Hey quick note my dude. Poe-toe-mac
Tricia Paytas is gonna be the next Anna Nicole mark my words!
I like that woman that told him exactly how she felt about him. "Crude and disgusting " wasnt afraid to say it to his face
He loved it too!
And said ''i dont care to give you a exemple'' that was the best part .
I greatly admired that too!
I was born in the late 80s. To me even as a kid he was just a rude dude with a perm and shades.
Had an opinion so passionately but yet had 0 memory of anything he did. (Hes a jackass im jus sayin if u gon be opinionated remember why)
"You're rather disgusting and I don't care to give you an example". She rather rose to the occasion I'd say. Classic quote. She said it so calmly yet tough.
Every time I’d listen to an interview of someone I liked he’d ask weird and disgusting questions about them and their gf’s or wives or exes and I just had to turn it off everytime because it’s so uncomfortable, he’s either a pedo or a perv or both just so weird!
@@fatbutactive7411 I actually answered your comment but some piece of shit erased it. YT woketards on my ass constantly. So sick of this shit.
@@deathmetaldouglas69 it's antisemitic to criticize mister Stern.
@@operacarmen Funny now that Stern has gone all woketard he keeps his mouth shut about Israel. He used to go after people like Roger Waters but has said nothing publicly about October 7th. No backbone what-so-ever.
@@fatbutactive7411 The only interview of his I ever listened to was with Katey Sagal around the time Sons of Anarchy was big. When out of nowhere he asked all those 'none of your goddamn business' questions, and Katey the legend that she is evaded them like a pro. Never listened to anything of that nosy pervert again.
Scott Salem (Scott the Engineer) was a 30 plus year loyal employee and frequent on air member of stern’s staff. His wife of 30 plus years who also appeared on air occasionally was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Scott was forced to start a GoFundMe to help with the extreme expenses associated with her illness. Scott was trying to raise $50,000. Howard not only flat out refused to mention the GoFundMe to his audience, he penalized Scott for mentioning his fundraising efforts on other Sirius shows and social media. Howard took this as a direct insult. Rather than donate the 50k to Scott which is essentially pocket change to Howard, he demoted Scott and had him removed from the stern compound. Howard also scrubbed Scott from any and all show bits and would not allow his name to be mentioned by any staff member ever. Scott’s wife succumb to her illness and passed away. Even though Howard did everything in his power to prevent Scott from raising the money, the fans came through and Scott reached the 50k goal. Howard then instructed the despicable cult leader Marci Turk, who controls the entire current stern show content and staff, to fire Scott and eliminate his association with Sirius altogether. Howard is a truly vile human being.
Typical Of Leftists.
Holy shit. Scott was on during the period of time I listened. I'm horrified to learn this.
Everyone who hears about this is horrified.
Why was he so against this man from raising funds to help his wife? What bothered Stern so much for him to go to the length he did? That really show just how depraved he is. Not a good human.
@@BlobRob787 it just doesn't make any sense to me. Someone who had worked and was loyal to him for decades...
Also, why was he making such awful money when he was working for one of the top radio shows at the time? He couldn't afford 50k while his boss was making millions hand over first?
I love that girl, "you're rather disgusting and I don't care to give you an example" while keeping eye contact. Such a vibe

I don't regret my past and I've done dumb s**t.
It seems Howard is remorseful and you can tell... but damn covid era: he got too insane.
Two reasons I'll always hate people that try to "reinvent their image" later in life is,
1. This reinvention never comes when they are at their zenith of popularity. It always comes way after this are washed up in terms of popularity.
2. Instead of making up for decades of being a piece of shit, they instead act like a moral arbiter choosing instead to criticize younger people who do the same dumb shit they once did. They literally pull up the ladder from younger people who haven't learned decades of lessons like they have.
Howard Stern is firmly on fraud watch.
Nailed it!
Exactly.
Are we meant to revere him because after 40 years of being an asshole, he’s said “you know, I was a bit of an asshole. Being an asshole is bad guys, don’t do it”. The bar is in hell.
If he’s that ashamed of his work, he could use his billions to buy back his catalog and have it taken out of public reach. Take it offline.
Do something that would actually be of personal cost to him. Instead, as you say, he continues to enjoy the fruit of his shameful labour while lecturing others about behaving shamefully.
Minimally, he could quit his job. You can’t be that ashamed if you’re still doing the same job.
Take my like! Damn!
He’s not on fraud watch he is a fraud. The only reason he didn’t sell out sooner is because he knew it was working for him and ONLY when he finally feared cancelation did he sell out and not a second early OR a second late.
This includes Steve-O
Can you imagine being the sister and brother of the woman, who's ashes were disrepected that way? Unbelievably disrespectful....

A true "watercooler" show!
Back in 2009 when i was a teenager addicted to opiates, I called the show alot. One time I spoke to Artie and told him I was struggling with drugs. He was saying he was sober, but later found out he was a full blown addict too. However, he texted with me all the time and spoke to me for hours on different occasions. Even though he was struggling just as bad, he tried to help me. I was a huge fan of Norm, Artie, and dirty work. Just the type of person Artie Lange is.
Artie was the greatest addition to the stern show. Once he left, the show immediately went down hill.

I think one thing that inevitably led to his downfall was the massive increase in brash media figures as time went on. When Stern first hit the airwaves no one was as raw as he was, but these days he's just lost in an ocean of content creators who are more extreme than he ever would be. Regardless of what Stern does or say, his novelty is long gone in the modern Information Era.
Wrong!
He moved to Sirius Radio. The content was behind a paywall with less only a couple million subscribers. He signed a $500M deal with Sirius over 5 years. And less than a year later RUclips was founded.
He chose the wrong platform. That was his downfall. Having a closed platform meant his show could not stay as big or continue to grow.

I love how he denied saying the n-word sitting at a table with whoopi when in reality he said the n-word in a skit he was making fun of whoopi in lol
Yep, cowardly, like most bullies.
Hate to break it to you, but the mere mention of the N word wasn't verboten back then. It was never a classy word to say, but the fact we're saying "N word" instead of the actual word, is inspired by the Michael Richards on-stage meltdown. Black leaders insisted they don't ever want to hear the word spoken. Most of us are fine with that, what's one word out of our vocabulary to make peace with the word's ugliness.
Thing is, unless you were directing it at someone in particular, it wasn't a cancel situation back then. People could use it in all sorts of contexts, including skits. The Stern show wasn't unique in that respect. When Howard had Black community leaders on his show after the Richards rant, he agreed he would not mention the word on his show anymore, and all content with the word would no longer be played.
Hell, they used to intro post-breaks with really racist hillbilly music ("The house next door to me's been sold to N..."), it was a totally different time. The words that aren't allowed now, were contextually acceptable in all public media. What we call the "R word" was used by doctors on news broadcasts, the slurs of that time are forbidden words now.
Context is important. Back in the 60s & 70s, "blackface" was crude but not cancel-culture. Not saying things aren't better now, they are - but it wasn't malicious back then. Your grandparents' conversations in the old days would blow your hair back today.
He said to Eazy e
No... *Your grandparent's conversations in the old days*... im pretty certain, anyone randomly saying the N word without tons of money for their security would have been beaten, or off-ed back then 100% especially in the 80s and 90s. To be fair, the problem with the woke crowd is they don't understand context and refuse to ....
... to be fair, a decade or two ago, people used the N word just to look cool and mix with the cool crowd, not as an insult at all. In those days, sometimes, the N word was even used to show that one is not racist against black people, to show that one can mix with black people to adopt black culture (as the N word was used by black people to mean a brotherly term of affinity, even black people themselves forgot the historical demeaning nature of the word)... its always been this way when one wishes to show respect for another culture, you adopt that culture's practices. Its like when you visit a traditional japanese home, you take off your shoes ... and the historical context of the N word was not a widely known thing back then, some words lost its former meaning until its brought up again in a big way, its all about context ... its illogical and unjustified to demonise someone by disregarding the circumstances that those people existed in ...

Whilst that may be an accurate analysis of his shortcomings, he’s still going to be remembered for decades and has been what many would consider to be a massive success! He’s in the entertainment business and absolutely nailed that for 35+ years. Kudos to him, I say..
I never comment, so go easy on me. I honestly feel like when someone like Howard Stern garners a massive amount of attention it reflects more on the general public than most of us realize. The general public essentially made this man famous, whether it be they enjoyed his content or they love to hate him. They still made him a “star”
I used to notice people criticizing him for a trait I thought they had. An arrogant coworker thinking he was arrogant happened a few times.
True. I agree completely. But it doesn't excuse him and his actions. Germany made Hitler right??
@@seanmartinflix No of course, in my opinion his humor is vulgar and honestly not really funny sometimes. But I do see how he could appeal to so many people doing and saying things he’s done. Honestly I’m a younger guy so I can’t say I know what society was like at the time, I was simply too young. But boy it’s very telling and interesting.
I don't think his fame had anything to do with reflecting on society. Controversy and pushing boundaries has often gotten more attention, e.g. Madannona, Ga Ga, etc. being more vulgar, wearing a meat dress, etc., and IMO they actually have helped influence the social direction (which IMO has generally been on a downard trajectory). I preferred Zappa by far for controversial and vulgar humor and always viewed Stern as being a complete POS. I wasn't at all surprised to see him turn out just like other garbage celebrities trying to force others to conform to their/establishment views.
Well you’re not lying.
The thing about Howard is that the moment someone does something that can be labeled as "subtlely anti-Semetic" that is where he draws the line and has always drawn the line, even back in the 90s.

When the show was getting really bad my favorite part was when the black UFO wackpacker would call in and call him a vampiric two-faced arch jew who grievously underpaid his staff, since it would invariably make Stern stop the whole show so that he and Robin could throw a half hour pity party for himself. well i think he would agree that you have to be a narcissist to get into talk radio. you love to hear yourself talk and you love to hear people kiss your ass. Howard only got into radio because he had "father hunger" and wanted to be loved and accepted by his father and the only way he could see that approval happening was doing what his father loved....being a radio broadcaster. Now regarding his pay...the man worked for peanuts in the 80s (about 120 per week) and now he's the only reason Sirius XM has any listeners. Let's face it, you aren't buying an XM subscription for the same exact music you can find on demand via Apple Music or Spotify. It is the only thing viable about XM and they give him a generous salary because of it. Secondly, Howard is worth way more than his staffers! It is HIS SHOW AFTER ALL so he should be paid the most. @@shaniaaaa1 Spoken by someone who hasnt watched ANY interviews by Howard, who is literally our generations greatest interviewer.
Salutations! Your astute commentary on the nuanced interplay between dark humor and potential insensitivity within the context of Howard Stern's oeuvre has garnered my intellectual interest, and I applaud your inclination toward engaging in cogent discourse.
Howard Stern, an iconic luminary in the annals of entertainment, has undeniably etched an indelible imprint upon the radio and comedic domains. His proclivity for transcending societal norms and challenging the conventions of expectation stands as a testament to his audacious approach to the artistic craft. However, I concur wholeheartedly with your discerning observation that the demarcation between dark humor and manifest insensitivity warrants meticulous examination.
The capricious nature of humor, being inherently subjective, is a multifaceted facet of human expression. The comedic resonance that one individual may discern as amusing is, invariably, fraught with the potential to be construed as offensive by another. In the case of Stern, his proclivity for pushing the envelope of edgy comedy has elicited both accolades and critiques alike. It is imperative, then, to undertake a judicious dissection of specific instances wherein the boundary between dark humor and potential insensitivity may ostensibly blur.
Conducting a discerning analysis of instances where Stern's comedic verve may have strayed into ostensibly offensive terrain invites the cultivation of a more refined perspective. In this intellectual discourse, I am intrigued to learn of your perspicacious observations concerning the evolutionary trajectory of Stern's comedic style and the instances wherein he has adroitly navigated the precarious dichotomy between boundary-pushing and the conscientious acknowledgement of cultural sensitivities.
Moreover, the overarching inquiry into how we, as connoisseurs of comedy, can actively contribute to the cultivation of an environment that not only upholds the tenets of freedom of expression but also conveys an acute awareness of the potential impact of potentially injurious content upon diverse sensibilities is of paramount importance. The equipoise between preserving the sanctity of expressive freedom and recognizing the potential ramifications of ostensibly offensive content constitutes a formidable conundrum.
Eagerly anticipating the privilege of delving further into the labyrinthine corridors of your intellectual acuity, I implore you to expound upon your erudite insights. Let us perpetuate this dialogue with an unwavering commitment to intellectual curiosity, thereby fostering an ambiance wherein diverse perspectives harmoniously converge in the crucible of constructive discourse. Scott was trying to raise $50,000. I think it's funny how Howard had a war with Imus for decades and at the end, he pretty much turned into a younger version of Imus.
Younger? He's pretty much the same age now haha
@@KokoTheGorilla69 He LOOKS about as decrepit and curmudgeonly as Imus now that's for sure.
@@KokoTheGorilla69 yes he is, but it happened years later.
I have been saying that for years!!!!
to be honest, he was himself from start to end - people sponsored and backed him for ratings, then people kept listening, and kept watching, its different from others where people didn't know what was going on behind the scenes like mainstream Hollywood movies -- everything was aired, everything was seen. its hard to chastise Howard that much when everyone was always seeing exactly who they were going to hire, who they were listening to, who they were watching. for better or worse people wanted to tune in. but as everything is - what comes up, must come down. ( btw i never watched or listened to him - i just want to point out that everyone in management had every opportunity to fire him from start to finish)
The problem with "shock jocks" is as they try to one up themselves they will eventually go to far or overplay their hand.
Whats also ironic is he has the most fragile ego for someone who used the tactic of diminishing everyone else's self esteem to build so much notoriety until he was famous. Its rather amusing to watch him spiral over the most moderate criticisms about his relevance, substance, or quality of his ghost-authored novels.
Most sociopath do , that is where the anti-social behavior comes in.
He is just a functioning sociopath, but a sociopath nonetheless.
Your last line is "there will never be another Howard Stern" and to that I say... THANK GOD!!!
Too bad the guy is now scared to be in public. Typical bully.
