Beautiful bike but for the money im leaning towards a triumph speed triple..cruise control for the highway and a fuel gauge. The triumph is a beautiful bike but the ducati is better looking. My mind says triumph but the heart says ducati
This video should be commended for just the choice of music alone. No trippy electronica/rnb/whatever. Just good, old fashioned rock. And the review is great and informative as well. 👍I just don't agree at all that they should've gone for neo-retro looks. I have grown tired of new(er) bikes still looking like they were built 20 years ago. I, for one, am glad that Ducati have committed to make their current bikes really look current.
@mason lodge 434 the monster has a fuel gauge. But i would never change my SFV2 against a monster. With the SFV2 i know that i can go 220 km with several liters remainig in the tank.
How did you feel about the heat from the engine? Living here in the Philippines I’d like to use it as a daily commuter, but I ride to the gym in shorts often. I heard your comments on it in the video. Sadly they don’t have any demo units here in cebu city, so I’d love to hear your thoughts on it as a daily ride. Thank you! Love the channel ❤🎉
i'm 5'7 and have no problem. In some situations i prefer to push the bike back, myself standing on the side, rather than trying to paddle with my feet.
Hey just so you know, they have bad steering lock, so yeah parking lot and low speed are something you have to plan and pay attention to . Always keep in mind that tippy toe seat height converts to leg room once you are rolling, and that's a good thing. Unless your a contortionist and don't care. 😁😁
I was thinking my next bike would be a v2 or v4 but as soon as you said no fuel gauge that is a deal breaker for me, i know i would be running out of fuel every time i took it out
I suppose you could establish some baseline by topping it up, riding it the way you want for 60 miles/100 kms and then topping it up again. That would give you an idea of how thirsty it is and you could adjust accordingly. You'd just need to make sure to reset the trip meter after every fill-up. My RSV4 does not have a fuel gauge either, but I have regularly poured about 8 liters after a 100km ride so that's my baseline.
@@derekgieralt2261 you get all 153hp in wet mode. And there is no choice of 3 power modes. I've ridden one. I dont know why the reviewer speaks of engine power modes. He's wrong. I didn't see this whe I rode it. I'll confirm in 2 months when my arrives. ( again. No!!!. This bike is not for a beginner. )
This bike has a speedometer, right? It can't weigh more than 450 pounds. It's a perfect bike for a beginner! What a beginner doesn't want is a bike that weighs 650 pounds.
Know what's terribly sad?.Many people may be new to Ducati, and to this bike, but this bike has already existed. It was a 2011 1098 Streetfighter S. The sad part is, It made more power, more torque and weighed less in 2011. It IS a fantastic bike. But it's not new.
It’s new enntense .. Yea the model name SF in duc. line up Already exist way back 2009.. with the 1098 & 848 ver. If u didn’t know 1098 Sf had testastretta 11 “Superbike Engine” & this new 2022 Sf V2 had the Superquadro engine they’re different.. this sf v2 is a “middle weight” it’s like a 848 ver. But more efficient & more power unlike 848 also equip with same tech from big brother V4 SF…
This bike vibrates like crazy downlow, Btwn Girls would enjoy it!!! Just look at the gauge. Cheaply made Not worth it and quality not same on v4. If you have money just go straight v4
you need money too, to get the v2 🤣 The Triumph Speed Triple RS with a better package cost a little bit more and you get definitly more for your money😋
@@DannyLe808 Design is subjective but looking at an overall package, the Ducati cannot compete. If we look at what sells, that SFV2 is losing. But you are absolutely right. There is no naked bike out there (to me) that is better looking than the Streetfighter. Especially the V4 with those winglets? Nothing. I just wish it was closer in price to competitors. That being said, I need a SFV2 lol.
@@jd3330 Yeah man. I'm 53 and have been riding since I was 12(dirt). I seriously question what people are thinking. Can most people honestly say they can bring all 150 hp of their bike to bear, let alone 200+ ? Probably not even close.
its interesting how we feel the need to justify or explain that a 178kg,150+ hp , 101 nm bike is not slow ... nice presentation
I have watch many reviews on SFV2 but I always enjoy listening to your input. Good job bro.
Great review and got me thinking of getting one instead of the current monster. Keep up the good work.
Thanks a lot for making this informative video for v2 it will really helped me to decide my next bike

Amazing bike, and very cool that you got to ride it in italy. 👍🇨🇦🤪
one of the best in the Road, Streetfighter - nice review
All that LCD but no fuel gauge 💀😂
Jerry is complaining😂
@mason lodge 434 I’d say only the multistrada has a fuel gauge since this is a naked Panigale lol

You think, you get a fuel gauge on a cheap bike like this? 🤣🤣🤣

Nice content!
Nice review
I am 5’6 and the seat height kinda worry me. I notice your tip toes, how is the bike balance? Easy to maneuver for parking? Thanks

Have no issues with height… tip toe shouldn’t be a problem, plus it’s pretty light
@@slenet8 would i have a problem if I'm 6.1* ? And actually.. it's going to be my first ever bike😅
(Still haven't purchased)
They sell a lower seat for the SFV2.

Wow - about AU$35k in the Phillipines at current exchange rates. Cost in AU is AU$23,200 ride away.
Present Sir 🙋
Did they fix the heating issue. Since the exhaust pipe runs just below the seat I've heard it used to get really hot. Does the bike still run hot ?
I've owned 5 twin Ducati's and well, they all ran hot. Hah.
Ducati canceled the 2012 1199cc Panigale V2 for what reason? That bike had a top speed of 176 mph and 195 hp.
I'm saving money for this bike. Hope will get it in February 2025

I enjoy riding the V2 more than my Panigale V4S. Can't even max out the performance of the V2. Then V4 is more for bragging rights.😊
The real question questions are, is the S1000R a better bike? Why get a Panigale V2 instead of this?
Not sure if the Aprilia Tuono is a competitor to this bike?
Definitely a competitor. The Aprilia is much smaller and cheaper but it’s still a mid-level naked. I would even put the MT-09 in this category too
Just asking why do you guys never review Kawasakis?
Thought I was watching a video of Motorcyclist Magazine 😉
do hypermotard review sir Jinno..
Monster more uppright and easy too ride, feels smaller and lighter to, Streetfighter more racey and a looot faster✊🔥
Would this bike be considered too big for a beginner?
Yes
Yes
you can start at wet mode and low power mode on the engine that's about 100 HP till you build your confidence.

If they change the looks, then it wouldnt be as cheap. Its borrowing parts from the v4.
Pa shoutout po sir!
I can’t believe it how is this way more lighter than the MT07😂😂😂 and other 2 cyl Japanese bikes

For the price, it’s hard to justify a mid-level naked when the Tuono and MT-09 way cheaper and comparable in performance.
But those are second tier bikes and they boring to look at though. Ducati always have one step above Yamaha or Aprilia design
