Hey there, hope your hairs doing well now. Did you find out what was the cause of your hair loss, was it weight loss? Are they growing back or not... I would be waiting for your reply..
Growing up my hair was always my biggest compliment, people would compliment the colour and thickness of it. I’ve started losing hair / it’s becoming a lot thinner and I feel like I’ve literally lost the only part of me I was confident about. Losing hair is horrible and you feel like you’ve lost a sense of yourself. I feel like shit constantly and am trying everything to get it back but I’m struggling so much at the moment
same It’s just been progressively getting worse and it’s harder to hide, my doctor told me it was stress and that it would grow back; I stopped stressing but it’s the regrowth part that’s the hardest
Following applying littleetra reacvtivate serum for hair growth for a month, I can happily say it works. My hair feels fuller, and I am beginning to notice new growth. Additionally, it doesn't make my scalp greasy, which is great. I’m glad I read the suggestions here.
Your eyes, your face, the color of your hair, you look drop dead beautiful, i've been staring at you for the whole video, then rewatched it to hear what are you talking about. i'm so amazed
I've been using the Reactivate hair serum from litlllextra for the last month and completely switched from my old serum for the last two months. It's working fantastic. I just apply it one time every day with the spray pump included with the serum. It's very simple to use, not oily, and without any fragrance. The hair growth results are up to now so great, and it's just one month only and I will keep to apply it.
Many of my friends are using reactivate hair serum these days, and most of them have said that it is benefiting them in stimulating hair growth and reducing hair fall.
thanks for the tip.. I also started using reacctivate hair serum plus cocoonnion shampoo, conditioner to my routine. now that it’s been 30 days, I can see some positive changes in hair growth on my scalp
I've been losing my hair for 3 years and gradually I gave up on everything. From very thick and voluminous hair to shrunk thin hair. The journey is very depressing and saddening. Watching this, gave me a new ray of hope and I genuinely thank you so much for this much-needed inspiration. ❤
@@fouziamuhammad5980 has to be. I went to a doctor recently. She has diagnosed me with telogen effluvium and ive been using prescription medication and a few topical sprays and lotions and my hair loss is almost back to normal I will continue with these medicines even after I end my prescribed time cuz they give me a hope no one could before. 🙂
I took a blood test and there was nothing there causing my hair loss. It's so stressful losing hair and the fact that the reason why it's falling is most likely because of stress.. stresses me out even more.
Yes. And the people around you telling you "don´t stress".. how can you not stress if constantly clumps and clumps of hair are falling out all day long. There is no way to forget about it even for a day :-(
Girl. SAME. I got so much tests done. Nothin. NOTHIN. My doc says its TE and gave me prescription tablets and topical sprays BUT the hairfall is still NASTY. I just want it to end 😭. I'm barely 19 I don't wanna go bald 😭. I've had this type of hairfall for years now undignosed TE. My beautiful hair all gone 1/3rd of it remains still shedding in bulk day after day.
@@ishitagupta5959 oh my god same. Everyone used to compliment my hair, literally everyone. I was known for having long healthy locks but idk what has happened. I’ve been losing hair for the past 2 years and I’ve tried every medication and every possible remedy but nothing seems to work. Im left with dry and dull hair that’s about 1/3rd in volume of what I originally had.
@@tahreemsaeed245 your case is similar to mine. Can you tell me updates about your hair now? I am also loosing my hair from past 3 years and is not controlling.. I have tried like everything and nothing really works..it feels like I'll go bald soon😭
I remember when I was younger I wished my hair was thinner because it was just so thick...... then after I had my son (hormones and a perpetual mum bun) it got thin.. now I want my thick hair back lol
I feel you. Always had such thick hair that was so hard to tame and I had to go to saloon to thin it out to be able to manage it. Now after dealing with hair loss I am really happy that I had so much hair to begin with else I guess I would probably be bald right now. I think in your case it was due to the hormonal changes, the good thing is that will balance itself out again. Stay strong!
I’m full tears because I’m going through this process right now. And it’s a great reminder to be kind to yourself and extremely patient. Thank you for the love
Any time a person’s appearance changes involuntarily, it can really take an emotional toll. The feeling of loss of control, confusion, struggling to figure out the cause, not being taken seriously by others/potentially by doctors…when we consider the bigger picture, it’s not *just* about the hair. Adding to that-hair can be a “canary in a coal mine” when it comes to our overall health. Because it isn’t an essential process, it can be one of the first things our body will let go of when struggling. So if you have noticed sudden hair loss without explanation, it really doesn’t hurt to check in with your body & your doctor. Even if the cause is “just” stress, your doctor should be able to offer you some suggestions for healthy coping mechanisms. It’s definitely a journey, & if you’re going through it, my heart is with you❤️ I promise you’re not as alone as you feel.
Wow, thank you so much for explaining everything that I am going through. I have had a very difficult last six months. I lost a friend who hurt me and I was devastated and conflicted and going between sadness and grief that he's gone and why, why, why did you hurt me. Now my hair is falling. Thank for helping me understand 🌷
Reading these comments make me wanna cry. My hair used to be so full and thick almost the size of my wrist, and in 3 months it's the size of my pinky. Ive tried so many things. Even got a blood test but nothing seems to show up as the root of the problem. I'm 17 now and it's been 6 months since it started and just looking in the mirror is so depressing and I cry sm but no one is trying to really help me. So reading all these comments of how we're all going thru the same thing is making me bawl my eyes out lol I really hope all you beautiful people, that your hair will grow super fast and have better hair then before you lost it🎀😚
@suemi_8103 maybe you had COVID or some other infection you were not aware of. Infections can trigger hair loss in some people at any age. It could also be a lack of adequate nutrition, maybe low Vitamin D or iron. I hope your hair is coming back and that you have found good medical treatment.
I used this littleexxtra reactivate growth serum on the side area of my forehead where I don’t have hair. After using it for a month, I noticed some amazing results. This serum helped promote new hairs from deep within, and they became thicker and stronger. I recommend everyone who has thinning hair in certain areas to use it daily for 2-3 months and include it in your routine.
Hair is not "just hair" It is so valuable in saying so much about us that when we lose it then we know why we hold value to it. When my father had cancer and lost all of his hair I didn't care about it. But, when the hair started to grow back I felt like it was such a sign that he was getting better. He passed away with such healthy looking hair that I felt like for the way the illness ravished his body he had at least a part of himself back that he throughout his life had been complemented the most about. His smile and his hair. xoxo
If you are ugly like me with a great mop of curly hair that everyone compliments, it is not just hair. My hair is the one thing that gives some self-esteem. If one goes the other goes away once and for all. Not a good prospect.
Superb tips Charlotte. Dealing with severe hair fall can be frustrating, and I understand how this feel. I went through a similar experience last year, and despite trying various remedies, nothing seemed to work. However, I didn't give up and continued my search for a solution. In my journey, I found that incorporating natural hair oils and practicing yoga were effective in promoting healthy hair growth. But what made a significant difference for me was using the Littleextra Cocoonion natural shampoo and hair oil. These products are formulated with natural ingredients that nourish and strengthen the hair from the root to the tip. I understand that everyone's hair is unique, and what worked for me may not work for you. However, based on my experience, I would highly recommend giving these tips a try. Don't lose hope, and keep trying until you find what works best for you. And remember, patience and perseverance are key in overcoming hair fall concerns.
It’s definitely not “Just hair” I hate when people say that! when you’re all depressed about how much hair you’ve lost that’s such the wrong words to use. 😒 I’ve been struggling with this since I had my 3rd child 5 years ago.
My roommate told me that a few times. Oh man did I have an attitude after him saying that. Even a few health care professionals didn’t take me seriously. I know it’s because I’m a woman in my 50s and my hair was looking better then theirs. Jokes aside it was because I had an illness that can not be cured just managed. It started to fall suddenly. Menopause doesn’t work like that. No one took me seriously. I’ll never forget it. Still mad 😂
@@TracyD2 I’m 31 and my same thing is going on here. My doctor doesn’t take me seriously. It’s like she’s rolling her eyes in her head as I’m almost in tears because of how much hair I’ve lost. I’ve had ZERO help from doctors. Pisses me off so much I’m afraid to continue to seek professional help. Just google and RUclips is what I got. 😂😭 I feel your pain. ❤️❤️❤️
@@chelseazaydaraensehon1198 For some people it really is just hair. In my case I have been fighting to get my hair healthy and long after I bleached the hell out of it... I was really focused on that, when my hair started getting healthy, I got diagnosed with cancer. When my hair started falling out I said "this is just hair, it will grow out, be glad you're alive" I cut my hair very short, and focused on my treatments and eating well, which I wasn't doing before, and never thought of my hair again.
I used to have soo long (thigh length) hair, really thick hair..although my hair texture has always been frizzy and dry but since like almost an year I have been facing excessive hair loss, my hair is soo thin, dry rought and dull now..all of the bald patches are clearly visible on my hairline and I'm just 14!! I feel so much ashamed of my hair cause of the bald patches and thinning.. I really want my hair to be gorgeous and thick and strong like again.. please God
I'm applying littleexttra rosemary reactivate hair growth serum from a couple of weeks. Here is my review: 1- Great mix of ingredients 2- Noticeable results in just 2 weeks that I got from it 3- Lovely bottle with spray pump and nice packaging 4- Not so sticky and simple to apply
I lost a lot of hairs last year, but this year, after using the reactivate hair serum, I noticed it really grows new hairs in less dense parts. There were fewer hairs in the corners of my forehead, but the serum increase the density of that area, making it dense.
reactivate hair growth serum worked wonders in my case. My hair fall stopped after using for 10-15 times. It's the best one. It's great for those dealing with low hairfall density. It definitely works well.
The moment she said the bit about the "it's just hair" assumption that people make, I hit the like button. Hair is a big part of how a lot of people percieve themselves, me being one of them, and belitteling this about people is a shitty thing to do. We know it's "just" hair, but it's a part of how we see ourselves and people who do this should take their salon perfect blowdried hair and scoot out of here! Thank you for coming to my Ted talk!
You have to have a lot of nerve to say that to a woman knowing full well everyone's obsessed with our looks. Looks are overly valued in women. Everyone knows that. Those who say it's not true or that it's the same for men, are liars. And to then say that, knowing full well how it is for us is pure clown behaviour.
I'll tell you the truth. I had long layered hair. Above the waist. I'd use the clips to create cascading curls. TBH, they could've taken both by boobs. If they left my hair alone. I miss my hair more than my missing boob. I lose my hair too illness or medications. Still a struggle. Since 2007. Thank God no more cancer.
The best thing ever is when a woman knows how to take care of herself. She didn't have to spend hundreds of dollars to make herself feel beautiful. Beautify can be done at home. I especially love the simplicity well nurturing look. 💖
Literally the story of my life. I had veryyy thick hair in childhood but I started losing it in my teenage. I haven't tested my hormones or anything but I think I should. I want my old hair back 🥺
I had thick hair when i was little. They started getting thin when i was in grade 9. I really envy people with thick and long hair. I'm 20 now and I've been struggling with my hair for years. I miss my old long hair. I can't even count the times i've stood in the mirror and just felt helpless because of my hair. It's thicker on the scalp but reallllly thin toward the ends. I'll follow all these tips to revive my hair. Thank you for making this video and showing that people do struggle with things and it's fine and that there is hope. ❤❤
Same goes with me! I had very thick hair. It started getting thin when I was in 9th grade. Now I am 21. It's thick on the scalp but very very thinner towards the end.😢😢 So, now I want to shave my head. 'cause I've tried cutting my hair very but it doesn't work... it's still very thin towards the end. That's why I wanna shave it off now. But I am really scared. Should I shave off my hair?
You are so beautiful dear.. m so glad you got your hair back.. i lost my hair really bad😭still trying different remedies.. started getting them back and I see little difference though. I been through difficult and stressful time I guess that’s the reason. Also diagnosed with type 2 DM. Got so many grey hair too😞I use to have so much healthy black hair .. it’s depressive but today after watching your vedio I got motivated and I ll be definitely taking care of my health.. stay blessed and happy..🙌🏻😘
She says don't compare your hair to others. But it's really helped me cope. I was so used to my hair being so thick and dense I couldn't stop freaking out seeing my hair split widen. But when I see other women with thinner hair and they look beautiful and amazing. I feel better about how my hair looks which also calms my ass down 😅
Now I understand why some guys get blown away by beautiful women and can't listen to those beautiful women talk because they are too distracted by their beauty. I'm a straight woman. You look lovely and beautiful! Now I'll go put on some mascara and lip balm which I have totally ignored for years.
@@truthbetold4178 Clearly, this has not happened to you. Comparing women to inanimate objects is never fine. It is uncomfortable and disgusting to be on the receiving end of this type of attention. Not to mention, saddening that no one is actually listening to you. Or maybe you find it cute, when men stop what they're doing and look back at you. I don't and never will. The women in the video is attractive, but you must be new to critical thinking, and haven't noticed that regardless of what we do or say, the only thing people talk about is beauty. You can search anything, from baking t some chemistry, neuroscience videos, and if they're done by women, the comments will not forget about her representation, her lipstick, her top or her beautiful face. I'm sick of this shit.
I have never come across anyone who has had the same issues as me (diabetes from a young age, hair issues, period issues) and i am so excited to finally find you! Your videos and your discussion of your issues is such a big help to me because i FINALLY have something to work with! thank you so much for sharing and giving me new ideas on how to fix it!
Thank you so much for this. I’ve been struggling with hair loss since I was 18 (now 20) and recently it’s been a lot worse. My temples are faded and lots of my thickness in the back is gone. I used to have incredibly thick hair and now it’s just limp dry and thin. I am considering getting a cut soon to cut it short to help with growth and less maintains. I have severely itchy scalp. It’s awful how much it’s taken over my life. I’ve cried and just wanted to be alone countless of times. I’ve constantly question wether if I did lose all of my hair would anyone love me. It’s hard. So thank you, sometimes I forget I’m not alone and everything will be okay.
Breanna, play around with wigs. It's a lot of fun and helps when you're losing hair. I shaved my hair off and wore wigs for a while. For me SAW PALMETTO (standardized) REALLY helped. Yiu can by them from Walmart. Just make sure they say standardized.
I'm also going through thyroid issues and have lost a ton of hair in the last 9 months. My hair currently looks like her 2018 hair, where it seems thicker at the top half and the bottom half looks stringy and sparse. Knowing that I'm not alone in this and that it can be reversed makes me feel better!
Thank you so much girl. I've been going through extreme hairfall for about a year now, but I was never that brave to cut my hair short. Because of the environment I've been for years, people always saw me as a pretty girl with long thick and beautiful hair. And now that I'm losing it, every one can notice the change. It's very depressing to be in this phase. Good that I came across your video, now I don't fear chopping my hair short. Once again thanks dear❤️
Ikr it’s so frustrating when people are like “ omg you had such thick hair “ . I had my hair past my butt and cut it till my shoulder , it’s been a year and I’ve grown it out till my butt again , this time it’s a lot healthier , I still do have hairfall but that’s probably because of my eating disorder , I’m not in a very good place right now I don’t even eat , I’m just waiting for things to end so that I can start fresh.
@@user-dp3iy2ch4p I felt I had to reply ,.I lost all my beautiful hair due to an eating disorder once I started recovery it was insane how quickly it thickened up again
@@djfhfh exactly omg , its like my physical and mental health are directly proportional to the health of my hair , when i eat healthy my hair is at its best state
Mine was thyroid and smoking. I quit smoking and drinking apple cyder vinegar helped me with my health. You have inspired me to cut my hair. It is down to my waist but like yours, the top half is way thicker. Thank you for sharing.
@@hannahking1984 One more question, what is the best way to drink this? I thought about mixing it with pickle juice, but I don’t want to drink too much pickle juice, as it has a lot of sodium.
I've been dealing with hair loss for over a year now. For someone who's always had thick hair, I didn't worry much cause I thought I was just shedding. But nowadays its so bad that every time I brush my fingers through my hair a bunch of strands come out and i can feel how much it has thinned. Last night I found a grey hair and lowkey died inside. It's honestly such a traumatic experience especially cause I'm at an age where this SHOULDN'T be happening. It doesn't help that other people think you're overreacting. I took a blood test an the doctor said it's normal but I have been having frequent anxiety attacks, so I think that might be the reason.
You were telling my story ... born with good hair...long healthy hair till high school...started with hair loss (lack of iron)... trying best to not have to chop off half of the hair length... took a bold step of finally chopping half of it...regretting why I didn't do it before??? Thank you for letting me know that I am not alone here...
I went through this. I've had hair below my bum for my entire life and it's a big part of my identity, not just beauty but a reflection of my culture. I'm British but my grandparents are from India and hair rituals and beauty has been passed down through generations. I started to get huge bald spots and lost most of my hair. I saw my doctor, got treatment and eventually cut it all off and start from scratch because massive bald spots, long hair and thinning ends was not a look LOL but I came home after my hair cut and cried. I was no longer the Indian girl with beautiful, long hair that strangers would compliment. People say 'it's just hair' but hair is a reflection of our identity and health and unless you go through hair loss, there are no ways to explain to someone how you feel about it without people thinking it's just about our looks. If you are going through this, just know you are not alone. Thank you Charlotte for being so brave and open about this, many people going through a similar experience will find comfort in this. Also, the 2018 hair is soooo chic and beautiful on you, I could never pull it off
Your hair is BEAUTIFUL. My hair has been thinning so much lately and I don’t know why, and I can feel how much tinier it’s gotten in a pony tail. I love these videos, they give me hope.
@MAJOR ASMR I’m experiencing telogen effluvium but I think it’s cause I finally got off the birth control pill after 7 years of being on it, and it’s a pain in the ass
You are such a sweet girl!!! The way your hair looks that’s how my hair use to look like and now I have lost a lot of hair 😭 I hope my hair recovers and becomes beautiful again
You're beautiful inside and out, no matter what the length of your hair. But it's great that you've regained hair health through all of your research. Thanks for sharing all of your helpful tips. Great video!
i've had fairly thick and straight hair when i was a kid and it looked pretty until i became like between 13/14 and it started to fall out and it was just dry and ugly and i know people are gonna say "it's just hair" but you know it hurts to like see girls have healthy long hair and yours is just...you can't even style it and hair adds so much to someone's appearance that i knew i lacked something and it made my self esteem so so bad. my mom is not the kind of woman to know products and take care of her appearance so much so that kind of mindset was passed to me and i just let it fall out despite everything bc i didnt know what to do. it's only 2 years ago (im 19 now) that i decided to go to a doctor, someone who was so so pessimist they literally told me there's no going back it made me cry, i still tried all kinds of shampoos pills and treatments i was recommended and it didnt work. 6 months ago i went to another doctor and he actually was positive and gave me hope and apparently it was hormonal problems. my hair is still pretty thin and definitely not good enough to style it and feel pretty but it's better than before. it still makes me upset so im sorry for the rant just hoping for good results at the end.
no but thank you for sharing its good to know someone else has been going through the exact same thing as me :(( hair started falling at 14 ish but it was so thick that i didnt think it was an issue. im 17 now and its really thin and so im going to a doctor soon. its been 7 months since you commented so i was just wondering if you had any updates?? hopefully its better for you now
especially as we children we got so good hair, but I noticed when I came to puberty, everything was just worse, EVEN my hair.... so oily scalp, so thin hair and change the structure from curly to straight !" :(
I am so glad I come across your video. I have literally been through exactly what you described you have went through but my hair loss has been drastically noticeable in just the past 3-4 months. I recently had covid in that time and ended up losing my grandmother from covid as well and the stress of taking care of my children(5 year old son and 1 year old daughter) on top of me being sick then losing my grandmother all during that has really taken a toll on my hair. I had such long and beautiful curly wavy hair and started noticing it coming out in clumps about a month and half ago and I done exactly like you and decided to cut my hair because of the long stringy look it had started to get. So now I have hair to my shoulders and I know its the best thing for my hair to be able to start getting healthy but I just don't feel like myself without my hair. I've cried and cried till I cant cry anymore. Your video has given me a new look at it and taught me that its gonna take time and patience. My hair is my security blanket of a sort and when you said hair is not just hair I felt that because its definitely not just hair to me, its the one thing that makes me feel like me and even though its depressing to look at right now it wont be like this forever!💗
I feel like you are telling my exact story! My blood test was fine, doctor said stress but I think it was some weird delayed reaction to Covid?? Anyway my hair is 1/3rd as thick as it usually is, so dry and brittle and looks awful..generally the worst condition I have ever seen my hair.. I did cut 2 inches off but no improvement.. I am going to have to cut it to my shoulders (shortest it has ever been) and prey it grows back.. lemme know how your hair progresses. Sorry about your Grandma...sending you hugs! 💖
Some people think my real hair is a wig. I’ve had a lot of low thyroid symptoms but was lucky with good hair genes and also not hating to have a full head of fine hair. All hair types are beautiful, I think it’s very unusual even for sick people to need to cut it though. I’m glad you are helping people to stop demonizing self care. Also glad that you make it clear that nutrition and stress play a role. I got terribly sick over hurricane Katrina when we were under stress and hanging around people that hate for anyone to have nice long hair. Nutrition and not limiting yourself with toxic people is so important.
I feel so so so happy for you , I have starting my hair loss 2 years ago , I had very thick , curly and healthy hair , all of sudden I noticed my hair becoming straight and no more look like healthy hair , I cut them , I visit so many doctor's they couldn't understand what my problem is , I become so depressed because I lost so many hair , and my hair are becoming so thin , thinner then baby hair . I hope one day my hair also growing back. I am 22
You’re so gorgeous and full of grace! Thank you for the video 💜 I totally understand the feeling of losing what you once had and were proud of. Hair is such big part of my identity and femininity, and I think it also represents health, beauty, and youth. I’m still on my journey to where my hair once was. I wish you the best!
I have always had super thick long hair and the past few weeks I started losing hair , a lot of hair. Yesterday I looked closer in the mirror and cried, it’s now obvious and it’s so upsetting I’m only 21 and I Love my hair until now , it is sad and it’s embarrassing and it really takes a toll on me , what had been one of my favorite things about myself is going away and I hate it. My grandma noticed that I was very upset about something and I decided to tell her what was going on and she said we will fix this and ordered me oils , supplements, etc to help me get my hair back and for that I will be forever grateful. She is currently the only person other than myself who knows about this and this took me a lot of courage to type. But for anyone else dealing with hair loss and struggling I get it and I’m here for you ❤
Everything you’re saying is happening to my hair now for the last 2 yrs. people don’t know, it’s not just hair. I’m at the stage of thinking to cut it. Thanks for sharing. ❤️🙌🏻
im 21 and have been losing hair for almost 7 years now. My crown is balding. It's the worst. There are times I have a breakdown and cry so much just cuz I feel so insecure and empty because of this. I had genetically very thick hair. That's why it hurts so much, like whatever went wrong for me to suffer through this xD
Rafi, I sure know how your feeling. My hair was very thick and long it was at the bottom of my butt then I noticed that i was losing more than usual then a few weeks later my brush was full of it. I was a crying mess, I’m still a crying mess. But I’m glad to have found this video and I’m going to definitely try these tips. Don’t lose hope you’re not alone. We’ll get our beautiful hair back just like this girl did. ❤️
@@lucyarchuleta2962 ur comment helped me i guess i kept shading hair as well for over 5 years till now nd yesterday i took a shower then kept brushing it nd it didn't stop from falling . Went to doctors had blood tests took medicine changed my diet everything but still what's the deal? Nd i think that i didn't stick to a healthy oiling routine for long like i do that for a week or two then forget about it so i hope stuff changes for everyone that is going through this
Thank you so much, my story is just same as yours. And nobody understands how painful it is to feel that your hair is not same as before, Thank you for making me feel that it can grow back ☺
Usually i wouldn't comment on these hair videos, bcuz i have been trying some and when it doesn't work with the given time i stop it. It had been on and off for me of this hair loss and hair thinning right from my teenage and its been apprpx 10 years now and there has been no significant change as such. I even tried consulting a doc once and it worked for the time i was on medication, and once i stopped it, i was back to zero,so... what i want is that having these many years of struggling and enduring and trying things never have i felt so hopeful as i felt after watching ur video. Making video with good intentions is rare already but putting it out in such a gentle and understanding way and not bragging abt hw u achieved it and others can too in some way made me HEAL(?) a bit. Its so refreshing to see a person being so authentic of her own journey and at the same time being all empathetic abt it in a way. I dont or rather try to not get influenced by looks so much and here i truly felt ur soft personality right through the lens into my heart. Purple you💜👏
I had super long/shiny/strong hair for all my adolescence, then at 18 I chopped them off into a super nice pixie cut. People criticized my choice but I kept repeating: "it's only hair, it will grow again". Started to take less care of it slowly and did not use vitamins/supplements. Little did I know... At 28 years old I got seriously ill and they fell down heavily, I had to cut them really short. Medications triggered an hypothyroidism so, even if I healed from that s***t, I now have to live with hormonal struggles and constant hairloss! They also got 65-70% white. Here I am at 36 years old, hating my head, obsessing over it and fighting tons of white. I now realize they were part of me and my identity, there were silently part of my comfidence and I was giving them for granted. I die inside when I see someone with amazing hair, probably I should shave it off and buy a high quality wig, to suffer less. It really hurts 😢
Don't give up...keep working at it. Dye your hair if you must. Exercise, eat healthy, take biotin, collagen, don't shampoo every day, use hair masks, massage your scalp, braid your hair at night, don't give up!!!!!
I’m going through this right now. I’m trying not to stress about it as I think stress has caused it for me. I’ve had full check up by Doc and I’m healthy. But I am under severe stress and have been traumatic for the last 8 years. I am looking after myself and trying to distress. I have subscribed.
Just at the right time - a refreshing heart felt video with no weird instant solutions. In my case my very long hair just snapped off on one side half way down because of a hairdressing mistake 3 months ago and has been terribly depressing. This afternoon I finally decided to face the problem and see two new hairdressers: first one was no use (quite aggressive in the end and just a product seller) and the second understood the whole problem and suggested the right cut to balance the sides so I got an appointment x next week. Feeling quite happy on my way home and have accepted it has to be cut. Actually my hair is quite strong at the roots which are growing quite well, doing scalp massage and purifying systems, adding nuts pistachios etc to my diet, stopped all sugary stuff, yes well really liked your approach and synced completely with you, thanks you’re so sweet and nice
Hope the 2nd hairdresser helped! And you're almost back to even. The same thing happened to me with a stylist causing breakage and uneven sides. Was very upsetting trying to manage it. I cut it also and trying to be patient as it grows.
I was so glad to have come across your channel. I always had thinner hair, but now after my surgery & major health scare - I have lost so much hair. It is just NOT hair - it is way more than that. I am so obsessed, I look at my hair everyday & think I am loosing more and more. This is a wild emotional roller coaster!!
I used to have hip length hair so thick I couldn’t hold them in one grab it’s used to burn my scalp with weight yet here I am it’s all shedded and I don’t think anyone gets how much emotional baggage it carries I feel like my whole blues circle around my hair I just can explain how I feel.
“It’s just hair” is usually said by people who have not gone trough a big hair fall.. I’ve been going through hair loss struggles for years now and it is not quite easy to tackle. I’m going through the same health struggles but also a lot of emotional trauma/ stress and exhaustion. And I can’t do much about it at the moment :/ The loss of hair feels like losing your power to be abundant in health, beauty and sexual life energy. Because I’ve went through soul killing traumatic things in my life when the only beauty and wealth as a woman I felt like a had was deteriorating, it felt like dying.. hair does not make or define you as a woman does not mean you stop wanting those long healthy luscious locks.
To balance adrenals, 20 minutes a day with your legs up straight against a wall. I also have lost a bunch of hair, from Covid and AGA. Covid hair has grown back.
I started losing out so much hair the past two years, especially after COVID last year. When I got a blood test, my Ferritin levels were 7 (surprised I had any hair left with that level), mostly due to Menorrhagia. Used to have thick hair to a point where finding my scalp was difficult, and now. :(. Been on iron medication ever since, but everytime I get my period, Ferritin levels go down and there's oodles of hair shedding. The picture on the left in the thumbnail is what my hair looks like more or less. Your current hair thickness gives me hope! Here's counting on supplements and good hair care.
Lol girl, when my ferritin level was 7, my Dr told me it was normal!!!! I have almost no hair left and it's dry and horrible, I want to cry. It's been like this for years.
A gall bladder removal surgery, followed by getting infected with Covid. I lost my hair, more than half of it. I can see my scalp and little bald patches now when I brush my hair, this was such an uncommon occurrence earlier. People have been pointing it out to me, and that makes it worse. They don't mean it in a bad way I guess, it's just that I'm very sensitive to this topic. I hope everyone who has lost their hair gets it back.
Same. Post COVID I lost a lot of my hair including bald patches. I saw a dermatologist and did blood work, and suggested I take iron… but said it was from stress. I’m sorry. I caught COVID in March 2020, My hair is slowly getting healthier, and has grown maybe a half inch ? But I wish they would research this more,,, and find an easy cure
Im really experiencing terrible hair thinning and its really freaking me out 😭 terrible that i can see my scalp through my hair strands. Thank you for your tips and imma get some cut tomorrow.
Yeah me too I'm seeing my scalp and my ends were thin like she was showing . I stopped eating fruit awhile ago because I thought it would be healthier but that might have been the start of this
Water, environment has a lot to do with hair too. I have personal experience with this thing, living in cities with air, water pollution vs living in villiages or areas with less pollution and more natural resources, it's definitely an important factor.
I’ve been through hair loss a few times now due to my thyroid and stress. You are spot on when you say “it’s not just hair”. Thanks for sharing your experience :)
Thank you so much for this video. Reading everyone's comments, am very similar to them. I have been losing a lot of hair pass couple of years. Recently my hair has started to fall out even more. It's making me feel so down, despressed and upset. I will try your tips out. Thank you for your honesty. God bless you.
It means so much to know my story has helped. I am also thankful for everyone who has left comments. It's unfortunate how hair is the first sign to shed when health issues are present in the body. Praying for you're peace and healing!
I'm going through the same but hope it will end soon and ill will be free again More power to the beautiful ladies who are going through this this is a phase and it will end soon
I am 17 and I had thick mid back length hair but due to academic stress i lost half of my hair. Though my hair hadn't got that thin but still i recently chopped off 5-6 inches. Hope i regrow my long thick hair.
Thank you for the honest information without all the gimmicks and all the BS! You are 100% correct... healthy skin and hair come from the inside and nothing you put on the outside is going to replace that. Not always a simple fix 🥺.
@@91tanishaaggarwal67 Not for my understanding. I would recommend doing some research on birth control. It defiantly can cause hormone issues, I would never take it again.
PS Rosemary was scientifically found to be as effective as Rogain! So your mix would be wonderful actually on the scalp too! Anthony Youn, MD has an amazing tutorial regarding hair regrowth with scientific evidence and he also recommends rosemary oil!

@@natalliatsanko6818 Extra proteins make the hair thinner because extra proteins damage the kidneys. There is a big conection between good kidney function and full hair. By the way, the body makes its own proteins from nutrients, so it is important to eat a lot of raw vegetables and fruit.
So glad I found this video. I just made an appointment for next week to cut mine due to breakage and hair fall due to being sick for the last five months and resulting in malnutrition. I have been obsessing over it and I finally decided I need to cut some inches off and re-start the growth journey with a healthy baseline. I am past the cause and just starting vitamins again and expanding my diet per my Dr. advice and am also finding ways to reduce stress. Appreciate your vulnerability here and the information you are sharing with those of us who are dealing with this issue and it is traumatic. Thanks so much for the information! Lynn
Try pumpkin seed oil or sweet almond oil masks. You just massage one or the other oil into scalp leave in for 5 hours then wash out. So good for hair regrowth and smoothness and shine 👌🏼

@@reemazain9891 yes! i'm taking supplements now and I hope it will be better soon
Be careful with the iron supplement. I thought I was possibly low in iron and added the supplement and after getting my blood work done the doctor said my iron was too high (it was probably in the right place before supplementing) and that high iron might ALSO cause hair loss. However, you’re likely to need iron if you’re pregnant or have been

@@ObscuredReverie I did a blood work done and I'm extremely low in iron :) but yes, it's very important to be careful with supplementation
I accidentally discovered at one point in my life that green smoothies (for me it simple: frozen berries, spinach, yogurt, water) really helped me with hair regrowth!! I’ll just keep it short and leave it at that. I have photo proof. I was doing smoothies for weight loss initially, it became part of my lifestyle due to low cost and ease and weight loss effectiveness, and I looked at photos from a year prior and holy hair! This won’t work every time for everyone I’m sure, but it certainly doesn’t hurt!
It's really important to go to the dermatologist if you experience severe hair loss (check ferritin / iron and blood of course first). I had TE (temporary hair loss) from covid which triggered AGA (female pattern hair loss). I discovered because of a scalp biopsy. Make sure you take the appropriate steps before losing it all! It might be more severe than you think!
Yeah you said it right..it's not just hair. Its a feeling. My friends and family identify me in the past as that long dense haired girl. They complimented me everytime . And now...I lost all of it and have bald spots all-over my head. Now I'm planning to chop my hair off and start from nothing.
So sorry to hear this. Just remember our hair doesn't define how we are as people. Have courage and be kind and know our beauty really does come from how we make people feel. Blessing on your journey to healing 💙

I’ve been dealing with hair loss for over a year now. It stopped at 8 months and then it started again. You will never now how can hair loss affect your mental health till it happens to you. Hope we all here recover from this soon 🧡
It is the luck of the wash 😭 I have thin fine hair naturally. When I was 16 I buzzed all my dyed hair off and started to regrow it from the root. I’m now 23 and my hair is to my lower ribs. I cut about 3inches a year, I do monthly dusting to any split ends throughout the hair, and I don’t heat style. I feel like hair is an extension of ourselves and we should always respect, love and take care our being! I loved this video thank you for some truth!

You are wonderful. Thank you. ❤️

His smile and his hair. xoxo

My roommate told me that a few times. Oh man did I have an attitude after him saying that. Even a few health care professionals didn’t take me seriously. Such a sweet comment!☺️
She says don't compare your hair to others. But it's really helped me cope. I was so used to my hair being so thick and dense I couldn't stop freaking out seeing my hair split widen. But when I see other women with thinner hair and they look beautiful and amazing. I feel better about how my hair looks which also calms my ass down 😅
More power to you and everyone who’s going through hair fall! We are in this together!!! 😍😍😍😍😍🌸🌸🌸

Now I understand why some guys get blown away by beautiful women and can't listen to those beautiful women talk because they are too distracted by their beauty. I'm a straight woman. You look lovely and beautiful!
Now I'll go put on some mascara and lip balm which I have totally ignored for years.
That is not a compliment. Ignoring women's words because you're distracted by their beauty is disgusting.
@@izabelezyleify ... Clearly, you're someone who does not appreciate art.
Same girl I feel you that itching of scalp might be due to dandruff! I have lost 60 percent of my hair 🥺
Breanna, play around with wigs. It's a lot of fun and helps when you're losing hair. I shaved my hair off and wore wigs for a while. For me SAW PALMETTO (standardized) REALLY helped. Yiu can by them from Walmart. Just make sure they say standardized.
Use onion juice .it helped me a lot
It could be a fungus, visiting a dermatologist would be beneficial I think! Hope it gets better🤍

I’m going through the same thing with my hair, thyroid and adrenals right now. Seeing your recovery gives me so much hope!

Mine was thyroid and smoking. I quit smoking and drinking apple cyder vinegar helped me with my health. You have inspired me to cut my hair. It is down to my waist but like yours, the top half is way thicker. Thank you for sharing.

Ur not british, ur indian. A mouse born in a stable is not a horse. 😂

Do a blood test you could be anemic ,use castor oil in your scalp.
no but thank you for sharing its good to know someone else has been going through the exact same thing as me :(( hair started falling at 14 ish but it was so thick that i didnt think it was an issue. im 17 now and its really thin and so im going to a doctor soon. its been 7 months since you commented so i was just wondering if you had any updates?? hopefully its better for you now

I am 22

Found your video after crying in the shower. This week it’s falling out in clumps. Thanks for giving me hope! 🙏❤️
Exact same story man istg ,did you find any cure ?
@@emduffer2495 no . I tried a lot of things, spend so much money on products ,visited doctors... And now the hair fall is worse than ever.
@@_sa_mee_na_ girl your not alone at all , very similar story , it all of a sudden started falling off like crazy when it was so thick and dense and it was so depressing , Ihv researched soo much , visited doctors, nothing absolutely nothing worked , my hair hasn’t grown much but it definitely has reduced a little , I recommend u to drink multi vitamin syrup , or syrups/tablets meant to grow hair , that’s the only way for it to grow a little , don’t worry , hopefully it grows for the both of us ❤️❤️❤️
@@amruthabathala2609 oh you are so sweet..❤️❤️❤️ do you have any recommendations for supplements??
I am currently going through this now, actually have been for the past few years. It’s so hard😔 I woke up this morning and was like I need to cut this off. My head and my mind feels so much better already!🥰 You are so right, letting go of old energy and past times. Thank you for this video ❤️ Now here is to growing this hair back!🙏🏼🥂
I’ve been dealing with hair loss for over a year now. It stopped at 8 months and then it started again. I think it’s pregnancy but it’s still frustrating and sometimes I feel like I can’t deal with this anymore. I hate when people say It’s just hair.
You are the definition of natural beauty.
