Dope! Being that it's 5 months later, what are your current thoughts on this hat press? I don't know how necessary it is to have the extra different sized platens but I'm trying to decide on this Wala press or the HPN Signature hat press.. any honest info will be greatly appreciated. Temperature is 305? Why my walakut puff say 285? 🤔😭. I tried with a hat press to press a sleeve of a shirt and it failed lol. But it was just fine on a hoodie on a regular clampshell heat press at 285.

I've learned that all of this stuff is more trial and error lol. I've also learned to just go with the settings that better fit our machines now. Lol. 🙏🏽😁

How would you account for the seam down the middle of the hat?

Honestly, I hate those hats! 🤣🤣🤣. I avoid them unless I'm pressing to the sides of them so that I can avoid dealing with that center line. I've had too many issues with the center lines and transfers sticking in the line, unless I do an embroidered hat.
