the devs really pull off one of the most accurate depictions for the Monkey King in here. there's reason why buddha himself is the only that's able to seal him
I’m pretty certain, there’s at least a dozen other who could have seal him, it’s just that Buddhism is the main theme of the story, that’s why Buddha got the limelight lol.

However, if it was based on Chinese mythology, there’s at least dozen of other who was stronger than Buddha and at least 2 other beside the jade emperor who could have dealt with Wu Kong right there and then.

Finally an official gameplay footage with Engdub. The performance is not optimized as reviews said but the graphic is still great just like the trailer and the Engdub is not too bad at all but still feel a little weird.

Yes, and for good reason. Last time, Wukong proved to be impossible to kill or contain, even with the equipment they had that was supposed to work on immortals. He was about to force the Jade Emperor to abdicate when Buddha showed up to stop him.
The main reason why he cannot be kill is he erased his name from the record in underworld so the only way to stop him either seal him or shatter his soul

Man. I'm usually not a fan of English dubs in Asian games but Wukong has such a fun and unique voice. Idk. To me as a non native speaker EN voices usually sound like there are 10 Hollywood actors voicing the same characters and it always sounds so similar. But this is so dope
