Thank you, thank you, thank you. Your suggestion for using beads (Pineberry Lane, Merry & Bright) instead of French knots was a fantastic solution for my year old dilemma. I stitched a mermaid for my granddaughter, but couldn"t get the bubble streams to look right, or even show up. Now they even look like real bubbles, they show up, and they add more sparkle (in addition to Kreinik metallic thread I already used). I can't thank you enough for your inspiration! My Belle de Mer looks perfect now. Merci beaucoup!

I love it, we also watch A Christmas Story on Christmas Eve and It's A Wonderful Life on Christmas Day! If you haven't seen them already, a few others we really like are The Family Man with Nicolas Cage and Tea Leoni, The Holiday with Kate Winslet, and the animated Christmas Carol with Jim Carrey.

'Love Actually' is one of my favourite movies too and I was pleased to hear you mention it! Might have to re-watch it at some point over Christmas! It'll probably be on TV on one of the channels here in the UK! In one of your videos you mentioned that you might like to see 'Cranford' - did you? I watched the first series that is based on the book and one of the Christmas specials (the second one I think it was because my mum wanted to see it) but the second series only uses the characters from the book. The BBC extended the story to make another series but made up the plot if that makes sense. Anyhow, I hope you and your family have a lovely Christmas and that you get a chance to catch your breath over the next couple of weeks! Thank you so much for sharing all your stitching with us! I made a jalapeño popper cheese ball this week. Hubs loves a cheeseball. This one was good. I loved it too. I mean, bacon makes everything better. Red One on prime, maybe Hulu, wasn’t bad. It was cute. Give it a go.

I think the floss looks good on both fabrics but I think the Hemingway might be too mottled for that pattern.
