As You already said, this song is a cover of Radio Tapok song. And Radio Tapok is known for making covers, especially for Sabaton. Sabaton allowed him to release a cover to one of their songs (that was "Attack Of The Dead Man" if i'm not mistaken) BEFORE Sabaton released the original song. And later, during their world tour, they invited Oleg (That's a real name of Radio Tapok) to sing that song at their show in Moscow. Motorhead did a song Hellraiser that was covered by Ozzy Osbourne shortly after Lemmy Kilmeister and Ozzy Osbourne got to together to do I Ain't No Nice Guy

It's amazing how Sabaton is as involved as they are with their fans. There's such a genuine kindness, enjoyment and showmanship with what they do.
The best part is that Oleg’s appearance wasn’t advertised anywhere. Pretty much just the band and venue staff knew he was going to get on stage.
I love how they included Soviet hymn into the solo ;)

Welcome to the FOMO club, except we know we're missing out. Amazing bands out of eastern Europe. Canada rates as well. We need to get these bands' mainstream attention in the states. Hey Tom! A fact I learned. All Soviet men who turned 20 in 1941 and were drafted that year (which I’m sure was a helluva lot) only 3% survived the war. 97 out of every 100 died.
It's always good to turn on the captions on their videos if they're available.

I haven't listened to a US rock radio station since the mid-1980s. In the early 80s, I was already looking overseas for my metal, heading to the record store weekly to check out the latest imports. At least we had thrash during the 80s but that started drying up in the 90s and all I was left with was Pantera so once again I looked overseas, this time using the Internet and found a plethora of bands and genres to keep me happy for years. Most of the metal I listen to this day is European but I still have some favorite American metal bands.
part on guitar solo 6:25 is similar to Russian\Soviet anthem music, maybe i'm wrong but i literally hear it and can sing words from anthem that perfect fit

I absolutely love how they make historical music and they don't make it political. It's about the history. If they were a mediocre band it be moot but they are exceptionally talented as well.

En livistid I Krig live from Gothenburg. I promise you, it will change your life. And I strongly recommend using subtitles. Cause it’s that much shocking lol. But it’s seriously a wow video.

And about Defense of Moscow, first, it has a Two Steps From Hell feel to it in the beginning. Second, when you can get the original artist to get emotional about your cover, you know you did something right!

My three favorite bands are Nightwish , Sabaton and EVERGREY . Floor is married to Hannes who is the current drummer for Sabaton but used to be the drummer for EVERGREY ...I’m sure Kevin Bacon is involved somewhere 😂

The military parade was held on the Red Square (near the Kremlin), and the marching detachments marched directly to a front line.
nope. russias fate was not decided near moscow. even if ze germans take moscow, stalin would have NEVER!!!! surrendered. and why should he? he knew very well, we germans are very low of fuel, our resources are at the limit, and he has tons of men, and resources.
so no, there was no way, we, ze germans, could defeat stalins russia. this was not like the first world war.
