Don't let the haters hate. I've owned quite a few bad boy cars, over my life before making the switch to a 2020 Model 3 Performance. I came upon a dual motor 3 in my '19 Golf R at a red light. I looked at him and he nodded to which I put the car in launch mode and had that baby ready to smoke him. Boy was I wrong. After being smashed I test drove a Model3 the next day and bought the Performance the same day. I haven't looked back Do I miss the sounds and visceral thrashing you get from ICE cars? Absolutely! But with all things considered, nothing truly compares. I even bought a new 24 Model 3 Performance which is a HUGE improvement over my old 2020. Enjoy your badass car!

I am using tesla model 3 RWD for my daily and highly tuned Golf 8R for fun. Totally different cars but i really like them both.
@@piotrwozniak7840 Which car provides more FUN!?
@@speeddemonRS3more fun of course R golf but it has almost 500hp, many suspension mods> its like track spec. But many small issues this car is known for. Tesla is not much fun for spirited driving but for daily it is very nice, it has good audio, power is enough for the city driving, range is enough, its pretty cheap because i dont pay for electric energy, no services, no oil change etc- car is avalible 365days a year for daily driving. 50k km and pretty no issues.
@@piotrwozniak7840 I appreciate your feedback!👍
I remember trading in my 2018 TTRS that was my daily for 2 years, for a 2019 Tesla Model 3 Performance.
I never missed the Audi. The Tesla is an amazing daily driver but it can’t be your only “fun car”. Seems you have that perfect garage down!
2022 GT500 track pack + Model 3 Perf has been the perfect garage for *me.
That’s a great garage! Exactly, I feel I’d get bored if it was my only car but I love having the 2.
lol I traded my 2018 TTRS for a mk8R. That was 2 years ago
The GT500 will feel slow compared to the M3P. Except for a perfectly prepped track and a good driver, the M3P will destroy the GT500 on the ⅛ and ¼ mile drag. The new M3P is also a canyon carver, with instant torque and regenerative braking making a perfect set-up. The only negative I can think of is hard track use. The brakes could be improved for that use case, but isn’t an issue otherwise because they work great for normal usage.
I traded my rs3 for a m3p plan to get a 997 gt3 in a few years.
90% of people who hate Tesla are using the internet for facts.Go and drive one for yourself. Its not for everyone , but the latest Teslas are great cars, no better or worse than anything else in the road.
As someone who owns a Tesla, along with several other gas cars and a diesel truck... yea, it's hard to compare them. EV's are so damn good. Around town, autopilot or FSD on the highway, they are very hard to beat.
Dude congratulations I think you made a great choice. Are you going to buy the performance boost ?
They don't have a boost for 2024. If they come out with one, most likely not because it's a lease.
Nothing wrong with a more reliable vehicle, a cheaper to maintain vehicle, a vehicle that will last longer as well. Performance isn’t too far off, so not a bad decision tbh.
Thank you! And you’d be surprised! Stay tuned for the dragy vids.

Hopefully you are getting some sort of electricity discount, when you trade this one in eventually it won’t retain value like the rs3! After a year or two these model 3s go for less than half of msrp
I said that it’s a lease very early in the video. Resale value doesn’t matter to me.
@@JVette01 yeah that makes more sense then, what are your lease terms?
I will go over in a future video
They won’t depreciate like they are now, forever.
@@JVette01 Tesla doesn’t give equity to the returning lessees. You can negotiate the equity by “selling” most other leased cars when turning in.
i feel like a lot of people are forgetting you have an M2 sitting in the garage too😂 yea obviously an RS3 has way more character, and all that. But you’ve already got the sports car, and now you got the tesla as a solid/fun/fast daily. i get it. don’t know why everyone is freaking out 😂
Exactly!!
The model 3 is a great car as a daily, the torque can always put a smile on your face and the tech is incredible. RS3 is great too obviously but once you drive the Tesla you realize why people who own one love it and the people that have closed minds will always hate on them.
@@jamfamreptiles1286 Liked you comment a lot! I own an RS3 and appreciate you defending owning a Tesla without having to trash the RS3 while doing so...
Same. I sold my 8Y RS3 after 2 years. Bought a model 3 performance.
congrats!
Y’all make sure you thoroughly check your car for any limiting damage I found undercarriage damage under my car. I bought a 2024 model three.
Good point! I haven’t looked underneath
@@JVette01 yeah make sure you look and double check. I looked on either sides and I found damage so I don’t know if they damaged to get it off the delivery truck or when they took it to wash it at the car wash place I got mine from Pensacola, Florida, but it’s brand new so make sure you double check. I checked the front end under there. It was great but I didn’t think about checking the whole undercarriage of it and I did the other night and found damage.
I have a mk8R and a 2004 Honda CRV as my daily. Underrated combination!
Nice I got same one on lease. I don’t wanna buy a tesla because I don’t want to have the car more than 3 or 5 years and be out of warranty. I like to stay under warranty
Congrats I get exactly same car/colour in a few weeks. Coming from a 2019 M2 Competition (stage 2) and petrol head but these things just work and make sense
Congrats and a good one. The best part is you speak about the choices honestly, that makes sense whether or not we make the same choices. BTW, you don't have to apologize for Sun. it's alright.
Yes! Thank you!
Congrats!! I bought a used 2019 Model 3 Long range Dual Motor two years ago with accelerate boost included from Tesla and love the car. I owned many German cars and have to say the Tesla is my Favorite. The only downside is ride quality on my previous generation but they fixed that on newer ones.
Same mine is red I was hoping mine had the acceleration boost but it didn't but the previous owner already had the car tinted , put a wireless charger in it , ppf on the front bumper , and all the adapters for other EV chargers so it made up for it but even without the acceleration boost the car is pretty fast.
@allaround200 His M2 is 10x more fun to drive and has a much nicer interior and obviously nicer exterior, not to mention the incredible sounds it makes...😀
I was about to pull the trigger on one of these until I saw there were thousands of complaints about water and condensation soaking the air filters and getting moldy and causing the A/c to smell disgusting. One guy I saw had this happen in his 2024 after 1 month of ownership.
Hasn’t happened to mine yet so fingers crossed… however, I believe something like that would be covered under warranty anyway
@@JVette01 Hopefully you don't run into it. I just saw way too many comments online and videos about it to feel comfortable. I live in Texas where the air is very humid but people were saying it was happening to them even in dry Arizona climates. It may be covered under warranty but the only solution is to replace the filters and clean the A/C coils which is too much hassle to possibly have to do every 3 months or however often it happens since that's only a band aid rather than an actual solution to solve the problem. Shame because I really like the car.
I wouldn't let that scare you. I already know 4 of my colleagues that have the 2024 Model 3 and none have issues
I just leased a 2024 M3RWD for a daily . It's the best car I've ever owned.
Congrats!
I’m not a Tesla fan but enjoy it.
Congrats on the new car! For the ride quality, I think they've made a couple small tweaks compared to the first few refreshed model 3s that dropped 5-6 months ago. I also test drove an early refresh car and thought the ride quality wasn't amazing and it had a couple interior issues as well (mainly misaligned ambient lighting) which seems to have been fixed in yours. I would assume they've also tweaked the suspension over the past few months to make it better.
Possibly!
Glad you made the move and are loving it. I test drove the new 3p this Saturday and made me want to upgrade my old one, lol😂
It's a HUGE improvement over the pre-refresh. The interior quality and the M3P is much faster. The pre-refresh performance is actually no faster than mine after 0-60.
@@JVette01 Yes, that’s the biggest drawback of the pre refresh ones - power dying out too fast. For the new test drive cars, they had a speed limit of 85, so I was not able to test high speed rolls, but punch it from 40 to 85 really feels much better than the old one. And I can’t forget to mention is it is much quieter as well.
I'd say go for it! I would lease though because you lose less money in a lease than you would in depreciation if you were to sell it after 2-3 years. Also, you don't have to worry about qualifying for the tax credit.
@@JVette01Yeah, exactly. I learned my lesson hard way by buying Tesla back in 2021😅. I will definitely lease it if switching to new Teslas.
@JVette01 Do you think there's a 50% loss or more? I'm in Texas so we have to pay full tax on purchase price which sucks.
On a SG M3P I'd be looking at $802/month with 5k down for 15k/yr miles..that's almost 34k for 3yrs worth 😂

Nice! Good choice.
Great car….enjoy. It’s the future. What most young people want is an “appliance”, and not in a bad way. People just want something that gets them from point A to point B. My biggest complaint about electric cars is just look at young kids and cell phones…ask any kid what’s the current charge on their phone and they say it’s about at 10%. Kids never charge their phones until they go dead and then charge them to about 20% and they are good to go. I predict their electric cars will always be low, just charged for 10 minutes and good for 20 more miles. I can see them calling into work saying they’ll be late because they only have 10 miles range and work is 15 miles away. My son’s girlfriend has a Tesla and I’ve never seen it above 20% charge. They would rather stop and charge for 10 minutes every 20 miles than to charge their cars to full because it takes too long. I was a high school math teacher for 30 years and I spent a month recording everyone’s cell phones charge. The overall average charge was 18% for 150 students every day for a month. I predict their electric cars will be similar.
I do hope I’m wrong about the future.
Congrats for keeping your Tesla charged. I’m impressed.
As an oldster who grew up in the 1960’s, the sight and sound of a big block V8 making 8 mpg while spewing out tons of pollution was the greatest. The smell of leaded 100 octane gas at 25 cents per gallon was intoxicating. Those days are long gone. They have made it impossible to kill yourself from exhaust fumes. The fun is gone but I welcome the future…just keep those electric cars charged up to at least 80%. The batteries will last longer. For me, I’m on my 10th BMW M car. I won’t be switching to electric cars until they pull my dead fingers off the steering wheel of my internal combustion car.
Thanks for your input. Yes, my car is always charged. Going on almost 2 months of ownership and never been below 35%
I took delivery of my refreshed M3 LR in March and I absolutely love this car. It's ridiculously fast and puts a smile on my face every time I get to drive it
I can say even at 10 percent SOC it still goes fast , don't notice a difference in performance
It will be quick torque wise (like up to 40mph) but top end suffers drastically. I’ll eventually make a video on it. Congrats on your new car!
@@JVette01 people say that but I don't notice. When you passed that truck on the on ramp you ended up doing 92
When I test drove the car , when I went on the on ramp to see what would happen I literally went 125 !!! By the time I merged into middle lane I was like WTF ! It only felt like I was doing 80. 0-60 in 4.2 no one so far has beat me not even crotch rockets and yes I've raced several on the streets.
Ride quality improvement is probably from smaller rims.
This car vs a RS3 would be a great video , roll race and drag race 😅👀🧐
You’ll find out how it would be in the form of dragy
Congrats! It’s an awesome car!
Congratulations! Nice car!

Nothing unique or special about a Tesla. All the NPCs are driving them. But I get it. At least you still have a real car.👍🏼
@moochiezpitt I drive a Tesla. Am I just an NPC?
That's true, but the Daily doesn't necessarily need to be special.. I like how carefree the driving experience is without having to worry about brakes, gas, oil change, warming up the car, being able to start it in the garage, and other things.
U drive an auto your just as gay.
Do you have trouble adjusting the brakes regen feel with the M2?
Nope. For me it’s easy to adapt to both cars
I live in Vegas, were you able to get the tax credit. Also, can I ask how much you paid?
I leased, so I got a lease credit. For purchase, you have to fall in line with the income requirements. I made a video on this, just haven't posted yet. Stay tuned!
Man, I have no idea why people have brain rot. I just got my first car (Tesla) in the past 10 years and I absolutely will not be buying a oil car for the rest of my life, no matter if I stick to Tesla’s or not.

48k??? Im about to go pick mine up that was in inventory for 41k out the door for dual motor awd. Bro how did u pay that much?
It’s a lease.. and I’m talking about the price of the car before government rebate or discounts.
@@JVette01 I'm not sure why bring up a discount that's automatically applied at signing.
No it’s not if you don’t qualify for it. I don’t qualify for it. The lease doesn’t have any requirements, so I got a 7500 lease credit but it wasn’t the tax rebate the government gives if I were to buy it

Insurance is expensive for EVs!
EV are 39 times less likely to spontaneously combust compared to internal combustion cars.... This is data from the swedish government... I guess there is a reason there is a C in ICE
@@Fluterra That's not true at all. I'm paying $165/ month for mine. That's $500 on all deductibles and almost the highest options. My wife's '24 Rav4 Hybrid is more.
HOI doesn't require what car is parked in a garage. Why would they raise insurance because of a EV? If you're referring to fire, EV's catch fire LESS than ICE cars.
What’s your lease payment?
It will be gone over in a future video. They’re super cheap to lease now but when I bought mine it was higher
Is it a Better DD than the ultimate Golf R?
Hmm. That's tough.. This one is arguably better with more power/torque, no paying for gas, and more advanced technology. However, I'd still take my old Golf R over this.

I thoroughly disagree with you (I too have a 24 Highland, and previous owner of 4 BMW´s), IMHO the new M3 IS beautiful, well thought out, well shaped and well designed, so you may talk down your car as much as you (evidently) want. And I do not find the rims ugly either. Difficult to understand why you would want a car that is so un-pleasing to your eyes. Or are you just catering to the Tesla-haters? Teslas are not a luxury car. If you've ever owned and lived with a fully loaded, top trim luxury car, and go drive a tesla, it's a massive downgrade. Fit and finish is poor. Quality control is poor. Depreciation is 10x worse than any German luxury car. Ride quality and driving dynamics are gonna suck... Infotainment system is a serious downgrade in terms of intuitive functionality and user friendless.. The backup cameras and stuff on these cars absolutely suck, the camera angles and the way they're positioned is atrocious nor do you have backup lines when in reverse.. The list goes on and on. Teslas are cool cars that get you from point A to point B, but not on the same level as a luxury car and you're gonna lose alot of intuitive functionality that you would get on pretty much any other car.. At the end of the day, despite how much I hate about these cars, I still really want one to have as my daily driver around town. They're a really neat concept and awesome to drive. But I could only justify spending around $25k on one. Been thinking about picking one up fromt hertz for under $25k
You can get great lease deals on new ones it only makes sense.. and used you can get base ones pretty cheap too. And everything else you mentioned in regards to driving dynamics, camera, and infotainment couldn’t be further from the truth. It drives great, rides great, and the tech is extremely snappy.
It’s hella ugly too
😂
Model 3 is very good car, especially in it's price range.
Planning on a M3LR with FSD.
You are down grading on buttons and overloaded dash ;( Home charging will lock you in on Tesla.
Soon many of you MOFOs will be riding or driving a Tesla.
I like having options
Leasing is never a good thing
You most likely just don’t understand how it works
@@JVette01 how is it a good thing?
If you think this is a nice interior you haven’t been in a Mercedes lately.
Mercedes is a luxury brand so I’d expect the interior to be nicer.
You just compared an apple to a squirrels butthole. Get real.
You have a Tesla??? what a downgrade!! I know the insurance is high on that car but enjoy I guess. I'm sure you'll get rid of that too
@@Mr.Lambert777 I remember you bro and I completely agree 👍 I still have the B58 like you and my 24 RS3 and think he's crazy 🤪 Hope you're enjoying the bimmer still!
@@speeddemonRS3 hey man hope all is well! You enjoying your German cars? I love it ! The RS3 is sick ! I’m enjoying my B58 everyday. No regrets haha. I just ordered the new Infiniti Qx80 from my mother. She’s going to love it. Yeah , he’s probably not going to enjoy that Tesla much. It’s definitely a boring car. I like to hear engine n aggressive shifts. Total downgrade. I know of this guy who’s a car enthusiast, has a 18 m3 , 23 x3m40 , bought a Tesla performance..had it less than 6 months got rid of it bought the new corvette.
@Mr.Lambert777 Loving both, but the RS3 is phenomenal and lived up to its reputation! I'm glad to hear your car is still treating you well, and everything is going good 👍
@@speeddemonRS3 thanks man glad to hear you’re enjoying life an all! God Bless!
My M4 Competition blows this away over all metrics. You will hate this soon, nobody will watch these videos,
Congratulations! This car doesn’t compete with an m4 comp so idk why you’re comparing them. This is my daily. I have an 2024 m2 for fun drives and it’s just as fast as an m4 comp lmao ruclips.net/video/26cNTtokckU/видео.htmlsi=QQ_FYxBP8iYbWq4A
@@JVette01 You should start reviewing electric scooters next.
If I ever buy one, I will ;)
its not a 3p so skinny cheap tires , weak brakes but ofc you have REGEN, non adaptive SUSPENSION and worse tops out a little over 100 due to cheapo skinny tires - also you dont get the new COOL Seats CF or better STEREO etc but ok
They have to make the performance better to justify the price increase obviously. But for daily, it works great and handles for whatever I need on my commute to work
@@JVette01there ok ! jk - i had an LR when my HV battery was replaced - it was ok - still plenty quick
235/45/18 isn't a skinny tire lol. The brakes aren't racing brakes, but couple them with regen and they're more than enough. 125 mph is more than enough for a non-sports car.
@@Jo060 teach me please wise one since I own one of these cars number one the tires are terrible stock they're not speed rated number two the wheels are super heavy and bend easy on the non-P even on the old P they were terrible
the stock suspension is completely horrible now they did upgrade it for the 3P so it's improved but this does not have that but at the end of the day it's fine for a DD like you said
@@jeffufcfanaticrosenberg I struggled to read your comment...Absolutely terribly written. But, you asked me to "teach you", then ended your post by saying "it's fine like... you said"...so, it sounds like you're in agreeance with me. 🤣.
Regardless..here I go.
You say the tires aren't "speed rated". There is absolutely no such thing as a "speed rated" tires, however, tires are marked with SPEED RATINGS. With that being said, the OEM tires mounted on Tesla's supersede the needed speed.
The 18" tires are good for 186mph
The 19" tires are good for 168mph
The 20" tires are good for 186mph
All of which are WAY faster than the actual top speed of the vehicle.
To your second "point". Tires don't bend, they flex and that is by design. You DO NOT want a rigid tire.
So, you're basically arguing with yourself. You're trying to say that a vehicle made to drive day to day is perfect, but not meant for racing. Well, bub...a Semi is great for hauling heavy loads, but isn't good for racing. A Porsche 918 Spyder is great for racing, but not good for daily driving. EVERY car has it's purpose. You're implying that the Performance is made for hardcore autocross and track days. That's just a stupid mindset and incredibly wrong.
Consider yourself taught.

You change cars too much
Won’t be for a while. ;)
He can if he wants to 🤷🏽♂️
what a DOWNGRADE ! and I own a TESLA
100% agree as an RS3 owner!😅
Downgrade in price, I agree 🤣
@JVette01 your starting to sound like one of those crazy Tesla owners more and more by the minute man!!
How? 😂 many people (you included) hate on Tesla for no concrete reason other than emotional reasons.. and if it works for someone else, let them be. I didn’t like my rs3 but I’m not telling people not to buy one just because I didn’t like it. I already have a full video diving into a direct comparison to my rs3 so you’ll love that one ;) stay tuned
@JVette01 You're the one hurting your channel lol! I know that's not your concern, having bought this car, but you lost some subscribers and not going to get the views on the Tesla content like the other three cool cars you've recently owned!
worse handling ! slower for sure ! and charging BS but i herd range is better on the 24s
Not slower actually which is hilarious. But yes of course it’s not gonna handle like the rs3. It’s not a sports car
3 months max be honest like I told him about rs3
@JVette01 RS3 would be faster almost everywhere and handles 10x better! Dude in the comments that has a Tesla, even laughed at you and disagrees with your purchase!🤣 The Tesla you bought isn't the one to own if you're going to go that route!😂 Your RS3 ran like shit there and is a poor representation of the cars capabilities Lol
