Totally agree Ruddy, I have Live at Montreux 1986 and Eric Clapton and Friends Live 1986 on dvd both great concert performances from these guys. Greg and Nathan add a magic touch to the sound with Phil's wonderful drumming and fill patterns. I love Clapton's guitar tone and guitar chorus effects he uses in this period. 👍

To tom scott. I know what you mean. There are a lot of old school traditional blues performers that i i new and watched them pass away. There are not alot of people trying to emmulate them. It is very depressing to me. Eric clapton is trying to keep the blues alive. Knowing what i know and heard, there are enough blues people to keep it alive. So i have assume that there is a asserted effort to burry the blues.
Hey everybody, I saw the movie last night on a huge screen in a new theater in Scottsdale, AZ and the movie is just great, with alot of fantastic songs played in different settings, with the large orchestra, his large band with horns, the blues set with Buddy and Albert, and then just the 3 guys and Eric, but Phil Collins should not be part of this as his style is just old pop music, bring in Steve Gadd. But the hits are there with a few surprises. Find the movie playing in a repeat schedule and pay the 15 dollars as it was very nice to hear Eric and everybody as loud as it can be in a movie. You will have a good 2 hours listening to the best. Enjoy and have fun. .
