I drive a highland model 3 standard range. I got rear ended and the built in dashcam got it all on video. Guy who hit me was nice and all, but the video made it super cut and dry for insurance who’s at fault. Never thought id need it but man do I love the tech in Teslas
Everyone seems to be catching on to this now. I put 18 inch wheels on my 2024 M3P and am averaging 221/ Wh/mi over the past 1,900 miles. That’s almost 355 miles to a full charge. As much I as I enjoy the performance of the car, I enjoy getting the most efficiency out of even more. Call me crazy, but I’m actually considering trading it in on a long range rwd since I’m not driving it how it was intended. Btw, love the humor in your vids (literally feel like I’m watching myself) and was cool to see you on the latest “out of spec” vid. Looking forward to that series.
By the way I swapped out the stock wheels for t-sport Line 18-in Wheels with a square setup 235 all the way around. Just got back from driving from North Georgia to Boca Chica and back a round trip of over 2000 miles. My average consumption over 12,000 MI has been 242 Watt hours per mile which implies if I were to use the entire battery of 82 kilowatts arrange of 328 MI. And the t-sport Line Wheels ticket cost mean anything because I sold the stock wheels for more than the t-sport line wheel and tires cost. As far as comfort, it's firm but I like a firm car I've driven Porsche BMW Mercedes, mini sports cars over the years, the ride is very comfortable for daily driving. My biggest complaint with the car is that the brakes aren't really up to truly spirited driving I caught them on fire inside of a minute of 10 10ths driving. But for daily driving it is perfectly adequate if I were going to track the car I would be working on getting more air to the rotors and possibly different rotors entirely. People complain endlessly about the lack of stocks I think that's a red herring from people who have never actually driven the car, that has been zero issue it took me less than an hour to adjust my muscle memory.
Very sharp looking vehicle. But, the staggered wheel sizes, no steering wheel stalks, and low step in height made the Model Y with 19" wheels a better choice for me. I've tested FSD for a few minutes and it is not my cup of tea. Stresses me more to worry about the computer screwing up than for me to just drive the vehicle myself.
Overall a great car - I still have my 2018 M3awdLR and love it. But the turn signals? Left/right function arranged up & down? Kinda dumb. Great review as always 😎
Thanks for the video - lots of potholes in Northern California Thinking to sell the wheels immediately after buying - recommend forged 18” known to fit these new bigger performance brakes? Seen any method to remove the plastic covers without damaging the wheels?
I have wheels ordered so there will be a video on this soon and I am also making a video on how to not scratch your wheels when removing plastic covers.

When Gjeebs says “if you can afford it,” just call me broke already 😭😭
bruh the title 💀 it’s literally a family sedan made for daily driving 😂
Best car and punches way above it’s weight. The over the air updates also make the car feel refreshing.

I will be posting my own version of that series as well which I am excited about. it was a crazy trip
That ultra red M3P combo is just beautiful 👌
Bought the same version everywhere I go people talk about the color
Yep. Been dailying it since July. Drove from North Georgia to Boca Chica and back. FSD all the way.

@@thebarkingmouse We are not allowed to change those. The law says: No. Here in Europe. That's why i buy Long Range instead.

Really want to upgrade to this from my 2022 Model 3 LR… it’s such a crazy value
Never skip leg day people, never.
I love mine. But damnit - I envy your white interior! I just couldn’t justify the extra cost, plus losing the $7,500 tax incentive.
Gjeebs is the bomb!
Only issue i see are constant tires/brakes change and the duct tape build quality.
Better than Ford, Stellantis or GM. What do you expect? Tesla Berlin Quality? Not for you.
The build quality is great now on the new Model 3's and I barely use the brakes because of regen

Clean the screen!
I seen you on OUTOFSPEC video about the i90 challenge, Are you planning a video of that trip too?
Yes I am editing that right now
Was thinking about an M3P and second guessing myself, but I’m going to keep my Taycan order.
Take one for a test drive
Told myself I’ll get the LR AWD, first 15 seconds “get the performance” lol
I have been for 3 years!
2-3 year old model S LR for daily is the ultimate
I agree. 22+ for under 50k is such a good deal
I daily my M3P.
state farm did us dirty removing all chargers from their parking decks this will be an excuse for all places to remove their destination chargers
You seem to stay away from the S and X. I'd love to see a review of a "base" Model S. You know... the one that does 0-60 in 3.1 seconds.
Yea I just don't own either of them but I'd like to get a used S
@@Gjeebs Definitely plenty of good used ones out there. Really enjoying my Model Y.
Man this video was perfect but you’re using dark mode now. 😢
Omg I love this😂
In America do you guys have roundabouts? I think this on wheel turn signal is useless when going through one, or even multiple...
Yea we have them but they aren't common
Pretty sure the stock 18" wheels won't fit over the brakes.
Model 3 Performance highland or a Model Y performance ?
Depends if you need the space or not
love your content but really the question is daft, you might as well say can you daily drive a car ….
Please don’t shill for Elon. He’s horrific. He’s gone all in for a fascist.
Lot 🦎.
Sir, I couldn’t agree more with your comparison between Benjamin Franklin and Musk 👍🏽
Sup gjeebs nice vid. Also you need some trenbolone
Why do you keep those plastic caps in your wheels?
