I am 56 Which can be a difficult age to lose weight at a reasonable pace. Your program has been so inspirational, it really showed me that it doesn't have to be difficult to make healthy meals. And it's possible to exercise in moderation with results, and avoid feeling like you have to overheat and practically have a heart attack in the process.

I followed your meal and workout plan a few years ago after having my first baby and wanting to be in better shape before attending a wedding in Mexico. The plan was enjoyable And I saw results!
It's really nice to see someone create realistic portion sizes of healthy foods. The mental aspect of losing weight is the biggest hurdle to overcome and usually where people fail, especially long term. There is nothing more dispiriting than looking down at a plate with a tiny amount of low cal, tasteless food.

I don't know who else experiences this. But whenever I heat up chicken in the microwave like if I'm at work. I feel like the chicken has a funny taste that I just can't eat it. I don't know how to describe it.
I love all what you do, I follow you since a year now. I only made few of the recipes as my country doesn't have Avocado, Chia seed, sweet potato, organic milk, Greek yogurt , tofu, cherry tomato, soy, blur berries and if there are any, would be veryyy expensive. But overall , the ones i made were delicious and still make em till today! Tysm :) and sorry for my English.

Here's a random snack idea/tip: u can cut a cantaloupe in half, spoon out the seeds and eat it as if it is a bowl of fruit. Half of the whole cantaloupe is only 93/94 calories. It's filled with water and fiber and since the quantity is big, it leaves u very full. But on another note, while it has plenty of carbs, it does lack healthy fats & protein so I would just have it a half hour/hour before a meal just to hold me over or if I am having a sweet tooth cuz u won't really get hours of sustained energy from this. It does satisfy cravings tho and fill u up a lot
Hi! I reached out last year. But didn’t hear back. I tried your meal plan and purchased 2 years ago and definitely saw a different in a week. My question is now I’m having health issues and was advised to go more plant based. My question is; how do you manage to constantly keep fresh produce fresh during the week. Once in portion everything out there is plenty of leftovers and it’s wasted!

Sorry love but I only meal prep for my lunchs at work. I love cooking and I hate eat the same thing everyday. Eating variation is more healthy than eating the same thing evereday. Another thing! I'm a health dieteticien for the past 20 years.

One little tip is to use citrus at the end of cooking if you really wanna taste it, heating up citrus kinda mutes the flavor

Downshiftology has a bunch of handy food storage tips. Depending on the item, you may need to store in water, freeze, airtight, etc . Hope it helps!

Sorry love but I only meal prep for my lunchs at work. I love cooking and I hate eat the same thing everyday. Eating variation is more healthy than eating the same thing evereday. Another thing! I'm a health dieteticien for the past 20 years.
