Worth mentioning, if you like Twenty One Pilots you'll probably like my band called Raccoon Tour. We also have ukulele, sad lyrics, and tons of lore... and a new album coming out eventually. Our song "Cactus Song" goes hard. Thank you for tolerating my self promo. I'm going to go cry myself to sleep now.
i stan raccoon tour
RACCOON TOUR FOR EVER
Please drop the new album soon, Cactus Song is one of your best songs and if the rest of the album is like that then it's gonna be a banger.
Rt goes hard
Your band is literally twenty one pilots combined with one of those modern indie bands like Cage the Elephant, The Moss, or Wild Party
I loved the part of in the song "Clancy" where Tyler Joseph sings "It's Clancyin time" then proceeds to Clancy it up 💯💯💯
pretty much the music video to overcompensate
are people still making these jokes
this is what i sound like when i try to explain twenty one pilots to my friends sober
Honestly, Trench has aged like fine wine. While Scaled and Icy was meh/alright, but Clancy is a good comeback that has a mixture of their discography
A new Nate video? And a drunk review while I am also drunk? What is this, Christmas?
No this is Patrick
while nate, I will never understand the SAI slander, clancy is a good album and it's always a treat to see you wasted and rambling
agreed, sai is a great album no matter what the rest of the clique says smh
it's a crime they didn't include that minute or so of silence in the paladin strait music video, it's lowk one of my favorite parts of the song and it's not even music
At first, At the Risk of Feeling Dumb was my least favorite song on the album, but after a few listens it really started to grow on me and now it's one of my favorites. I don't know what it was but it really hit nicely.
Agreed. The lyrics, although straightforward, are impactful and are very relatable. Also the production/instrumental of the track is superb
Happy 69th NateIsLame video
A momentous occasion really
At the risk of feeling dumb is the best song on the album!!!
And scaled and icy is incredible!!

I thought is wanna gonna be the senior year guide :(, but still always good when Nate uploads and an amazing video.
“it sounds like a vitamin commercial” for Oldies Station is so cutting but also so accurate, i choked when i tried to gasp and laugh at the same time
Waiting on that senior year survival guide.
Twenty one pilots is probably the only band who can make a bad album and there fans will still defend it by saying yeah it’s bad but that’s the point 😂
I'm a bit shocked that the opinions you have on this video are pretty much the same as the ones that I have on the songs, and I've definitely started to like some songs more and some songs less.
Overcompensate - This is an amazing opener, and really gets me pumped up to listen to the album (Like Jumpsuit and sort of heavydirtysoul???) When this song came out on the 29th of February I was extremely sick and was in bed all day, and even though it sucked, I was like "Well, at least a new twenty one pilots single came out".
Next Semester - on my first listen, I sort of thought it sounded like a good radio song, but once it started to slow down at the end, I started thing "This is definitely a twenty one pilots song" I only thought that on my first playthrough, and then started to like it a lot more. Also what's interesting about the music video is that it starts with the ending of navigating. Both music videos are also shot in different aspect ratios than the other vids. idk.
Backslide - I dunno, this song is just alright. When I listened to it when it came out I thought it was ok, and I still think that. Might be because I thought 3 singles was a lot. The chorus does have some of energy, but overall the song is just fine.
Midwest Indigo - At first, I thought this song was just ok, but I came back to the song more and more and have started to like the song more. This really feels like a song that you need to listen to multiple times to like.
Routines in the Night - This song is just ok. Like you said, the song just feels very similar throughout, and after multiple plays, I can say it's definitely listenable, but just not as much as other ones. But I personally think that's fine, cause not every song in this album needs to be banger, and I'm fine with it being this one, it's fine.
Vignette - hOlY gUaCaMoLe this song is pretty good. On my first listen I thought this song was great. It has a very unique energy to it, which the instrumentals and singing are higher pitched, and it kinda makes the song stand out amongst the rest
The Craving - Honestly I kinda forget about this song, mainly because I'm not a giant fan of acoustic songs, but It's fine. All I really gotta say
Lavish - Probably my favorite song on the album. I was worried that other people wouldn't like it because they'd say it sounds like a "radio" song, but I'm pretty sure that's just my fear. I will say though that I could probably recite all of the lyrics because of how much I've listened to it. Not the best song on the album, but my personal favorite.
Navigating - Similarly with Overcompensate, this song gives a great burst of energy to the song, and like you said, I'm already imaging how this song could be used in a movie that I might make. Not super unique, but I like it a lot
Snap Back - A bit more of a chill song, kinda like cut my lip but with more energy (what am I even saying of course it's not like cut my lip even though I kinda like that song) But I'm glad that with song it more slow, in contrast with Navigating that comes right before it.
Oldies Station - This song is fine, I don't really have a lot it say about it, I pretty much have the same feelings about this song that I do Routines in the night. It's pretty forgettable imo.
At the Risk of Feeling Dumb - Mid. I agree with you that this is the worst song on the album, but I wouldn't say it's bad, it's just not good. I dunno (and I don't really care) if there's a deeper meaning, but the lyrics of the song are just telling you outright what to do, which is... fine... but like, it's not twenty one pilots.
Paladin Strait - I'm usually not a fan of the last song on their albums, but I think this song is good. Though, nothing to really have me come back to.
I've been waiting for this video cause this was the first twenty one pilots album I listened to on release (though I did listen to trench fairly quick after it came out) thank you for making this video!
I don’t even really like TOP (outside of Trench), but I live for these reviews.
Btw, it was lovely meeting you in Baltimore. You were really sweet! Screaming the lyrics to “F**k” right to your face was a wonderful moment for me! :) ❤️
Liking Lavish while excruciating an IMMENSE amount of SAI hate at the start is.... while it's an opinion you CAN have
Edit: LOVING LAVISH HATING SAI AND CALLING FEELING DUMB THE WORST ON CLANCY IS FUCKING I N S A N E, DRUNK REVIEW IS RIGHT HOLY SHIT
@@TJbutLag like really, pick a side.
I think feeling dumb is overrated
Lol
@NedIsForever it's definitely not the discography defining banger a lot of the clique has hyped it to be but it's 100% NOT worse than Lavish and Lavish also sounds 10× more like SAI than Feeling Dumb does
I know opinions are subjective but so much of what he says, from an objective stand point just talking about the sound of the music not the response to it, is so back asswards. Objective logic has been thrown out the door to hate SAI more.
@@TJbutLag I like both songs

How to survive the real world (life after graduation) Please 😢 we're out here
Scaled and icy hate is crazy 0:18

I will defend SAI with my life
i get that it's not your thing, but wow the SAI hate is overflowing from you
im going to try to wait for the senior year guide even sometimes am a little bit impressed since i have add
I have been subscribed to you for too damn long. Never commented. Racoon Tour is fantastic.
Mr. Nateislame, I’m lowkey hoping that you are able to upload the senior year vid before August since it’s been a year. Though It would be epic if you uploaded a mini sneaky peaky if you still need to cook while we wait still. Pls get this done my boi. 🙏
Loved watching your review, I agree that Clancy isn't AS good as something like Trench, but it is a nice modern return to form for Twenty One Pilots! Can't wait for the next album and another drunk review!
I haven't seen many people outwardly share the same opinions as me towards Twenty One Pilots because I genuinely and wholeheartedly love every single song they've released. Every song, off every album. There are obviously some songs I listen to more frequently than others and ones that I can admit aren't produced as well or as in line with what makes the band so great but I just love them all yknow
Tbh paladin straight was my least favorite. To me it sounds like theyre pushing too hard to get the lore across, and imo with different lyrics it could have been the best on the album. I also absolutelt LOVE oldies station. To me it feels like the wholesome uncle "we made it" to Truce
When you said SAI was trash, I immediately discredited your entire review. This was confirmed when you said At the Risk of Feeling Dumb was the worst song on the Album. "That's a miss.... NEXT"
It’s that time again!
1:07 Bella running over and flipping us off is so funny
4:00 I almost choked on some sour patch kids at this part
You are the only one who feels the same way as me about At the Risk of Feeling Dumb
The beat to At the Risk of Feeling Dumb sounds like the beat for jumping into the open mouths of clown statues at a rainbow carousel
damn you nate i want to eat poutine now >:(
yooo wait when did he mention poutine

Overcompensate is amazing!
classic musician hole in the pants oh my god
Fun fact: This is his 69th video.
Mr. Islame what do u think of long legs
It was okay. The deeper I got into the supernatural elements, the less I loved it.
I guess at the risk of feeling dumb is pretty simple and catchy but it really hit me hard
Also, WHAT 12:15
Sai haters don't get rights I'm so sorry
You mean easily the worst twenty one pilots album?
@Itbecause No, that's Regional At Best. But we don't talk about that one
@@PurplexingLycan653 uh, we do. Cause it's got many amazing songs
Despite At The Risk being my fav song on the album, I can understand the constant repetition of the chorus could get annoying
So it was the summer of 2024…
i like dont really care about top anymore but for im glad nate from inside my phone had fun
smiled this entire video. i couldn’t stop laughing at 7:55
I dig Scaled and Icy ❄️
I don’t like how the rest of the album didn’t really live up to the power and energy that Overcompensate suggested it’d be. Also many songs are too short, and very simplistic production wise. Like half the songs on Trench were 4+ minutes, while Clancy has 1 and its Paladin Strait
I greatly agree with this
I will never understand SAI slander, it’s legit my favorite album by them. Nobody’s going to take the depressed pop away from me!
The reason for the slander is because it sounds basic af
Let’s go we finally got a drunk review
3:59 good rule of thumb for most music imo is not to agree with brad taste in music
Finally
people that say they don't like this album actually just want to be different
What a good video
As soon as I heard the scaled and icy slander I immediately clicked off. That album is better than vessel and blurryface combined lmao. Sorry you didn’t get it
Blurryface? I can understand your opinion but DUDE you can not disrespect Vessel that much
Is aight
i hope he can overcompensatiate the craving
I like Brad Taste In Music but I’ve pretty much never agreed with any of his takes
i love you no funny comment i just love you.
I was here
AT THE RISK IS MY FAVORITE OFF THE ALBUM I DONT GET THE HATE BUT I AGREE WITH VIGNETTE IS MY 2nd fav
Man I don't get the hate on Scaled and Icy I thought it was pretty great. Clancy is a real mixed bag on the other hand. Lavish on its own brings down the whole album
What the hell is everyone even complaining about Lavish for
@@Itbecause if everyone's complaining it's probably for a reason
@@thndr_5468 didn't you just say "I don't get the hate on Scaled and Icy"? Take what you just said and apply (thoroughly)
@@Itbecause yeah it's an opinion. opinions differ. you can like it but I don't. it's just a single song in a pretty decent album so it stands out to me.
@@thndr_5468 so you say you don't understand why people hate Scaled and Icy and that's fine, but when I wonder why people hate Lavish, that's not okay?
If no one liked it wouldn’t it be 0? 2.36 is a bit more then 0
sew that hole up and those pants can last another decade
I think the hole adds to their character
This was fn until I saw AI... Sad to see this channel go
No AI. Zero AI anywhere on my channel.
You kinda look like jacksepticeye
Scaled and Icy is good!!!
I actually really agree with Backslide. The instrumental for that is my favourite song, except Paladin Strait which is number one for me
Please do more how to survive videos

hell yeha mate is lame
Happy late Fourth of July. 💥💥💥🦅🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅💥💥💥 WHAT THE FUCK IS A KILOMETER
Finally someone else doesn't love atrofd
I don't like this idea of drunk reviewing. Tyler is against drinking alcohol and so am I
TOP songs get played at bars. Beer and wine get served at their gigs. Exploring your freedoms and ability to make decisions are core themes in their songs. I don’t think Tyler would really care. 🤷♀️
@@NateIsLame Tho If you go to such places you don't have to order yourself a drink. If freedom is geting drunk or not I think it's just sad
i'm presuming you're like 14 right
@@NateIsLame In fact I will be 24 in an hour
I hope your birthday was wonderful!! c:
Scaled and Icy better then this new album for sure though
alternative title: Drunk person hates on scaled and icy for 14 minutes while talking about a band he should have realistically stopped listening too after he turned 20.
Idk man I’m still having a blast with them
People can like what they like. Some things are intended for younger audiences (don’t think TØP is one of those things) but I wouldn’t say there’s a specific age you should stop consuming or enjoying a specific type of media.
@@NateIsLame I'm just messing around, you can only be under 40 and listen too them.
I mean, he hated on Scaled and Icy for like, a section of the video, but was it that much?
