[GBFR] Cagliostro Basic Combo Damage Comparison on Large Targets

  • This comparison is most useful on large enemies (ex: Dragons, Proto Bahamut's head at the right angle, ice wolf). XYY values are also consistent on long enemies like the elemental-diles. XXYY values are consistent on enemies you can get under and hit all their parts, like the Tayu robot.
    No skill usage. Dragon was closest thing to a large training dummy. Gear setup just for comparison purposes. Used damage caps so differences are magnified. XYYHold is almost as good as XYY. Does ~95% dps and generates ~85% sba compared to XYY, with the benefit of not destroying your mouse/wrist.
    Additionally, XXYYHold and XXXYYYHold does roughly the same damage when everything goes well, but it is easier to miss the latter because of longer setup.
    Averaging out a few more runs, assuming XYY does 100 dps:
    XXYYHold does ~76 dps
    XXXYYHold does ~73dps
    XXXXYYHold does ~65dps
    All tested on the dragon in vid.
    With some more testing it feels like Cagliostro's saws and hammers don't scale with boss size. Their dps is roughly the same on all sizes.
    For SBA gen:
    XYY - 100% in ~41s
    XXYYHold - 100% in ~57s
    XXXYYHold - 100% in ~65s
    XXXXYYHold - 100% in ~58s
    This will change with skill usage, however I imagine the gap between XYY and the others will only widen due to being able to use pain train more often compared to the others. XXXYY may also overtake XXXYYHold due to more skill usages.
