Model 3 performance 2024 | live in California | 25k down | 1.99 Apr | monthly payment $420 | insurance annual $190 month | we have solar so off peak per kilowatt cost is .25¢ monthly charging cost $60 compared to $280 for gas | congrats on your success man, you have the best deals related channel on youtube.
Thanks for being transparent as well!
How is your insurance so low? It’s like 4k in Illinois
@@Joey_DiGs I live in California and have a model Y Tesla.. I pay $178 on insurance. I have Tesla insurance. If you have a Tesla and don’t have Tesla insurance, it’s a lot because other insurance companies don’t have access to Tesla car parts.
Pg&e? Where did you get 1.99%
@@asheetuglasse Tesla was running a 1.99% financing promotion which included the Model 3 Performance. However, you had to order and take delivery by Sept 30 so it has since ended. If super low interest rate is a non-negotiable for you, then you'll have to wait to see if Tesla does it again or see your other options.
If you can get a Tesla for a monthly price that is around same as you spend on gas then I say go for it.
@@RubberDicky I would also recommend leveraging all the discounts, incentives, and promos Tesla offers at the time cause with all of that, you can still get lower monthly payments without having to pay lots of interest on the loan. Some people will spend like $50k-$60k total buying some other car but then not realize a Tesla is cheaper and possibly lower interest rate cause of all the deals going on.
but don’t you have to pay for charging anyways? how much is that. i’m only a min into the video btw 😂
@@riptaiyocharging for me is like 90cents a day
Or, just keep the gas car since it's way better
@@riptaiyoI rented a Tesla to drive 2 states up north. 700 miles, 1500 total there and back, with some stops, only payed 93$ and some change. Super charging the whole time also
Thanks for being pretty transparent. Unfortunately, I have an awesome job and family, and $1000 a month is still too much with 70k salary.
Same bro. I make $112k excluding my wife’s salary. I could afford it, but I really like not having a car payment. Trying to save up $15k next year to put in a good down payment at least.
You can buy a used Tesla for like 20k… it’s still worth it.
@@Prod1jbtc 1099 write of my man. Gives you the $7,500 federal rebate regardless of income, plus your state rebate. Then the monthly 1099 write off. A 55K car turns into 35K. That's how I did mine for my 24 M3P.
$1000 car payment for a M3?! Jesus. My payment for a 25 MY is sub 400, with 0%. Always aim for 500-600 tops with insurance. This is with FSD.
@@gaber1807 its the performance model for his model 3, 25 MY for sub 400 sounds like the base model.
In Canada we can insure our Model Y for $1600 per year, which is about $1200 USD per year, $200 deductible and loss of use insurance. Cheap in Manitoba. And charging cost at home is $.07/Kwh (no matter the time of day). Both insurance and electricity are public utilities in Manitoba.
I just purchased my 2024 M3P a few weeks ago. I didn't know white interior was a free option but I've seen way too many posts about people who regret buying white seats in their Tesla due to spills or dye transfer from clothing that they cannot clean off so I chose black interior. You paid $500 less on the MSRP but I was able to take advantage of the 1.99% promotional finance rate. I think we both did very well given how nice the car is. I plan on keeping my car for at least 10 years so the annualized cost is pretty darn good, or I actually think it's a relative bargain considering the performance you get for the money. Thank you for disclosing all the details of your purchase, I think that's very helpful for those about to make the same purchase themselves.
Just found your channel a few weeks ago after I pulled the trigger on my 2024 MYLR. I have to say, out of the explosion of Tesla content creators that the algorithm shoved down my throat, your channel is hands down my favorite. Your delivery day checklist was easily worth the $5. Cheers
Yeah it sucks that his channel isn't pushed out more by the algorithm cause he's way more honest and realistic than all the other content creators. The other creators are trying to shove buying a Tesla down everyone's throats.
Car advice… buy a 2-4 year old Model 3 with a clean title and accident history. This will still be under warranty and will soak up the vast majority of depreciation. 2-4 year old models are usually easy to find in the 20-30k range. I’d also suggest not financing if at all possible.
I would suggest a Mercedes EQS which is soooo much nicer, a proper car
Fuck no@@TheFrewah
For people that are commenting my actual electric rate is 3-4x higher after fees. My entire bill last month was $132.18 after fees, taxes, everything. I used 1,429 kmh. 9.2 cents. Yes higher than 6 cents but not a crazy amount. Where you all living that charges insane fees????
Los Angeles. I am on free supercharging till next month. But my off hours charging at home is supposed to be .18 and supercharging is around .4 to .5. Gas is like 5+. Still worth it but not the same home rates you can get. 😊
Home rate is .14 here in Wisconsin and yes we have crazy fees on electric on top of the expensive rate, would love to get a tesla but I’ll probably have to get a used one.
Ga. Overnight advantage during super off peak is .2 - or close to .6 after taxes or fess.
KUB in Knoxville just south of you. The off peak rate really isn’t worth it here. The regular metered rate is about 10.5¢/kW. The off-peak is 9¢/kW and on peak is like 21¢ or 22¢/kW. Just that huge spike for on peak, my 3 story 5BR/3.5BA house would eat up the tiny savings I would get from charging off peak. All of KUB power comes from the TVA, so our power is cheap here too; mostly hydroelectric, nuclear, and a few coal plants left that they’re working on closing down over the next few years and converting to nuclear.
Edit: the house would eat up the difference because of the AC, or just running always on appliances like refrigerators, chargers, etc.. One slip up and running the dishwasher or dryer on peak would devour that 1.5¢ savings lol. Also, TN added a $200 EV tag fee that is scheduled to increase to like $275 in 2027 and then go up every year with inflation.
Damn I just paid 400$ for 1050 KWh usage.. 😢 also do you mind if I post my referral on here? lol trying to get some Free things 😂
My costs-
2024 M3P Stealth Gray on Black
$20k down
$460 per month at 72 months
$150 average per month insurance
$27 per month to charge at .12 per KWh
Thank you for a concise and relevant comment. This is more helpful than you may know.

I bought a brand new Toyota tundra truck in 2007 for 32k. It’s now at 120k on miles on it and had no car payments for 17 years😂. Just oil changes, tune ups and tire replacement/rotation😊. Battery was replaced once

what about gas expense? 1400 miles for $27 changed my mind. I understand why i see so many teslas daily. No oil change and filter.
@ If you don’t have solar panels you pay to charge it about 5 to 7k a year. My gas is about the same😉
I bought my 2019 SR3 for $16,500 (Tax credit already applied) on the Tesla Website used 60k miles. Only paying $263 per month. Very doable to find one used for a cheap price!

I found buying used saved me a hell of a lot on the end payment on a Model Y. Love it and recommended my friend who recently bought a Model 3 old style for dirt cheap
I'd never understand ev tax. They urge people to buy evs then realise that they are no longer making money, then tax people on what they've been urged to buy.
Welcome to the real world.. Governments around the globe don't care about environments or progression, just figuring out how to make a secure amount of bucks in the future
I went electric a year ago with my Benz EQS+. And man, I don't picture myself going gas again. I love that I no longer have to go to gas stations and spend over two hundred a month on gas. Home charging won't exceed $40. I get up, and my car is ready to go, plus low maintenance. I just got notified by Mercedes that starting in February, I will be able to charge in Tesla Supercharge. That will make long trips easier. Even though I rarely travel far.
Really good and informative video. I’ve had a Tesla since 2015 and this is spot on. Also, from a TV newscaster myself, nice natural narration
probably the firs time i see a streamer/youtuber telling how much they make, huge props
1.99 financing 5k down I’ll end up paying 2,200 in finance charge over six years.
I got in at a great time and am super lucky to have the highland 3 performance. It’s a rocket and I’m saving about $160 a month in gas. I drive 40 miles minimum five days a week. I’ve always driven performance cars that require 93 fuel.
It’s an expensive car to own but for the performance it brings it’s quite honestly the best value of any sports car I’ve ever had.

I have purchased multiple Tesstuff products and absolutely love them! Thank you for making such great Tesla accessories!
Just discovered you as I've been debating getting one of these, thanks for the transparency on what its like owning one 💯
Unfortunately Tesla's 1.99% financing promo just ended on Oct 1st for 3 and Y. I would prob wait until Tesla announces another financing promo if you're thinking of getting one. The Y might get better incentives/promos though so if you wanted a 3 Perf, it'll prob be more expensive.
In around 2000 we payed off our Ford Escort. We thought we had been budgeting around that payment so lets keep on. Used a different bank ( out of site out of mind). Next 3 vehicles have been cash although we upped how much we put aside ( inflation). Works well. Tesla is wonderful, but in November our GMC truck cost us $3000. It is a 2014. Just encouraging everyone to plan ahead.
I waited and bought a 2021 MS plaid last month with FSD and extended warranty with 4K miles for $59k with $1500 delivery in the price. I didn’t get any tax credits either. I pay $1k a month for mine financed. Insurance runs me about $300.
Impressive revenue! I’ve been doing RUclips full time for 7 years and currently make between $30k and $45k a month. FB brings in another $7-12k a month. I also try not to include many sponsors on my channel. I like keeping it mostly just me and my own content. Great video!
@AutoAuctionRebuilds ima have to grind for 3 years to get my model Y. Hearing you guys make that much makes me envious haha. Good stuff though 🎉

Thank you for breaking down the cost for owning a Tesla. I am 61 and I wondered about the monthly costs for charging. All things being equal if I drove a Tesla completely paid off I would save $170 over my Chevy Equinox in gas costs per month. Great video 👍
I think it's important to stick to stocks that are immune to economic policies. AI stocks that have the potential to power and transform future technologies. It seems AI is the trajectory most companies are taking, including even established FAANG companies. Maybe there are other recommendations?
I bought into NVIDIA around September last year because my financial advisor recommended it to me. She said the company is selling shovels in a gold rush. It accounted for almost 80% of my market return this year.

20% is wayyyyyy better than 50-60%. I don’t know who’s complaining about 20% as of right now until I can start an online business I only make around 30,000 a year with a 9-5 so definitely not enough for a Tesla unless I was living somewhere rent free and even then it would still be too expensive. I would say if you make 6k a month and you don’t have kids or a significant other and only live by yourself it’s definitely easily double depending on what living situation you choose.
Concerning you giving advice to people who are older than you, I am 63 years old and I welcome your advice! Keep on keeping on.
He said $28 dollars for a fillup for fuel. I just filled up last night for one week worth commute for $110 bucks 🤣💀
He also said 6 cents per kilowatt hours, where for us it's about 35 cents. I assume you live in communist California like me. I've looked into the math and a hybrid is the most cost effective option for people who live in expensive states
What it really costs to lease a $216 (or $199) per month Tesla ( True for other brands as well but the disconnect is not to this extent) :
Model 3 RWD Lease: $216 per month advertised.
+$83 per month "Gas savings"
+$22 for a 12K lease.
+$36 for "include tax & fees"
+$136 prorated "due at signing" ( sales tax included?)
=$493 per month due as car payment.
+??Amount due at lease end.
+~$150 insurance
+-$100 "propery Tax" ( yes, this is real in many places)
+ $15 "Alternative fuel" tax & registration.
= About $750 per month.
Plus tires, charging, minor maintenance and anything due at lease end.
I Pay 204 a month for mine without about 25$ in charging a month. I don’t pay utilities at the I’m renting house. So the majority of my driving is cost of 0 electricity but sometimes I need to supercharge. Mine is 2020 model 3 rear wheel drive got it used.
You sound like a little kid, there's no Tesla for 204 a month and 25.00 a month is nothing and if you don't pay anything while you're at renting a house you're a mooch. You sound like a gay
3 years owned model y performance. So far, 5.4k on tires(Including winters 20" rims&tire) replace 21" with brand new Michelin tires within 2.5 years. Total spent as of 3 year mark, 6k maintenance(including detailings) and I only charge at home, so its about 1k. Total spent around 7k so far in 3 years.
I was out yesterday getting a bite to eat and found a Tesla Supercharger station and 2 try-me vehicles. 1 was the 2024 M3, and the other was the 2023 model Y. That M3 was so pretty, deep blue metallic. I don't own one yet, but that I could see parked in my yard.
I’ll break down my cost. 2024 Model Y Performance. Cost was 58k including taxes etc. Got the $7500 tax credit. Traded in my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 70k miles to Carmax for 15k (Tesla only offered 11k). Put 5k cash down (20k total) so financed about 30-31k…got the 1.9 percent apr promotion so my payment is $451 per month. It cost me about $375 to install the charger in my home (house built in 2019). Car insurance is the big one. I’m with progressive. I don’t have the exact number but…i pay $250 per month for the Tesla and a Hyundai sonata. 6 month premium $1500…the premium was $900 before with the same sonata and the Jeep…so a significant jump there. Supercharging costs me about $12-$17 depending on how low I drive the car down to. Charging at home is about $4-$6 each time. I charge probably 3x a week give or take. Electric bill has gone up about $30-$50 give or take. I’ve driven a lot though! I have about 3200 miles and it’s been slightly over 2 months. (I don’t even have a commute since I work from home lol). Oh and I pay the $99 per month for fsd. Paid the $99 one time for premium connectivity for the year.
What time do you go for supercharging
@@bahutoopa1190 it’s usually in the morning like 10-11am ish. I don’t do it often and technically don’t need to do it. For example today, I took my toddler out for breakfast like 45 mins away. Had 37 percent left. Plenty to get home with, but supercharger is in the same parking lot so I charged up to 80 for the hell of it.
@@appletech9535 ahhh. Thank you! Unfortunately I am not allowed to install chargers at home due to being a rented townhouse. So I just wanted to know how is it like. Here in New Jersey its about $0.35-0.45 /kW
@@bahutoopa1190 yeah I paid about 41cent per
Kilowatt today I believe. If I was just on superchargers alone, it depends on what car you’re coming from as far as savings. For me, my Jeep had 22 gallons of gas so it was easily over $60 to fill up to go 300-350 miles. Supercharger would be about $15-$20 so it’s still worth it. My wife’s sonata hybrid I’m jealous over. $30 to fill up and it goes close to 500 miles…pretty damn good.

dude you're awesome, i just subscribed just because of how transparent you were and the amount of info you shared.
I leased a model 3 last year. I paid $1,200 down and I pay 330 a month (12k for 3 years) the reason the down payment was so low is because NJ doesn’t charge sales tax on EVs and they give 4k towards EVs so all in all I got an amazing deal.
Hey I’m in nj and trying to buy a Tesla wasn’t aware that we don’t pay sale tax on ev if that also for financial?
@ in NJ sales tax for EVs started in Oct 1st so you just missed it however it’s still only 3.3% vs 6.6%. (It will go up to 6.6%, in June)
The $4k NJ tax credit that I got is also over however there is a $2k tax credit.
I just got Tesla model 3 Performance in quicksilver. $511 a month. I opted for the 36 month lease. When I did the math it was the better deal, Tesla agreed. There’s the option to buy out the car at the end as well if I want. I had a 2016 Jeep I got $11,000 trade in value for from Tesla. It covered the $2,999 down payment and other taxes and fees equaling $8,400. They applied the other credits to reduce my monthly payments. If I bought the Tesla model 3 performance it doesn’t qualify for the $7,500 tax credit as it’s above the $55,000 MSRP limit for the tax refund. Also, my complex has free EV charging!
Wow, financing $40,000 for six years is just insane. You are going to pay nearly $8000.00 interest to finance $40,000. That's just burning money. That's approximately a 15% increase in the car price. That's a lot of money to invest in a car. You were smart to pay off your loan.
I just drove to CA for a funeral. I drove approximately 900 miles and it cost around $100.00. So, it was a lot cheaper than driving a standard ICE car. However, if you compare it to a Toyota Camry hybrid, which gets 51 mpg, it works out to about the same cost.
I just sighed a 6 year loan too, but at their 1.99% promotional rate
@@beansRuns A 1.99% rate is much more reasonable. If you charge at home, you will probably save a significant amount of money on gas alone. So, 1.99% makes more financial sense. I own a 2022 Model 3, and it costs me $7.75 to charge it from 0 -100%. I also own a Toyota Tacoma and it costs me around $70.00 to fill up its 22 gallon gas tank. I can go about 250 miles on that 22 gallon tank, which is about the same range I get on with my Model 3 for one charge in city driving. So am saving $62..25 every time I drive 250 miles in my Model 3 compared to my Toyota Tacoma.
@@franklong6269Your Tacoma gets 12 mpg? Do you only do city driving? I know it's a truck but damn, not even 18 mpg combined?
@@Lawlsforlawls My Tacoma is a 2009 4-wheel drive double-cab. It gets about 250 - 270 miles on a tank of gas in the city. I am not sure what it gets on the highway now, but it wouldn't be over 17 mpg for sure. Probably closer to 15 mpg on the highway. It has 234,000 miles on it and I just replaced the suspension. However, I think that the truck just was not as efficient as when it was new. But even when it was new, I would only get around 20 mpg on the highway.
As the truck has aged, its gas mileage in the city has plummeted. I have upgraded the plugs and checked its specs and it is running correctly. I think that some of the sensors have aged and it is burning more gas because of that. However, when I took it for the emissions test, it ran very clean. So it runs good but I have lost about 3 mpg in gas efficiency.
Yea my $18k NIRO I bought in 2020 gets 50 mpg.
Used hybrid vehicles are a way better deal then buying a newer EV
you are right about insurance. I’m an agent. I always recommend you have high deductibles. Insurance companies know how to rig the system to win. The less you pay them the better off you are. But also recommend high liability limits. People like to sue each other and that protects you.
Tesla costs about any average car. $50k seems to be the norm even for some higher trimmed Kias.
Great point!!
chad for giving us real world numbers. much appreciated my guy, heavily considering buying a model 3. tired of paying so much for gas and I only have a v6
I bought a 2004 Buick with 63,000 miles for $1,000. I put on new tires, brakes and shocks. Another $1,400. Total with a first class detailing was $2,600. Car runs and drives like new. Beautiful Interstate vehicle, safe and very quiet.
Insurance is $89 a month. Gas is around $120 a month for 1,000 miles average. Sooo, a total of $200 a month driving 1,000 a month with 480 mile range. Zero depreciation. Tax $80 a year.
I looked into buying a Model 3. The payment was $478, not counting much more expensive tax, and insurance. Electricity would be about $35 with my routes.
So, after careful consideration it does not appear EV is a good option.
This is great for you, the only downside is you drive a 2004 Buick
@@willyromney Comfortable, quiet, safe, over 500 mile range, nice sound system, reliable, no car payment, inexpensive insurance.
Hahaha. I purchased a 2000 Buick Lesabre with 214k kms. Paid $700 CAD $54 for a window regulator and motor, $400 for new tyres. Drives like a dream, no dash lights cheap to run, insurance great fuel economy.
@willyromney shows you don't know much. Great reliability, no car payment, parts are cheap, great fuel economy.
Yeah you still drive an 04 Buick at the end of the day no matter how appealing you try and make it , it’s still an 04 Buick my guy lol

you lost me at $600/month, car payment. On another note, nice looking car
It helps that he brings home 20k a month
It depends on your driving needs. We spend about 200 bucks on gas for our Ford Explorer. We have solar at home so charging a Tesla will pretty much be free. So our payment feels like 400 on a 2024 Tesla Model Y AWD. Not a bad deal at all! Oh and insurance is pretty much a wash since taking the explorer out and getting Tesla insurance won’t hurt at all.
Cool you’re so transparent, I’m looking at buying a Tesla model 3 refresh next year. Would love to learn more about the car - keep up the informational vids ❤

I live in LA Ca, and I use supercharger most of the time. It's still way cheaper than gas. My cars full tank is around $60. I usually use supercharger after 11pm, and it only cost between .26 to .35 cents. I would say I spend less than $15 per charge to reach 80-85%

These cars only last for about 5 years don’t buy one unless you are okay with another after
Plenty of 2014s on the road today
@@MadisonFalcoFoods they get like half the mileage tho. You can tune up an old car for cheap. But can’t replace the harmful environmental batteries for cheap

We just placed an order yesterday for a M3LR. Our monthly, estimated, is like $1005 lol. We did the 0% APR and only way to get that is to do the 36 month financing option, $7500 tax credit, used a referral code which got us $500 off, we also got the Ultra Red + White interior which cost us extra ($2000 for the ultra red, $1000 for the white interior) - The monthly is A LOT, but we're paying $0 for interest. I kept urging my husband to just pay the car off so that we don't have to pay for full coverage (which for us is about 170 a month), but I think we're just going to put more towards the payment to get it paid off faster.. so we don't have to pay so much for full coverage. But that's our experience! We're likely going to get the 2025 year since I know they're already giving vins for that year (although there's no difference between 2024 and 2025, just the number)
First time watching a video of yours (recommended to me on the yt homepage) and I gotta say, i really enjoyed your delivery and honesty. Felt like a conversation with a friend as opposed to somebody trying to sell me something.
I’m in Northern California and gas just dropped to $3.99 here for Premium. Supercharger cost by me is $0.60. Home charging is $0.32 off peak, and $0.62 on peak. $0.06 is disgusting. 🤮
Big respect brother, more people like you.
Tesla’s depreciation s crazy , for example, the Plaid over $100,000 when it came out two years later, you can get them for 60,000 or $50,000, definitely just wait a couple of years to get the Tesla that you want on the used market
Others, however, have said that they have had to buy new rims when the rims have been damaged or new tires when the tires have broken. and then it had specifically applied to the big rims. the tires on them may not hold up against the pot holes and other things
I’ve got a lease for 346$ a month for an awd model 3 15k miles a year. Was able to get the WA rebate and federal rebate which made the price per month crazy good
Got the quicksilver and the premium white interior
Living in NYC, insurance cost starts at 500$ a month with huge deductible and up to 1000$ a month for good insurance. Many insurance companies do not provide coverage for Tesla. I drive combustion engine SUV and paying around 200$/month for premium gas and another 200$ for insurance. Deprecation cost is higher for Tesla. I love Tesla cars but can’t afford it in NY.😢
Im not interested in a Tesla but i was curious to see what the charging cost break down was. You gave very good insight on analytical data with the vehical and your profits as a content creator, loved the video!
Thanks for a well laid out video. If you compare this cost with a traditional gas-powered Toyota Camry or Honda Accord, you are paying at least 50% more per month for this EV. However, you can easily afford it and enjoy it. Best wishes!
Went the cheapest RWD model as a lease and got QS free plus white seats by switching to a inventory model. It costs a few hundred a month more than I was paying for a paid for car with 200k miles that was about to die... BTW if you don't factor in gas savings the full cost is about 6% income.
Get a used 2020-2022 Model 3 around $20-25k standard range, 30-40% downpayment, 5-6 years. Ur monthlies not including tax rebates will be $200-350
I have the 2024 Model 3 standard range RWD and it costs me about $420/month (lease payment, default Tesla insurance, charging) here in NV.

They literally just won’t work? Or it is difficult for you to hit them under stress?
Damn, I had no clue model 3s were so expensive. Although it is brand new and the Y Performance I bought was a 2023 with 17,000 miles on it so decidedly not brand new but it cost less than the 3 which is shocking to me. I thought the model 3 was supposed to be the "budget friendly" tesla, I had no clue they were that pricey. That wasn't a dig btw, I'm genuinely surprised.
I didn't finance it though, but I do exclusively use supercharging which is about $35 give or take which because I live in California is DEFINITELY cheaper than gas. My 01 civic with it's tiny little 13 gallon tank costs nearly $60 to fill.
Edit: I will never get rid of that civic, she has been with me thru thick & thin but damnit if California doesn't rip you off at the pump.
I really want to get model 3 LR Rwd but the the only problem i have is interest since i am muslim i can’t pay any interest at all and i am praying and hoping to get 0apr i mean in uk they had 0apr 😅
Why can’t you pay interest?
@@Joey_DiGs Muslims are not permitted to pay interest. I took a course at university. They wait for 0% interest or roll the interest into the car loan and get zero interest. They have special banks/financing as well, I'd think service charges, rolling the interest into the loan, etc MIGHT be the work around.

I just traded in my old Model 3. The Lease is so cheap now it's crazy. Monthly is $300, total cost for 3 years is 14k. My old model 3 lost 22k in value in time period. Lease is better deal right now imo.
Thank you for being so transparent about everything!
6 cents per Kwh...well, that is the dream cost if you can get it...But here in Socal, it's just a pipe dream...with average electricity (off peak hours - whether SDGE or SCE) ranging between .25 to .35 cents. Still no complaints, way cheaper than gas even though gas prices are below $4 dollars due to current lower crude prices. Another cost you have to take into consideration is ev resale value...as most know that ev's have steep depreciation (first 3 years) compared to Toyota/Honda ICE vehicles.
I did the math on my car. Bought new in 2004 for 15k. 20 years later with hair under 300k, I'm still driving it. Cost me 45k so far for twenty years with price of car. Gas obviously is the majority of that, around 26k but probably less as gas was cheaper in 04 so that's based on 2.99 average a gallon. Maintenance is rolled in there as well. Not bad. Cost me next to nothing really to run. Buy one car and make it last.
I can believe how much money goes out on insurances for health/car/home/contents in the US per year ! Wow.
I just turned 45 and I’m slightly offended at the “been driving for 30 years” comment lol😂jk
Im 24 and pay $100 a month for a model x plaid using teslas insurance. My Car payment is $800 but i get free work charging. Only maintenance ive had to do is tires. 1k a month total for a 7 seater 9 sec suv cant be beat
Love all your content. Appreciate your transparency.
If you plan on getting a tesla for commuting for work, I highly recommend you make sure you have some sort of charging station at work(also at a good cost per kwh), if not i will its not worth getting it. It makes a huge differences while you can charge when at work. I also have the level 2 charging at home and had to change my pge plan to the ev home charge(here in bay area California, off peak hours is .31c from midnight to 3pm) at my work is about .20c for 4 hrs anything after 4 hours is about extra 2$ so im mindful.
