T.E. Lawrence (aka Lawrence of Arabia) was a british officer who had the mission to lead the Arab tibes against the Ottoman (Turkish) Empire. The Ottomans were allies of Germany in WW1.Oh, Indy Neidell who played Lawrence in this video is the host of the videos on the Sabaton History Channel.

Great reaction! You and Sarah really need to react to “Night Witches” by Sabaton. The song tells the story of the extremely courageous young female Russian bomber pilots of the 588th Regiment of the Soviet Air Force during World War 2. They flew in canvas bi-planes and attacked the Germans relentlessly throughout the War. The Germans were so afraid of them that they called them “The Nachthexen” or Night Witches. Be sure to watch the full animated video version. It’s excellent and the song is an absolute banger. I think Sarah would love it too. It’s a great story and... Girl power! Also “No Bullets Fly” ( be sure to watch the complete animated story video because it has some great surprises) is a great Sabaton song with an excellent true story about a B-17 Bomber pilot and a German pilot that many would never believe. I gotta say though... “Ghost Division” “Attack of the Dead Men” and “Devil Dogs” might be my favorite songs though. Awww heck... I love all of ‘em. 🙂😆

Love this song! So catchy! The guy who is playing Lawrence is a historian who hosts their history channel, Indy Neidell. Seven Pillars of Wisdom is the name of the book written by Lawrence himself. Joakim read it and said it was a bit dry 😅

Night Witches animated story video and No bullets fly story video aswell is a must. Both the stories and the music is really good. The Nightwitches one u should definitely do with wifey. The Night witches was some badass Soviet women during ww2. Most of both Sabaton and Nightwish songs have subtitles, might help you out abit or atleast your wife as she often talks about wanting to know the text. Just make sure its the longer version thats named animated story video as that includes the story aswell as the song.

Sabaton toured together with Floors second band ReVamp in 2014, it was the last ReVamp tour and Floor was just the official NW singer.

You dont have to know the history, you get the lesson from Sabaton and if you want more you go to Sabaton History and learn more at least one episode per song.

I am sure many have said it, but it can’t be mentioned enough, but all Sabaton songs is based on history and if you want to know more about the actual history, Sabaton have already solved that. To every song there is at least one episod on Sabaton history channel that you can look up where some of the band members talks about the song and history together with an historian. You just have to check that out.

Hey man that's so cool that you discovered metal so late in your life! Awsome experience. I'm glad you are enjoying Sabaton. I have been listening to really hard metal since I was a teen, but I also love the more catchy/poppy stuff like Sabaton. So it's a good way to start! Plus they are from my country, Sweden! The Carolus rex album was my introduction to Sabaton, cause it's about our history as a superpower.
