Sales is in all aspects of human interaction. It's a skill that schools should have taught.
Dating is a lot like sales.
    - Outbound = Approaching Girls On The Street
    - Inbound = Dates
    - Lead Generation = Getting Phone Numbers

    • @zacharyzapata1454
      @zacharyzapata1454 4 года назад +6

Good analogy Alex. There are also many aspects in sales that are very similar to just being an attractive person in general.
      Not being needy.
      Being secure within your purpose.
And so on. These traits radiate a certain “energy” that people will naturally gravitate towards. This applies especially to men.

He comes across genuine and confident at the same time. The best "sales delivery emotion" I've yet to see in any of the famous "sales hype gurus" so far, or even in the "trustworthy sales gurus". So many come across too cocky, too prideful, and fake, even if just a bit. I love going through each of the snippets on youtube just to learn the delivery! He uses the Sandler Method by the way.

    Dear Dan,
    Your job is highly appreciated.
In a former video you mention your genius is in client selection.
    I confirm it's crucial.
    Buyer-in-heat is the goal.
But they can be easily mistaken for Lookie-Loos and Cheap-Jims.
Could you please make a (clients say:) video where you lead the client
politely and step-by-step on the sales funnel on phone by
    1) asking them smart questions
    2) giving them value-value-value answers
    3) and the core: - HOW - you pinpoint early if he is (can be) a Real Buyer
or an enthusiastic Lookie-Loo / an "accidental" Cheap-Jim?
    Keyword: - Early.
In order to avoid wasting time for them.
    Thank you in advance :)

Dan has really helped me a lot. Dan has helped me stand up for myself, even to him. I've done sales I hate sales it's not my profession. Sales is not the only competitive industry, but it is the most unstable. Interpreting, my field, very competitive. Working from home lots of distractions, need a complete social media detox. There's more to life than reputation money & "winning"/getting your way. Make yourself happy. You should be your priority.

Use your unique perspective as a salesperson to offer value to prospects. Instead of pitching your product or service, the best way to start a conversation in sales is to create more value. When prospects see that you know what's going on in their sector or industry, you're going to come off as THE expert
