It’s fine , it was my fault , I sent it too hard on kill map which is 451 452 , and back to back like 15 times isn’t gonna help , we’ll be back ! Thanks
Damn bro. sucks it popped but legit im happy you are keeping the car and getting it back online sooner than later. Trust me I seen guys that have drift cars pop multiple motors In a row . But the knowledge you gain from experience is 2nd to none . Every engine has a formula to laat long. Usually the owner gets use to it and turns it up then she go boom
@@MannyVQ do you have an oil temp gauge? That probably would have help if you noticed the oil/ engine block was hot af and was getting to its limit to probably chill out …… oil temp was probably high af before it blew up
Damn no way this is so unlucky man :( At least now we know the hard limit of the DE, looks like 10+ pulls of a 450 wheel kill map the limit on a stock block. Best of luck rebuilding her for the future and can’t wait to see the next upload
Sorry you popped the motor, something I did notice is you said rise the oil lines out. I’ve already been where you are but anything that had the old oil in it gotta get changed. I blew my stock motor at 18 psi. I’m fully built now at 550 everything turned down.
Big fan of you and not ish. Getting ready to boost mine in stock block and preparing the second one for a bit more. Gonna try to keep it around 350-370 with torque on the lower side.😅
With your turbo that low are you running a scavenger pump for the oil return? And are you on stock headers? Stock headers will make too much torque and you'll compress your rods.
Yes I’m on stock headers and I noticed it wants to make a lot of torque early and drop off , so I’ll be installing these new equal length shorty headers on to help , Also no my turbo is oil less and is grease fed
nascar drivers never look back they blow engines all day n and keep a spare it’s part of the game all good content keep it coming we watching from Newyork vQ family all day 🦾
were you on e85?? Or just 91? E85 runs cooler allows for boost with some less risk I’m on a de with a boosted performance kit at 66k original miles hovering 400whp wanna crank it up 1-2 psi on e thank you for making this video learned a bit from it!
I'm afraid to start building mine now :))) I was into your channel and was hyped af seeing you getting this done and now I'm like... oh, ok... maybe not? I guess a rod went nuts and did that to the block right?
I had a feeling this would happen soon seeing it was a stock engine that already had a vortech. I been boosted with a vortech supercharger for 2 plus years and recently swapped another stock 1. Part of the game forsure.
Godamnnn, from my research to be safe low 400 torque is a safe bet. I’m not done watching the video but do a compression check and since the engine is out bro go ahead and change the oil gallery gaskets and maybe some service inside the timing cover.
Yeah did that already 190 psi every cylinder Jdm motor. Also these stock headers do not help either I will be going over what I’ve noticed in my dyno graph and I will compare to the new headers in the next video soon
Why not upgrade to 06-07 just transfer everything into the 06-07 they have better interior design as a plus you can add a Tesla style screen on those year models
bro at least do piston, rods, oil gallery gaskets while that motor is already out. also upgraded head studs. will be much worth it, than possibly going through all that work of a engine swap to possibly blow that motor also. might not of been your motor was weak with miles, just the de doesnt handle well with trq on stock rods

Never give up, engine or no engine we still gon support you❤. Minor step back for major comeback👊🏻
When you announced your whp numbers on stock block I had a feeling this would happen gotta keep it around 400 man 😂

Im assuming the rods completely snapped! I wonder what caused the puncture though 🤔

That sucks but that's the risk we take with power. I guess "Kill Mode" really means Kill. You'll be back and take it easy
Dam that was quick lol
Well be back just as quick

@@TacticalTunic4 I have that already , temps were okay , below 200 ,

Damn bro been excited for your comeback 😭 but it’s all gonna be worth it coming back harder then ever !🙏🏽
Daaaamn bro I’m sorry, you’ll come back hard it’s just part of the process
Time for some forged internals, cant wait to see the car back!
Damn bro we were just talking about how you hope this motor would last! All part of the game though, you’ll be back soon 💪

Sorry for you. Keep it up and thanks for sharing your experience. Very valuable info there. Looking forward to next vid, Cheers!
No problem , this will be a quick come back , I want to make a breakdown video also and have a lot of idea , main thing rn is to have it running asap
Noooo. Did you put rod bearings before turbo? It still dope AF and it's part of the process. Keep going papa! 👍

crazy my g35 motor also blew up but it blew up on freeway a few weeks ago
At least you boosted it. Shoulda hr swaped it. 500 would be nothing for an hr. That’s the low map

I don’t have e85 pumps where I live , so I’m running water meth
I think you’ll be good with a new motor, should be able to hold 400-450 max reliable for while , 230wheel to 400 wheel is a huge difference
Yeah definitely
Can't believe it happened so soon lol, gonna come back stronger than ever though!
Thank you for the support I’ll remember these days ! 🙏

How many miles were on the blown motor?

Build the motor bro 😎
Damm:( ended quick:(
Yeah but we back quick dw
@@MannyVQ let’s goooooo
Damn man
Get another spare motor and build the internals to handle that power and keep it to the side for when needed lol
