I am a homeless man with very little money. I have a phone and a dog and thats all. And even i get targeted by scammers. But i never oblige to anything they say and i just type nonsense to them. I go to this little forested area down my street and pick up every single piece of trash I can find. Its usually 4-5 large paper bags of trash. Every time I go back it's covered in garbage again. Still go back almost every month to clean it up. I've never received a thanks or anything for it. Actually my neighbor called it a dumb move because it just keeps getting trashed. Oh well! Makes me happy.

Hey bro I was contacted by a "norton anti-virus rep" last month about owing money and I do have norton. We got about 10 mins in and I was already suspicious but when they asked me to download whatever it is that let's them control your pc I knew for sure they were scammers. If I hadn't watched vids like yours before I certainly could've be taken advantage of. You guys are awesome man, keep it up!

I was scammed by these crooks about three years ago . I have been on a quest to get revenge on them ever since . I talk to other seniors and warn them of these Scams , to just hang up and not to acknowledge them . I encourage them to block the numbers and , report them as phishing scams on their computers . Every time either one of my phones ring and its immediately a person, rather than a robot, I try my best to either waste as much time as possible or let them connect to a Linux VM. Watching scammers trying to run windows commands on a Linux box is the funniest thing ever. I would highly recommend it. Thanks for all of the laughs!!

Had a scammer call me here in the UK the other day. I wanted to waste his time to avoid him bothering unaware, or vulnerable people. So I asked him if he’d like to hear a story - obviously, he faked interest in hopes he’d get what he wanted. I made up a spontaneous, ridiculous story that lasted for roughly 10 minutes. The story ended with “and the man that was watching, waiting and planning his attack the whole time, just so happened to be, non other, than the legendary Scammer Payback”. Needless to say he hung up immediately and blocked my number. Small success, but a success non-the-less.
I’m so glad you’re here to stop them in their tracks even if it’s for a few days. Everyone needs to collectively make their “job” a nightmare. Also inform your grandparents/parents on what calls are scams!

They almost got me last year. Once I realized what was happening I shut it down. I had to get a new debit card, freeze my credit reports, etc. I was so ashamed and embarrassed. I’m 64 and disabled now. Thank you so very much for everything you do !🥰❤️
YOU have NOTHING to be ashamed of or embarrassed by. They are very very good at what they do and scam thousands of people every day. Luckily there are people trying to stop them and to keep others informed of the risks. So glad you realised in time it must be devastating to be scammed!
Watch out for IRS scams in the USA too - HMRC in the UK. They call people up threatening to have them arrested if they don't pay some money, and tell them if they put the phone down, they'll have police at their door. It's utter nonsense, both organisations send you a warning in the post, not call you up and threaten arrest.
tell your friends, tell your family to tell their relatives about these scams......Also, put your phone to answering machine, and ONLY answer people you know.....

Thanks for all you do Pierogi! because of your vids, i was able to recognize a scam in progress at my local gas station. The almost victim was an older retired woman, the scammers were claiming to be from paypal and were trying to get her to send bitcoin to them via the btc atm that was inside. I was able to interrupt her before she sent any funds and explain to her how these scams work. My heart was racing and I wasn't sure if I should intervene at first, but the more I listened, there was no doubt it was 100% a scam. Would have never known about these if i hadn't found your vids. Keep up the good work! it's having even more of an impact than you can even imagine!
Met an old man crying at a bus stop in kc, on his way to buy flipping gift cards because of an irs scam call. I had to swear on my children's heads it wasn't true. It took some doing, but finally I got him to call his daughter and give me the phone. We got the situation solved, but it was total random luck he wasn't fleeced. He was so scared of the irs.☹
It always makes me feel a little sick whenever these scammers call their victims "Dad" or "mom", or something long those lines. Not only is it disgustingly manipulative, but it also just comes across as outright weird. I really hope their actual mothers and fathers discover what they're doing and disown them for it.

This goes out to any discord users: I’m a tutor in a certain discord server that has tutors for free and who volunteer their time for free for mathematics. I as a tutor was offered money for my services so obviously I took it. I was offered 25 bucks an hour, had a session for 2 hours with a person who “didnt have a mic” so I was suspicious. They then sent me a check “accidentally” for their rent which was 550$ instead of 50$.. I immediately caught sight of that and they asked me to refund them through zelle.. I immediately blocked them and I immediately contacted authorities. NEVER SEND MONEY THROUGH ZELLE UNLESS YOU KNOW THE PERSON! I didn’t fall for it thanks to channels like this but just know anyone can be scammed. If someone asks for direct payment that isn’t “for business” where you can retract the payment, don’t buy into it.

Pretty easy to spot if you’ve been exposed to it but I have an relative who has dementia and those are very vurnerable. She was actually manipulated by her son who took everything from her and now she barely has a home to live in. It’s crazy how these people have no empathy or heart. The fact that you could concisely take money and manipulate our elders is preposterous. All they care about is money

I was scammed by these crooks about three years ago . I have been on a quest to get revenge on them ever since . I talk to other seniors and warn them of these Scams , to just hang up and not to acknowledge them . I encourage them to block the numbers and , report them as phishing scams on their computers . Every time either one of my phones ring and its immediately a person, rather than a robot, I try my best to either waste as much time as possible or let them connect to a Linux VM. Had a scammer call me here in the UK the other day. I wanted to waste his time to avoid him bothering unaware, or vulnerable people. So I asked him if he’d like to hear a story - obviously, he faked interest in hopes he’d get what he wanted. I made up a spontaneous, ridiculous story that lasted for roughly 10 minutes. The story ended with “and the man that was watching, waiting and planning his attack the whole time, just so happened to be, non other, than the legendary Scammer Payback”. Needless to say he hung up immediately and blocked my number. Small success, but a success non-the-less.

They almost got me last year. Once I realized what was happening I shut it down. I had to get a new debit card, freeze my credit reports, etc. I was so ashamed and embarrassed. I’m 64 and disabled now. Thank you so very much for everything you do !🥰❤️
YOU have NOTHING to be ashamed of or embarrassed by. They are very very good at what they do and scam thousands of people every day. Luckily there are people trying to stop them and to keep others informed of the risks. So glad you realised in time it must be devastating to be scammed!
Watch out for IRS scams in the USA too - HMRC in the UK. They call people up threatening to have them arrested if they don't pay some money, and tell them if they put the phone down, they'll have police at their door. It's utter nonsense, both organisations send you a warning in the post, not call you up and threaten arrest.
tell your friends, tell your family to tell their relatives about these scams......Also, put your phone to answering machine, and ONLY answer people you know.....

A couple of days ago I got a call from a scammer (I recognized the pattern from watching your videos) and all I said was "Do you know Pierogi, do you know Scammer Payback?" and they immediately hung up. There's some evidence of your hard work. Keep it up, it's working.

My father almost got scammed a couple months ago. He’s losing his memory lately and he is not as aware as he used to be. Thank goodness my mom ask what he was doing and she recognized it was a scam. I am happy you are others are out here helping people and helping get these scumbags.
This is the exact scam I got this week and the man sounds similar to the one that called me. He got so mad when I wouldn’t do what he wanted and said some pretty vile things to me. I hope you catch them all! Thanks so much for what you do!

because of your vids, i was able to recognize a scam in progress at my local gas station. The almost victim was an older retired woman, the scammers were claiming to be from paypal and were trying to get her to send bitcoin to them via the btc atm that was inside. I was able to interrupt her before she sent any funds and explain to her how these scams work. My heart was racing and I wasn't sure if I should intervene at first, but the more I listened, there was no doubt it was 100% a scam. Would have never known about these if i hadn't found your vids. Keep up the good work! it's having even more of an impact than you can even imagine!
Met an old man crying at a bus stop in kc, on his way to buy flipping gift cards because of an irs scam call. I had to swear on my children's heads it wasn't true. It took some doing, but finally I got him to call his daughter and give me the phone. We got the situation solved, but it was total random luck he wasn't fleeced. He was so scared of the irs.☹
It always makes me feel a little sick whenever these scammers call their victims "Dad" or "mom", or something long those lines.
Not only is it disgustingly manipulative, but it also just comes across as outright weird.
I really hope their actual mothers and fathers discover what they're doing and disown them for it.

This goes out to any discord users: I’m a tutor in a certain discord server that has tutors for free and who volunteer their time for free for mathematics. I as a tutor was offered money for my services so obviously I took it. I was offered 25 bucks an hour, had a session for 2 hours with a person who “didnt have a mic” so I was suspicious. They then sent me a check “accidentally” for their rent which was 550$ instead of 50$.. I immediately caught sight of that and they asked me to refund them through zelle.. I immediately blocked them and I immediately contacted authorities. NEVER SEND MONEY THROUGH ZELLE UNLESS YOU KNOW THE PERSON!
I didn’t fall for it thanks to channels like this but just know anyone can be scammed. If someone asks for direct payment that isn’t “for business” where you can retract the payment, don’t buy into it.

When you realized for certain you’d saved the elderly lady from losing the contents of her bank account, you teared up…. And at that point I literally lost it! My mother is the same age as she was and that really got to me. Bless you my friend…and all the wonderful people that you have helping you to rid our world of these nasty scammers!
