Loved the different methods of heat pressing on hats. I've got a very simple and a HUMBLE heat press 3 in 1. I've done over 400 tee shirts, clothing bags etc for our Newfoundland Club with the heat press but for hats I was worried. After watching your video, I rolled up my sleeves and decided to get my numerous hats I bought my 6 year grandson. Its 2 years that I promised him. Thanks for sharing and caring. Recommendations for hat press machines that don’t have the handle to pull it down. I put towels inside the hat to get more pressure pushing up on it.

Your vinyl rolls on the wall, what are you using to hold them up?
Does the machine stretch the hat out when it pulls it down to hold it in place?
Hi Bonnie, no the machine does not stretch out the cap during the application. The lever is designed to pull the hat tight over the platen and hold in place during heat application, but it should rebound perfectly after application.
So how would you press a cap brim without bending it?
