Your stitched finishes are so beautiful! I especially love your Autumn Sampler. The specialty sticthes really add some cool details. And I love the teal frame you picked out for the Christmas piece. It's an unexpected choice but really pulls the colors in the stitched piece.

Great job. I've heard some people stitch on the smaller counts with beading needles, might try it. I love the pony needles but haven't stitched on more than 40 count but they feel a lot thinner

I love seeing all of your finishes. My husband and I are moving into a new to us house at the beginning of August. I have not cross stitched in probably the last 3 years, so I am hoping that once we get moved and feel more settled that I will have time to work on some projects again. I just went online and ordered the Hilda Boo and Sunflowers Too! pattern by Brenda Gervais | With Thy Needle & Thread. Anyway, I really wish that I knew someone local to me who was a linen stitcher where they could teach me how to stitch on linen. I have had a couple of different people send me some scrap pieces of linen to try, and for the life of me, I have just never been able to figure it out. After much trying (and admittedly a whole lot of frustration) I did eventually figure out how to stitch on lugana. But linen stitching still remains an unsolved mystery. I have often thought if I could find someone who would be willing to send me a small piece of linen with some stitches put in that maybe seeing where the stitches actually go on the fabric would be a useful teaching trick. Maybe then I would have that "Ah hah!" lightbulb moment. But linen threads often tend to not be even, so I really don't even know where to begin or where the stitches are even supposed to go. But I always love the look of finished projects stitched on linen, but until I can somehow figure it out, I guess I will be forever destined to be a lugana stitcher.

Stitching on linen is the same as lugana! Still going over 2 fabric threads, it can be tricky sometimes because the threads are uneven but you still just go over 2! Hilda boo and sunflowers too is such a cute chart!

If you enjoy westerns, you would probably enjoy “1883”. I believe it’s some kind of peak prequel to Yellowstone which I did not watch because I don’t have that channel but I did enjoy 1883 and then “1928” another prequel - was excellent as well.

I hope you planted the shrubs far enough from your HVAC system. The mature plant size needs to end up at least 2 feet away from the HVAC. And not within 5 feet over the top.

Hi Jordan. I just love the Pumpkin Patch Farm you recently finished and I would love to give the pattern, fabric and floss to my sister for her birthday. However, when I looked at the pattern on line and saw all the silks used, albeit the less expensive ones, I decided it would be way more money than I can afford. Did you use all the called for floss/silks? Was there a DMC conversion provided with the chart? I would really appreciate any information you could provide. Thanks so much! Pat Tackaberry. P.S. I forgot to say what a beautiful job you did. I can't wait to see it framed. 😊

Hi Pat! There is no Dmc conversion provided, I was given one made by a friend in the group I stitched it with, message me on insta and I’ll share it with you
