All your framed pieces are beautiful!! I especially loved your rose sampler. I also stitched that sampler, in DMC 336, and framed it myself. It was a challenging piece to do with that tiny single stitch border. Yours is beautiful in the red! I also have My Home in the Garden, kitted with DMC, ready to start. I also want to stitch all the seasons of the heart patterns too! I loved your Flosstube! Well done and so enjoyable to watch. 😂

Love your recent finishes! I think it's so cute that your son is so excited to have the cross stitch hung in his room! I had a HORRIBLE framing experience at Hobby Lobby and refuse to let a box store touch my piece again. They literally left holes in my fabric that were visible when they finally got it straightened (perhaps from nails??). I made them remove my piece and refused to pay for it.
Wow! I’ve been so tempted to do that sometimes but that social anxiety and people pleasing behavior comes out and I just cannot 🤣 props to you for standing up for yourself Raquel!!!
Your FFO’s are wonderful. I am a true believer in as long as it brings you joy. I frame most of my own pieces and have had great successes and some that no matter how many times I try, I could not get perfectly even borders. Sometimes you just give up and do your best knowing that your best is better than most “professional’s” work. I have a special piece that I do need to get framed and luckily I found a needlework framer in my town. Phew!
Michaels framing unfortunately depends on the expertise of the local staff. I lucked out with the framing dept. manager having a lot of experience with pinning and stretching and she did a great job. I sat on pins and needles while waiting!

I LOVE the manic happy sorry not sorry laughing at # of new starts and hauls. I understand that feeling so much. LOVE. IT. I recently went to a store for the first time and I bought so much they "joked" that I must have gotten a raise. I think I left with like 40+ CGT.
I have a piece being framed at Micheal's and I hope they do a good job I just got burned at Hobby Lobby and had them redo both pieces. The repeat was much better . Years ago Hobby Lobby did a bunch of mine and they all were great, but I am sure with the time passing, there are different framers now. I also would love to learn how you pin. If the Micheal's piece does not turn out, I am willing to do it myself, but would love some hints and tips on how to be successful. I have not found anything for a helpful tutorial so far. Your finishes look great and even your sampler with those single straight lines. Thanks!!!
