Heck yeah man! I have SO much respect for your decision to not only not sell crap, but to resist the too-easy choice of outsourcing to the lowest bidder in a horrible factory. Thank you.
Love that Ryan highlights how we buy unnecessary things! My motorcycle key is always on its own. I guess that's another way to solve the problem if you can
I have 4 keys: ignition (new cylinder), seat and tank (orig., in a sleeve), side boxes, top box. They sit and burnish the metal where they sit. It's not a problem. Nice fob; I'd use it if given, but I don't need it. I might make my own someday out of old ski base, though...
I wear a carabiner through a belt loop. The key is on its own ring (plus a REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT tag to make it more visible if I drop it) that comes on and off the carabiner.
Had to pause to finish laughing after seeing the SKYN gore-tex condom at 1:23 . Referential humor is the best kind of humor... Keep growing the FortNine mythos!
It drives me crazy and I have a naked bike plus a Motokom noise-canceling headset which is fantastic for wind and exhausts (and I really mean that, best I've ever used, get one. I never knew you could hear the full dynamic range of music and clear vocals at 100kph with the visor down), but it is not so good for rattles or sirens (which is probably a feature but idk). I leave my keys in the bike shed though and the problem is solved. Your keys are only for around your house and sheds anyway.
Honestly, I've always kept vehicle keys separate from the other keys. Give them a little keychain ornament so you know which is which in your pocket, and the motorcycle key gets something soft that won't ding anything around it.
I just keep them in My riding Jacket and a spare in the garage, so I never had it with another set...anytime I think about doing that, I just figure it's easier on its own. That being said, I already purchased the F9 solution before I finished watching the video...
I started keeping my house keys separate before I even started riding since I didn't want too much weight on the key in the car. Since then, I've always kept them separate regardless of how many cars and bikes I've owned at any given time. Any time I leave the house, I grab my house keys + whatever vehicle I'm taking. My motorbike key just has the key + an airtag in a leather holder, so I don't run into this problem at all.
This is the way. I keep the little tag the dealer put on it and that is enough for me. It lives in my main jackets chest buttoned pocket. All my other bikes keys live in an old hotdog jar

I love that you guys showed your iterative process, whether they were bad or good. It is really nice to know that you guys thought out the concept and tested every possible scenario out first before finalizing the product and going to mass manufacture. Keep up the good work! I only have one motorcycle at the moment so I don't think I have a need for such an accessory but maybe one day I will and I'll be thinking of you guys.
I don't drive a motorcycle but I love how this is shot/edited like a low-mid budget television show. That's a compliment, I promise! It's a style no other youtuber I've watched has ever nailed down.
Honesty and Integrity. That's FortNine. I haven't had a bike for years, but still watch the content anyway. Plus, Ryan is one of Canada's national treasures. Part of our Ryan Trifecta (with Reynolds and Gosling).
Made that exact same thing about 2 weeks after I started riding from a scrap piece of leather and a few dollars at the arts and crafts store... Amazing how people get annoyed by the same stuff and end up with the same solution....Great work guys, as usual
@@stevenkelby2169 Sure that's your call. You do realize that Ryan makes a butt load just from RUclips monetization to begin with though? I love the F9 content generally and when these things are woven organically into an actual video with great content I don't mind them at all. The blatant shilling of products however in place of good content not so much.
@@ChillyDippers You make a good point. This video was really just an ad that we all drooled over, because we love F9 content. I guess I fell for it. F9 has built up a lot of trust over the years. 8 hope they're careful with it.
For the first 8 months of my riding I didn't register the rattling of the keychain, but when I took a 350 mile ride, by the beginning of Hour 2 I removed the keychain and let the Bike Key fly solo. Its not an issue if you're a commuter (like me) but can drive you insane if you do any trip > 1.5hrs. Nice invention Ryan and Gang! Edit : Also, keep the MTB on the same channel, just have a separate playlist! Edit-2 : @FortNine did you guys ever consider using velcro instead of button? a strip of velcro means the key wrap could be size adjustable!!!
For Velcro, it's eventually going to wear out/get filled with other fibers, and not work well anymore (hence why most Mechanics brand gloves wear out, and also why the space industry has very low number limits on how many times a particular piece of Velcro can be done and undone before it has to be completely replaced)
Agreee; keep the MTB on the main channel. I'd bet most who like those videos are not pedal-bikers themselves, but enjoy the presentation and content nevertheless 😀
This sounds like hyperbole, it’s not. Ryan, I am always amazed and impressed with your writing, directing, and filmmaking. Witty words and sneaky visual jokes in every video, just enough video to make your point yet also entertaining. I appreciate your work and integrity
Glad to see someone other than myself recognized this problem. And you came up with a great design! (And I like your attitude, as always.) Keep up the great work, guys.
A very entertaining, informative video about an almost non-existent problem. And then a near apology for suggesting you could buy some of his merch. And an almost warning not to. And I listened to it twice while working in the garage because Ryan’s videos are that good.
I'm an absolute madman who has all their keys separate. House and mailbox key with one keychain, one bike's key (+pannier keys) in another keychain, other bike's keys (+ pannier keys) in yet another one, all the spare ignition keys and pannier keys in all their separate ones, car keys in yet another one, van keys in yet another one... I think that probably sounds like a nightmare for most people :D
@@AshleyPomeroy Well I mean that's exactly when you need them separate - because you don't have to remove your bike key from the ignition to open the house door! :D
So well made and honest advertisement with the viewer as equally valued human. I don't own a motorcycle, but am drawn to the charm and quality of this channel. ❤
Love this idea, this has always annoyed me. I work at a dealership and seeing the shape of the plastic or chrome around where the key goes is always upsetting. I worked on a VTX where an aluminum turtle wore its way all the way through a plastic side cover. My solution is to have just the key with some sort of leather or rubber keychain on it. All other keys I might need go in my bikes storage or in my pocket. This is such a fantastic idea, and looks good too, well done F9 Team!!!
@@Sj1bby Well, my side hustle is leather working. Flawed or not - they're getting $29 for something that has a cost of *maybe* $3-$5. I mean wow - I think I'm going to start making these things myself!
I go the route of just running a standalone key separately with a little high vis tag on it in case I drop it. It's hardly a hassle, but I do appreciate this design.
Me too. Single key with a leather tag that doesn't scratch anything. One for each motorcycle. There is no way that I can have all ignition keys in one bundle anyway.
Did I just sit and watch a 5 minute commercial for a nearly useless product but yet was still entertained by the content of said commercial? That alone is worth ordering at least 2 of these!
Update - Just received my key wrap today. I'm happy with it as it will suit my needs just fine. A word of caution though, this wrap is only large enough to hold 3 or 4 medium sized bare keys. If any of your keys are clad in plastic or rubber, as many dealer provided keys are, you'll only get that key and one other to fit somewhat tightly in the wrap. In my case I have a Honda key, luggage key and house key on my key ring the. The Honda key has a thick plastic cladding on it so it barely fits on its own. So this really won't work with a factory key, but I can easily get 3 bare keys to fit with no problems. Just need to have an uncladded ignition key made and I'll be all set.
@@heisenberg1486 Don't mind spending a little money if the money that I am spending is going toward helping create future entertaining content. Really if $29 is going to put a pinch on someone's wallet, then owning a motorcycle is probably not a hobby that they are going to enjoy much.
Bellroy key cover. Made exactly like your 3d printed version and works great. Ive used one for years now. Made of leather, uses magnetic enclosure and holds up to 8 keys. It is more costly though but I use it for my everyday keys. My motorcycles have always had their own dedicated soft key chains with their respective keys being the only ones attached to it.
I was planning on typing up a novel on how your channel is the BEST in existence for motorcycle and "other stuff" content. You are a Legend and the content you provide is, and hopefully will remain Premo, otherwise it will blend with all the other junk out there. Kudos for not providing junk. keep up the great work, looking forward to more quality stuff.
I had an older Goldwing. Same thing, a mystery rattle that was making me nuts. Turns out it was a fender washer living deep inside the fairing, just chilling out, rattling around….
One idea, you could use velcro instead of a button, which would allow you to cinch the keys tight regardless of how many keys you have or the stretch of the leather as it breaks in. This would also allow you to remove the rubber O-rings for better space management. Another idea, is to have an elastic banded loop that attaches half way down the leather strip. When the keys are rolled inside, the elastic ring can be looped over the leather wrapped keys, also keeping them under tension so you don't need the O-rings.
Except velcro doesn't grab well in this design, there's outward tension because the leather wants to unfold. And velcro wears out, so then its useless. Also it doesn't fit the robust design and is difficult to open with one hand. same with an elastic ring.
Another easy solution is using 2mm thick dynema cord, or anything else equally robust and thick to tie a loop in. Then sliding the long end through the keys to make a cow hitch, you cinch the keys together. Then you can slide the knot through the leather's keyring hole, rest the keys inside, and let it be loose. The cow hitch will keep the keys tight together, and the excess coradage can be used as a lanyard.
Nice way to sell a product 👌 I solved this problem by separating the keys so I only plug the starter key. The rest are in my pocket along with the alarm controller
I have recently come into possession of a motorcycle that requires two keys. So, this solution very much solves that problem. Bought it on the spot. Thank you!
On a related note regarding an extremely high tech, grotesquely expensive solution to this problem is keyless ignition. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this in a future video. I've always been very adverse to buying a bike with this tech despite the added security against theft it seems to add. This year I bought my first bike with keyless and brought it in for a repair. When picking it up a service aide came from the back, rolling my bike outside the shop with the display active. I hopped on and drove off only to find a warning code come on after 10 minutes stating, "key out of range" displayed on my information panel. With a sick feeling I remembered afresh this new technology not present for me for the past 50+ years. I thought, "Not so bad. I just have the inconvenience of driving back to the shop". Not so! The key was not to be found. The tech who brought out my bike suggested the key might have been left by the mechanic in the slot of the tail section that removes the rear pillion. "Why in hell would he do that?" I said. Everybody looked around on the ground for some time and with great care. Needless to say I did not turn off my bike. I retraced my path at very slow speed which was probably just the opposite of what my Super Duke was designed to do. I even pulled over on the shoulder of the freeway and walked back 1/2 to 3/4 mile from where the warning first appeared, looking for the discarded key on a very busy and, in this perspective, threatening road. I again returned to the shop and the staff conferred with the mechanic who stated he left the key on top of the tank in a slotted area just below the triple clamp. The tech who brought out the bike said he never saw it. Me, do'h, was totally oblivious due to this new habit. The owner of the establishment groaned stating the new key would cost the shop $400 (it's a mom & pop business). I felt horrible regardless of the cost, whatever it truly is. I'll split the price and pay half, my call on this, and in the future take total responsibility which it really it is. But so expensive a direction to which manufacturers have gone! As a young man a key replacement blank cost me about thirty-five cents! K! Lastly the tech said to me, :"You do have your valet key and card?" I got a really sick feeling. I had never thought about that since bringing the bike home approximately 6 months ago. I didn't know. As it turned out the tech drove me home to check and I found the key and the plastic card with the duplication code in my safe. Afterwards it was back to the dealership for a third time to order the new key. I'm still waiting for it and am very anxious regarding loosing this key, no longer nice, warm and safe in the safe.
I have a '64 Harley, which has no starter or even a battery since it is kick-start only. The security is the starting ritual you must intimately know to get the thing started at all, despite not having a key. Getting the crankshaft just right before kicking, getting the choke just right, priming the carb bowl just right without flooding, twisting the throttle just right at the same time as kicking, kicking hard enough not to have the bike kick you back and break your leg... A lost art. I think a keyed system is actually easier to steal.
@@aaronleverton4221 I meant that a keyless hard-to-start-becasue-it-is-kickstart-only is less easy to steal than a bike with an electric started and a key.
Bought an identical product from Tale of Knives a couple months ago and have been loving it ever since! Always good to have more competition on the market, designs like this are true Quality of Life improvements.
I've seen plenty of ignitions (scooter, motorcycle, car) ruined by the weight of additional keys. I've seen keys damaged from getting caught in the headstock. I've seen people lose entire keyrings from the bike key ejecting from a loose barrel whilst riding! I also HATE the sound of rattles! So, I keep my bike key on its own giant fabric keyring which has "The Key To Happiness" stitched on it! It negates all the other issues whilst being extremely easy to find in your riding pants or bag whilst wearing gloves - easy to pick up off the floor when you drop it too! However, I could be tempted tp buy one of these and tidy up my main keychain which somehow jingles like Santa's sleigh in my work pants 😂
Nice design. Definitely solving a real problem. Looks good. Two small issues, potentially: (i) the metal stud might still scratch the trip clamp, unless you insert the key correct side up, which is the problem you're trying to solve and (ii) the fixed dimensions of the leather patch means no more than x number of keys can be accommodated, including possibly not the 6 or 8 keys you mentioned.
This vid made me realize that Korea does not use keys for cars, home or commercial doors (all electronic) anymore so the only key I own is my motorcycle key. Otherwise I would have bought your merch. Love you guys because of how you do what you do.
Confirmed real "problem" and couldn't be more perfect timing since my orbitkey finally broke a couple weeks ago and I've been looking for a new solution. This seems lovely!
I keep my motorcycle key separate from all other keys... I have pockets on my motorcycle jacket that are slip/zip-ups that are relatively water-proof so I keep my papers and keys in there... I will never go on my bike without my jacket so it makes sense to store them in it.
So true! I have a dedicated napsack that goes in my saddleback that I keep documents, wallet, keys, and phone in! It also has "BLOOD A+", my fiancé's cell number, and which hospital I do NOT want to be taken to on the documents 😂
I have definitely thought of this, especially on some special editions that have numbered plaques on the triple clamp. I can't stand having vehicle keys on the same loop as all my other keys, so my other keys live together in my pocket on a loop, and each vehicle gets a leather logo attached to its key. I just bring one key along, the spare stays at home so it can't get lost and I know where it is when I need it. Simple, no jingling, no scratches. This looks like a good solution for someone that likes having their keys together.
Might want to think about keeping a spare key in your internal jacket pocket. Then if you ever lose your regular key while out riding you have your spare with you. I have more than one jacket so each one has a key.
My take on MTB: F9 and Revzilla are to me, the OG Top Gear of motorbikes. Meaning, if it’s actually not really about motorcycles (or cars), I stay and watch all the same, because of the carisma and writing. Your MTB video a few days ago was “off-topic”, yes, but thoroughly entertaining. Me likey 👍
this is one of the best solutions i've seen to this problem. i used to have a microfibre cloth in the windshield of my bike that i'll wedge below the keyhole of my bike every time i went out for a ride... $30 is a pretty good price for handmade leather goods as well so thank you f9
Clever idea, well executed, but somewhat limited. I use a very small key ring through the key, and hang it on a carabiner that holds the rest of the keys and goes in the pocket of my riding jacket or Aerostich. It takes very little effort to take the ignition key off the carabiner and put it back on when not in use. The very small key ring does not contact the triple clamp. This also allows the motorcycyle to remain running while opening the top box (separate Givi key, which will not conveniently fit in the F9 leather thingy) to change to warmer gloves. A lot less than $29.00 plus shipping and sales tax. (ouch!) To each his own.
Herr's another obscure little non-problem for you sir. I don't carry a backpack during my daily commutes but I would love to carry a water bottle around like on my mtb. Also, hopefully international shipping on them. ❤
I like this creative solution. I've always kept my main motorcycle key separate from the rest of my keys but attached to a key tag. You guys should do a key tag.
I bought the same thing several years ago from Tale of Knives. Put some neatsfoot oil on it (same oil I use on leather dog leashes) and it’s still perfect. Glad to see other people catch onto these key wraps.
Hey @FortNine ! I was really excited as it was one of those things that bugged me enough to care about it but not enough to try to solve it! But you don't ship to Europe! I've been following this channel since the hundred subs and this... This was the perfect way to show appreciation and get my money's worth! 😢
Can't justify shipping a piece of leather from one continent to another just to cover my keys while I ride my bike but I think it is a pretty cool product and I appreciate the effort to get financing from things that are unique and useful. I also appreciate that you encourage people not to buy just because we live in a capitalist world. Those things matter more than most people think. And it is part of what makes this channel awesome.
I block every gahdang ads on everything for decades. Who even watches/listen to them? They're all just annoying. BUT if F9 made them, I'll sure be watching! Good shit man!
Nice little invention! Solving a nearly non-existent problem, love it! After "losing" my stand-alone key by dropping it (finally finding it in the fork-guards after disassembling half the bike) I made a semi-braided paracord loop with plenty of knots to increase it's footprint, plus no rattling or scratches. I can feel it with gloves on and in a pants pocket, and I used paracord with reflective fibers woven in so if I drop it in the dark a sweep with a flashlight or headlamp will hopefully reveal it quickly. I have a mini carabiner on the waist adjuster of my jacket to hold it which I can get to without looking while I'm doing the helmet/glove dance. These chipped keys are good and bad, and losing one is bad on all sorts of levels.
Hey Ryan, I’m excited to have just ordered the key holder and the neck gaiter (it was out of stock the last time I tried)! Much respect to you, and your channel!
Omg, the burn on 44 (err, can't remember what version he is now). Brutal. I respect the integrity and effort in this video, while also laughing at the need for the product :P I can't be bothered to wash my bike more than 1x a year... I am not the target market for eliminating paint scritches! (Don't worry, the chain etc is all very well maintained. Which doesn't help the mess!)
1) That is a SWEET Silver Wing you've got there! I always thought Honda should've kept making it. Longitudinally-mounted liquid-cooled V-twin with shaft drive. The 650 was even properly tour-ready. Even way back then, Honda was integrating lights into the fairing. (having copied Vetter on that point, I believe...) 2) I really like this transparent, honest approach to merch. I don't really want to go around wearing a FortNine T-shirt and have to explain just what the hell it is, but something like this that is useful is a nice way to support the channel.
This is a huge problem for me since the time I started riding. For the reasons of scratches and jingle-jangle I have never owned a keyring. Thank you folks!
I was wearing my F9 gator on top of a 9000 ft mountain waiting to fly my paraglider and another pilot came up said 'good choice' we both geeked out over the channel. So it's not just motorheads that wear your gear.
Right when I got my first motorcycle I noticed this issue of the keys rattling around and potentially scratching my paint. My solution was to get a tiny carabiner clip and just remove my driving key when it's time to go. The other keys stay in my zippered pocket. I like this solution because one single key in the ignition doesn't move at all which means no distraction. The other keys are completely safe from falling out while on the road.
Hmm...watching this video made me think, "Why do we need to put our vehicle keys on a key chain in the first place?" For whatever reason, I am someone who has never put their car key or motorcycle key on a key chain. My house keys, work keys, other keys, etc. go on a single loop. But I never put my car or motorcycle keys on a chain. Thus no risk of scratching paint, or putting excess load where it doesn't need to be. But seriously...why do we need to put our vehicles keys on a key chain anyways? Truly a problem that does not need to exist... (Plus the bike looks MUCH cleaner without a key chain hanging off of it). BUT...I like your key holder. Tasteful. Nicely done.
Got my cousin in the US to order these for me as Amazon not delivering to India. He bought it and sent via USPS, only for Indian customs to assume it is a watch and charge me a steep duty which exceeded the cost of purchse and shipping fee! Have immersed myself in paperwork, hoping they'll reassess. Looking forward to wrapping my keys soon!
Keychain problem that barely exists? Ryan, it's the only problem I have; everything else is perfect. Now I'll say I'm never influenced by infomercials, but this video had me dropping Christmas gift hints a'plenty. I hope this product sells a mitt-full for you.
Glad someone else is this obsessive. Preferred solution: combo / pinpad lock on house / garage, etc. Moto key by itself, with a paracord loop for hanging if necessary. ZIPPER PULLS are another one. Easiest fix I've found: glue-lined heatshrink tubing over the pull, heat gun, and done. (non-glue-lined works OK too, but glue-lined is about double thickness so a bit more cushion.)
I love it! but unfortunately for you, I solved this problem for myself a few years ago. Car key fobs have gotten ridiculously too big so I have just begun to carry a separate key ring with a pocket clip on it dedicated to carrying a single key (to the vehicle of my choice for the day) along with the second key ring that hosts all the other keys (house, shop, safe, etc.). A perfect product to someone else's problem however. Keep up the great work. You are one of my favorite channels on RUclips by far.
If you don't think it will be useful please don't but it. "We all buy enough garbage in waiting this time of year.". Too true. I really love this channel. I hope your worldwide merch journey brings you on physical journeys the world over. If you need a photographer, let me know.
I always keep my bike key on a separate, heavy cotton key tag. Makes finding the key in my pocket simple, and the material tag doesn't damage the paint around the ignition (near my left knee(metric cruiser)). What I love about your approach though, other than deadpan delivery, dry wit, and sarcasm is the fact you tell people not to buy your merch just for the sake of having it, no matter the quality. That's the complete opposite of most (I hate this word) "influencers" who, in some cases can even go as far as trying to guilt you into buying their cheap, shitty merch. Hang on to that integrity mate. It's a rarity these days.
The most important feature of this channel has always been integrity.
Yeah like when he said CO2 accumulates in your face helmet so buy my neck gaitor

I don't need some kid telling me that. I just don't buy shit I don't need. And I do not need a stupid leather key holder thingy.

But he outsourced it to the US when it could have made in Canada at double the price.
Love that Ryan highlights how we buy unnecessary things! My motorcycle key is always on its own. I guess that's another way to solve the problem if you can
Most pockets will hold a loose key plus a key ring of keys
I have 4 keys: ignition (new cylinder), seat and tank (orig., in a sleeve), side boxes, top box. They sit and burnish the metal where they sit. It's not a problem. Nice fob; I'd use it if given, but I don't need it. I might make my own someday out of old ski base, though...
My key for bike is also always on its own with rubber key ring depicting bike logo. (Rubber to eliminate scratching the surrounds bike ignition area)
Me too.
That's the kind of obsession over a close to non-existent problem I respect.
Yeah, my motorcycle key lives alone because of this problem.
The simplest answer is often the best.
This is the way. I keep the little tag the dealer put on it and that is enough for me. It lives in my main jackets chest buttoned pocket. All my other bikes keys live in an old hotdog jar

What’s MTB
@@MarissaTheMuse Mountain Biking, if you look at recent videos, you'll see that has been the topic of a couple lately.
I was about to write something very similar, always fun to see where the visual and usually twisted joke will be...
Interesting, I always just had the motorcycle key separate from all the others. House key and others in the jacket pocket
Same here, one key ring per vehicle, this was never a problem.
But what if you want to drive your motorcycle into the house and up the stairs? What then? What then? Hmm? What then?
Same here. I don't like my Bikes to be scratched, so I keep my other keys separate.

Nice work on the keywrap!
No point in splitting the MTB channel. The team is awesome, and some variety to the channel is pretty dope.
Ah, you beat me to it. That's my solution.
Am I the only one that sees this idea of F9 is quite flawed? There is a metal snap button that will damage your triple clamp anyway...
One key with me when I ride, biometric and cell opened house and garage door openers.
@@Sj1bby Well, my side hustle is leather working. Flawed or not - they're getting $29 for something that has a cost of *maybe* $3-$5. I mean wow - I think I'm going to start making these things myself!
Add a small nighteyze double gate caribiner to pit the bike key on when not riding. Not an s biner though. Those drop keys in a minute.

I agree as entertaining but try not to waste money on gadgetry when there are simple solutions to simple problems. 5:18

Thanks so much mate. I just looked them up and definitely gonna try them out since we cant order Fortnine stuff to Australia anyways

You have no idea for how long I have been wanting to stop the keychain rattle. So glad to see this available.
Except velcro absolutely sucks and snaps are replaceable.
@@derpyderp6719Or a couple inches of det cord and forget about those keys forever.

Nice to see a useful product, from people who know how to think things through.
My son had one on his brand new scooter. I don't see how having an ignition that can be hacked without touching it provides extra security.
@@flechette3782 Adding a key to your Harley wouldn't make it any easier to steal.
@@aaronleverton4221 I meant that a keyless hard-to-start-becasue-it-is-kickstart-only is less easy to steal than a bike with an electric started and a key.
😂😂😂. Most of the time I just leave the key in it and cover it with my gloves.😂😂😂
Bought an identical product from Tale of Knives a couple months ago and have been loving it ever since! Always good to have more competition on the market, designs like this are true Quality of Life improvements.
My favorite channel for a reason. It's the little things.
bloody love the comedy Ryan can produce while still being more informative than most documentary's.
Yep! You are right.
Keyless ignition is amazing and solves the problem from the jump.
Also, the keychain @ 1:23 is hilarious...
The gore-tex sticker on it had me in stitches!
Did I just watch a 5 minute advertisement? Yes, Ryan F9 made it, so I’m watching every second of it.

this is one of the best solutions i've seen to this problem. i used to have a microfibre cloth in the windshield of my bike that i'll wedge below the keyhole of my bike every time i went out for a ride...
Essentially same here. I use the carabiner as the key ring, as fit is so tight it sticks up away from the yoke. No more bloody scratches.
Same but I don't use a carabiner. One set of keys goes everywhere, and each vehicle key comes along as needed or not needed

Knew it was a commercial and clicked to watch it anyway. That, there, is some quality content creation.
Hey @FortNine ! I was really excited as it was one of those things that bugged me enough to care about it but not enough to try to solve it! But you don't ship to Europe! Ryan the Jay Leno of motorcycle content.

Whoa, i got into 3d printing to make this exact item. Glad I checked your videos again, saved myself some time haha
Just a month ago I noticed the damage on my triple tree and have been trying to come up with the best solution. Great timing!
I block every gahdang ads on everything for decades. Who even watches/listen to them? They're all just annoying. BUT if F9 made them, I'll sure be watching! Good shit man!
Tis guy is smart, and this is simply the best motorcycle RUclips channel
(having copied Vetter on that point, I believe...)
2) I really like this transparent, honest approach to merch. I don't really want to go around wearing a FortNine T-shirt and have to explain just what the hell it is, but something like this that is useful is a nice way to support the channel.
That's awesome. It's refreshing so see a creator do something they can be proud of instead of grabbing the lowest hanging fruit.
This is a huge problem for me since the time I started riding.
For the reasons of scratches and jingle-jangle I have never owned a keyring.
Thank you folks!
this video is a perfect example of why I'll be a fortnine fan for life
Longest advert Ive watched for a while- but also the most enjoyable, :)
Hmm...watching this video made me think,
"Why do we need to put our vehicle keys on a key chain in the first place?"
For whatever reason, I am someone who has never put their car key or motorcycle key on a key chain.
Even when you are selling stuff, you do it in a classy, honest, unique way.🙂
I waited eagerly for a week to see an infomercial? Yessir, and I am not disappointed at all...
I love it! but unfortunately for you, I solved this problem for myself a few years ago.
The first RUclips I’ve seen that does American made merch 🙌🏻
