I was young at least I could recoup it

Even though the scammer was being manipulated by you pretending to be an elderly man it was kinda wholesome in a way. I loves that the poor scammer said happy birthday even though he was being manipulated. Also great video!

@@jordynnjm6639 as far as im aware police are reactionary. They cannot do anything until the crime happens. And even if it does happen they still might not help.
I’ve heard so many horror stories of people losing hundreds of thousands in these scams, I love that you can give back a little fear and pain to them

Dude, you have inspired me that once I get a phone that actually can call and text ppl that when a scammer calls I can just say *we’ve been trying to reach you about your mom trying not to tell you that you’re adopted*
