i’m just here trying to decide which console to get due to the corona virus.. UPDATE: lol to everyone who liked and comment. thank you. never had so much attention jk. i ended up purchasing the xbox one s only because it was so much cheaper. honestly, who cares about the quality or how new the x is. i have a 4k tv and the quality of the s is still amazing. i’m pretty sure others will say that the x is better but like bro come on stfu.it’s about $200 cheaper. you can use that extra $200 on other shit like hoarding up your pantry with food and toilet paper. bruh i used that extra $200 on two games (gta5 and bo3), an extra controller, a charging station, and found myself a case of water, toilet paper and food rather than using all that money on one console. think smart people. not only that you’ll be stuck in boredom, but you’re sure most likely gunnabe hungry or run out of toilet paper.
I also have a 55 inch 4k tv. Thanks for clearing my doubt about whether the one s is good for it because the video pretty much said buy one x if its a 4k tv.
@@nitink5123 I have xbox one S in 58 inch tv it's good. But if you have not bought it yet go for series S it's good and pretty cheap. It does not have native 4k but you can only truly see the difference if you sit really close.
I would go for the Xbox one s because I don't have a 4k and I have not planned to get one also i don't really care about graphics. Edit: yes I know Xbox one s has 4k but it is not true native 4k it is only upscaled 4k but still it is a great little machine for a small price!
Captain Saturn I like the Xbox one s 2tb version cause it has the most hard drive space than the Xbox one x even though you can use external hard drives on both of them
Captain Saturn You can still wait a while and get better deals for the Xbox one x. I’m still going to wait until they come out with more colors and limited editions although I’m just waiting for them to come out with a white version of the x. They have to make more colors for it if they want more people to buy the x.
Own them both, friends play 1080p, 40", while I run my Scorpio via 4k side by side...some games look so amazingly improved on the X, that it looks like a new gen...you have to check this out to believe it.
I've got 2 X's, two S's and a phat, both the Xs have issues already and all the others are chugging along just fine. The X is riddled with problems and honestly, I wouldn't buy one again. Performance difference isn't all that much when they all have SSDs in them.
I’ve had the Xbox One S for a year and a half now and I love it. Even though, I’m kinda getting tired of Xbox and thinking about selling it for a gaming PC. But I would recommend getting an S instead of X. It’s just that it’s more powerful which really doesn’t matter unless if you’re a hardcore gamer.
This video was very helpful in narrowing my choice down. haven't bought a console in over a decade. Specially when prices in 2020 are now comparable between the two.
I didn't think I was going to like the Xbox One ecosystem but I ended up loving it. The intercompatibility is great and the consoles themselves are fast, quiet, and seemingly pretty reliable. Also, with DevMode and Retroarch, emulators are dead easy to get running. I have an external HDD loaded with all of my favorite OG console games. Xbox One X can definitely play most if not all PS1 games locked full speed on the newest updates, which makes it a gem for me. All the couch-worthy JRPGs :D It even plays a few easier N64 games full speed. All the 2D consoles it can do with gusto and it has many really high quality, well known, and actively supported emulators available. I can use bSnes Mercury Balanced on my console with CRT filters just the same as my PC. That's huge. I can play my childhood favorites in the living room with spectacular audio/video quality and sometimes major upgrades. The Series S and Series X don't really benefit THAT much from their updated GPUs, at least versus the Xbox One X. One X has an RX580 it's still a pretty capable modern GPU. However the new consoles' 3GHz+ Ryzen CPUs are at a whole other level, and they are FAR better emulation machines. Gamecube and PS2 are perfectly within their abilities. That said, the abilities of my One X are indispensable to me. I have loved using both of my Xbox Ones. If you already have a gaming PC, they're a handy little support box for everything else. I use mine to get out of the cave once in a while and shake some dust off the home theater. I can't ask for much better than what it does.
So, basically, if I don’t record videos for RUclips, then I might as well just get the S instead if the X Seeing as the S still plays blue ray and can transition to 4K?
I just bought X. It’s awesome compared to xaomi s, raspberry pi 2, ps4 pro and my Blu-ray player. I am using this on my 4k Sony x900 and optima u50( doesn’t recommend this u50, better look for frame interpolation projector). But my point is Xbox one X run smoothly for my both display devices. I bought this only for streaming and Blueray. It does support my pioneer sc lx901 wit all hdcp 2.2 pass through with hdr and 4K. But I did buy hdmi optical cable for my projector which cost me $120. I tried many devices , this Xbox one X made me satisfied. If you are looking for console for home theater system, X definitely defeats PS pro. This are my experience and like to share. In addition if you are going to buy sub woofer, don’t buy ported sub woofer. It don’t reproduce punchy bass, go for close box. M using KEF Q950 series for all 5.2 channels. No offense. :)
Even if you have just a 1080p display you still have an advantage over the base Xbox One S. On Xbox One X you will have more support for 60fps gaming at 1080p you will also have more games run at 1080p versus the Xbox One S where it even struggles to even run most games at 1080p. Let's take a game like Red Dead Redemption 2 on Xbox One S I believe that game probably runs at something like 800p to 900p whereas on Xbox One X it's going to run at a true Native 1080p resolution and it will have a more stable FPS of 30 FPS. So that means your FPS won't drop below 30 as much as it would on Xbox One S.
I'm getting the xbox one s cuz of the price. The difference in performance isn't that big enough for me to go for the x. Plus I'll be satisfied with the graphics of the s no problem Maybe ill go for the xbox 2 when it comes out
Sorry but you are dead wrong. The xbox one X outperforms the xbox one S in everything. Xbox one X has a 2017 Polaris 6.2 teraflop GPU running at 1.2 GHz and it has a 2.3 ghz CPU vs the xbox one S which has a 2013 1.4 teraflop GPU running at 915 mhz with a CPU running at 1.75 GHz so yes performance wise the Xbox one X obliterates the xbox one S. The GPU in the xbox one X is 4 generations ahead of the xbox one S GPU and on top of that, the xbox one X has 12gb of GDDR5 ram vs the xbox one S slow GDDR3. All in all, the xbox one X is 4.6 times more powerful than the xbox one s. Youre dead wrong by saying that difference in performance isnt that big when it is definitely much bigger
Thank you for clarifying this for me. I am a PS4 guy but I want Forza Horizon. I dont have a 4K screen so my answer is obvious and even then unless is over 50" you dont see the difference.
I recently invested in the xbox one x and it is a much better console than any other with amazing graphics highspeed preformance it is certainly worth your money
I've noticed that on my brother's Xbox One S, you can set it up so that games can run at either 60 fps or 120 fps and you can also have a 4k resolution downscaled to 1080p, but this will take a heavy toll on the console and will limit most games to 30 fps and even more for games with a lot of action so you have to sacrifice either playability or image quality (don't get me wrong, it still looks good at 1080p).
The 1S can't do 4k at all. Whether upscale or native. Some games will give a 4k option in the settings, but it can't actually support it. The 1X CAN do 4k and that's the main hook.
SyPhOn 123 bc earlier Xbox one x had problems like hdmi not displaying or so on cpu not working stuff like that they fixed it after on the newer Xbox x
It all boils down to value. What are you actually getting for the Xbox One X price tag? The answer is, not much! Not all games are taking advantage of the native 4k resolution so in that regard, why shell out double the price? Also, while you're gaming, are you really taking the time to appreciate the improvement in picture quality? Probably not. And how are you exactly able to see the difference if you didn't have a previous xbox one s to compare? So in essence you wouldn't even know the difference. Save your cash, get yourself an xbox one s, few controllers and all the games you want, you'll probably still have money left over.
Brandon CoX I can’t wait to finally get my own XBOX ONE so that way I can finally have my own and I won’t have to play on my Dad’s because, my Dad got his back in 2015 and I started playing on his for a while but then I decided to quit because every time I played, he would limit my hours and tell me when it’s time to wrap up so he can watch TV or so my little brothers could play well once I get my XBOX ONE X for my birthday, I won’t have to limit my time because, I can play as long as I want to and I can choose when I want to turn it off and watch TV
thanks I was thinking about upgrading to the X until the next gen consoles come out but it seems like I might as well wait. Thanks for saving me a lot of money!
I still have an OG Xbox One, and I just upgraded my tele to a 4k unit. I'm wondering is it worth it to pick up a X or S box? To complement the 4k capabilities? The upscaling or native.
I got my Xbox S 1TB w/ free month access to live gold, gamepass, EA pass and one free game to own for $99.00 with the same 4K Blu-ray player on black Friday at Walmart. I'm a happy camper. There's barely any difference in graphics between the two consoles so why would I want to pay double?
I’m trying to decide if it’s worth it primarily for fallout 4 mods. I kinda want an X to play at 1080 but just make the game run smoother and less frame rate drops. Does anyone have experience with this?
The only one thing that was Inaccurate in the video was the fact that they stated that the Xbox One S does not play in 4K, the Xbox One S can play in 4K, it just has to upscale to it, just like the PS4 Pro does, except the Pro is more powerful. However they would be correct to say the PS4 Slim which was the Xbox One S's competition could not play in 4K, but it does support HDR. Depending on some games I heard the Slim can jump up at certain powers in resolution! Does anyone remember the old days where PS2 could push 1080p on some games although it was a system that couldn't upscale? If I'm correct about that information, I'm pretty sure your TV needs to support HDR to do so, kinda like for the S, (X) and Pro needs a TV that supports 4K. Like what the PS2 did to support underpowered 1080p. That's basically what the PS4 Slim does depending on the games in 4K it can push some pretty good resolutions like 4K out on an HDR 4K TV depending on the games, but it can't upscale to 4K constantly like an Xbox One S and PS4 Pro can, however you're very correct about how the Xbox One X was the first system ever to support Native 4K! Another fun fact is that depending on the specs and power of your TV or monitor, if it's not 4K enabled but is powerful enough to support or run it, the technology inside the Xbox One X has the ability to upscale the TV OR MONITOR to 4K without HDR, but the fact that it can upscale certain TVs and monitors is cool. Keep in mind that the S and Pro upscale themselves! And the X can upscale TVS AND MONITORS to 4K!! However it has to be more modern and powerful enough to do it.. great work on this video! I left a like for this helpful information!
I have them both. On the Xbox one playing gears of war 5 it's like night and day especially when playing campaign mode. The xbox one only plays at 30 fps which to me is unplayable. You will notice when moving around turning the joystick the back ground is not choppy and sluggish it is ultra smooth, clear and crisp because the the xbox one x plays at 60 which is amazing. Also I have 10 year old 40 inch HD tv playing at 1080 p and it looks amazing.
Went with the One S prefer the white, It makes the console stand out in contrast to the rest my setup. Everything looks awesome on the 4k side, and I couldn't pass up Master Chief Collection either! Zero regrets.
@@ThatFletcherGuy. The One X is the best if you actually have 4K. If you just have 1080p, go for the One S, although tbh I'd recommend going for the PS4 Pro because it does provide a noticable difference in framerate and rendering at 1080p compared to the base PS4. But if you're an Xbox fan, the One X is the way to go. I'm actually seeing some One X's sell for the PS4 Pro price, so I'm strongly considering getting one myself even tho i already have the Pro and only a 1080p screen.
Xbox one x FOR SURE. Even if you have a 1080p screen, you should really buy it. Textures will look better, better lighting, better frame rates and 4 times more powerful.
The Xbox one x is 4 times more powerful than the original Xbox, not the one s. If it was 4 times more powerful than the s then it would cost a fortune.
M still confused... logic says get the latest tech (future proof urself for as long as u can) but right now i dun have a 4K tv...i have an almost 8 year old Samsung lcd.. no plans to buy a new one at the moment .. !!!
The Xbox one x will still work the same as it will on a 4k TV the graphics will still look the same as it will on a 1080 - 720p TV I am using the Xbox one s on a 720p TV and the graphics still look the same as it does on a 4k TV and by the way the Xbox one s is 4k and HDR compatible
Trystan Marshall no it’s not. Only movies are played in 4K for the S. The X has 4K gaming. The X also is better on 1080p trust me I have both. The graphics on the X are so much better than S that it’s unbelievable.
Overall, it just makes sense to take the plunge, and go with the X. If you really have a limited budget, and have a choice between an original XB1, and an S, obviously, the S. Always go for the higher performer, in electronics, even if it is about 7% better. You don't know, down the road, if things change, and you do get 4k, you'll be ahead without having to upgrade again.

Save your cash, get yourself an xbox one s, few controllers and all the games you want, you'll probably still have money left over.
Pc. But so expensive nowadays. :(
Xbox S looks beautiful
hellnet88 Hopefully they will come out with a white Xbox one x maybe 2tb but that part unlikely to happen cause it would be more expensive to buy
Alex H Good news Microsoft announced a white Xbox x bundle with fallout 76. Plus a white Xbox one elite controller.
hellnet88 and with pc you always have a shit computer compared to everyone else. No thanks
You can go to Costco. They sell it at the price $299.99 bc 70% off
Yeah. The graphics are amazing
Smart people on budgets will get the S the people that want more bragging rights and have a 4K tv will get the X
Actually the reason why I like the X is because it has a better processor
Also I have a 1080p tv lmao 😂
They're literally the same price now
I liked Xbox One X Enhanced Console with 4K Ultra HD and HDR, another feature.
Who cares about 4K what matters is the engine the game developers use is what makes the graphics realistic and vivid
I bought a xbox one x I love it and I also have a Xbox one and I choose Xbox one x because better performance over other players
Brandon CoX I’m with you on this one cause I’m getting an XBOX ONE X myself for my birthday
Jason Jones it’s great
Brandon CoX I can’t wait to finally get my own XBOX ONE so that way I can finally have my own and I won’t have to play on my Dad’s because, my Dad got his back in 2015 and I started playing on his for a while but then I decided to quit because every time I played, he would limit my hours and tell me when it’s time to wrap up so he can watch TV or so my little brothers could play well once I get my XBOX ONE X for my birthday, I won’t have to limit my time because, I can play as long as I want to and I can choose when I want to turn it off and watch TV
Not Xbox one .... Xbox one S and the S does look and run better than the original idc what this lady says I have both
Gene Hubbard you said the same 2 systems it’s the XBOX ONE S and XBOX ONE X
thanks I was thinking about upgrading to the X until the next gen consoles come out but it seems like I might as well wait. Thanks for saving me a lot of money!
I still have an OG Xbox One, and I just upgraded my tele to a 4k unit. I'm wondering is it worth it to pick up a X or S box? To complement the 4k capabilities? The upscaling or native.
I'm getting the S on the 17 I prefer it over the x
Aiden Pierce the x is about 20 times more powerful
Aiden Pierce let’s get it right you just don’t have the money to buy the x
Luke Petersen ik that
Brandon CoX nice
AnutDraws yes I did enjoy it I've been playing it 24/7 hell I'm playing it right now
Who has a Xbox one s in 2019?
Ruby Hewitt me got one on my bday and it’s awesome
I've waited so many years to upgrade my xbox 360, I think I'll go for xbox one X but I hope they won't release a new console right after that
musiclover same issue, I hope they won't release now. It may take 2 more years
The new consoles are getting released around 2021. I seen it in some article on Sony's website.
The xbox x series coming in 2020
I got my Xbox S 1TB w/ free month access to live gold, gamepass, EA pass and one free game to own for $99.00 with the same 4K Blu-ray player on black Friday at Walmart.
I don't have 4k tv so.. Im going to the one S
But X cost doubled than S .
LOVE the first did u read
I have a xbox one x hooked up to a 43 inch 4k tcl enhanced xbox one x games look amazing
Who tf plays on a tv anymore
Us.
Yeah
Me
people.... ye know?
Me on my 4K UHD FLAT SCREEN tv
If I spend 8 or 900 on a phone a 500 dollar system that I’ll have for years isn’t bad imo 🤷🏽♂️
I swear an Xbox One S has 4K Blu-Ray
I have them both. On the Xbox one playing gears of war 5 it's like night and day especially when playing campaign mode. The xbox one only plays at 30 fps which to me is unplayable. You will notice when moving around turning the joystick the back ground is not choppy and sluggish it is ultra smooth, clear and crisp because the the xbox one x plays at 60 which is amazing. Also I have 10 year old 40 inch HD tv playing at 1080 p and it looks amazing.
Merci beaucoup pour votre vidéo ☺️. J'ai acheté la Xbox one s!
I don't have 4K, because I'm cheap, so I'm going for the S!
A 50" 4K tv is only like $180
@@chanceadams5157ur father making that TV.. aren't he
@@chanceadams5157 lol thats funny
@@todd6755 ok my bad 280$ my mom just got a RCA 50" 4k TV from Walmart for Christmas. Y'all thinking a 4k TV is like 1,000$ and shit.
@@chanceadams5157 lol the quality must be shit.
Great video! You helped me make up my mind.
Went with the One S prefer the white, It makes the console stand out in contrast to the rest my setup. Everything looks awesome on the 4k side, and I couldn't pass up Master Chief Collection either! Zero regrets.
true
The X is useless unless you already have a quality 4K TV.
Unless you want better frame rates, better looks, full 1080p (unlike a lot of xbox's games)
I have a 4K tv and don’t know which one to get
Or a 4k monitor with hdmi
This is the big thing, there's a massive difference between a $2000 TV and a $500 TV, rather invest in a better TV.
Since you asked me a question can I ask you a question.why don't you have about 500,000 to 1,000,000 subs. This channel is awesome
The xbox one s is good for me -_- play on 720P only. And still its beautiful.
Already bought Xbox one x
Very helpful. Makes my decision much easier
@LYNZIE VANPELT I would love to know also
I like the Xbox one x
Clear and concise, thanks...
Xbox one x FOR SURE. Even if you have a 1080p screen, you should really buy it. Textures will look better, better lighting, better frame rates and 4 times more powerful.
Even if you do have a stock xbox one, or xbox one s, I would still get the X
That’s my current setup right now lol Full HD 1080p TV with an Xbox one X.
@RE fan i am buying one today . still playing on the xbox arcade
Bought the X..... 👻😝👻😝👻
flyingwaiter how was it on your Samsung?
Here in Toronto Ontario Xbox one S and Xbox one X costs $379.
Very informative Xbox One S it is, there's zero chance of me getting a 4k TV anytime in the near or even far future.
Most of the TVs in my house r 4K so I don’t want to put them to waste by buying a s (my opinion) so I have an X
@@trentmikels5260 lol so did i just get a 4k tv for nothing???
David Moreno yeah m8
Who got a Xbox one s In 2020
Overall, it just makes sense to take the plunge, and go with the X. If you really have a limited budget, and have a choice between an original XB1, and an S, obviously, the S. Always go for the higher performer, in electronics, even if it is about 7% better. You don't know, down the road, if things change, and you do get 4k, you'll be ahead without having to upgrade again.
Xbox one s
Muhammad Shakeel agreed
Agreed
Hmm, let me take a look at what broke people have to say in the comment section
DOE PLATFORM Everyone's still waiting for your reply 🤣🤣
I have a 1080P TV and HDR no 4K should I get the S or the X?
TrollezPlaysYT I would say the S.
For you s for you tv
X=$500 S=$150 seems like a pretty simple choice for me
You can find the Xbox One X on Gamestop for $250 if you have one around you and if they have it in stock, and Ebay has them for about the same price.
In uk s = 180$ and X =250$
We are also getting xbox one s if my brother gets great marks In exam
