I been having doubts about joining I’m just thinking about all the bad shit that can happen , when I talked to the recruiter I was excited I been studying for the asvab for like a month now but I I don’t know I just been thinking hella hard now
Yo I just wanted to say, Great video! You really hit some really good points. As a current Army Recruiter I really appreciate the positive feedback on the military in general.
Hey. Like your Chanel. I am Norwegian and in my service way back in the day i met som usmc guys. They gave me a t-shirt with the usmc logo on. Is it stolen valor og i were it?
There was a guy who passed Army Ranger school at 40 years old & another fellow who passed navy seal training at 33 years old....so no, 25 years old is far from "too old" for Marine Corp bootcamp
It’s not but at 25 it’s gonna be tough (not impossible) to make it to retirement if you stay in for 20 years. I’m 41 now and I’m a year out from retirement. I joined at 22. Go talk to your local recruiter brother
No it’s when I joined, about to hit my 2 year mark pretty soon. I’d recommend joining the reserve side though since you’ll still get decent benefits and not have to give up your civilian career. I joined the army national guard and kinda regret it, hear it’s a lot better in the air guard/reserve so gonna transfer there when I’m done in the army
I’ve been deciding between enlisted and officer and I’ve came up with the plan of trying to do both, after 4 years go to college to become an aviation officer, do you have any advice or if you have ever heard of this before?
Four of my mentors/peers went that route. Toward the end of our second enlistment (at about 8 years in). Two went WO (Warrant Officer) route and two went MECEPS - Marine Enlisted Commissioning Education Program.... for highly qualified active duty Marines ONLY-- not for AR (active Reserve) or Reservists. Going the Warrant Officer route is an application process. Each route have pluses and minuses.
I married my high school sweetheart when we were young. it’s been almost two years we’ve been married. My dream has always been to become a marine but I hear it’s hard to join if your already married. I don’t know what to do because this has always been something I’ve wanted to do. Any advice?? Thank you!
I was in the same boat as you! We got married after I joined though. Once you get through boot camp, mct, mos school you’ll be able to live together. It’s really not that bad, she just needs to be on board with you leaving for extended periods of time.
Not hard at all brother. Easy day, she just needs to sign off on you joining. You will be separate while you are in training (boot camp/MCT/MOS school) afterwards she can come Love with you. Best of luck
First you can start capitalizing Marine. It's very disrespectful to not capitalize Marine. We have certainly earned it. If the world looked upon The Marine Corps for guidance stopped the black and white shit and made everyone green, light green and dark green... also don't be one of these dudes who meets a Marine and always says "I was going to join The Marines but"
Hey tony, great channel. Love the content. I started a channel recently myself. Still active duty myself pending retirement in 11 months. Would love to do a collaboration with you.

I am a Marine Corps vet. I would not recommend anyone join today's woke military. Weak leadership and lowered standards will put more of our troops in body bags.
They also won't let us illKay as much, which is a huge letdown. (Pig Latin because the algorithm detects and deletes your comment if you write the word illKay) Talk about WOKE. 😂

Is 25 too old? I heavily considered around 21 but pussied out and haven't forgiven myself for it...
The older you are the harder is is to adapt

lies. Depends on what type of person you are.

DO IT!!! IF YOU DON'T, YOU WILL REGRET IT FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!
If you have a ROCK SOLID relationship, every day you aren't heading to Boot Camp is a wasted day.

Instead you can be in civil life, earn times more, you can be yourself and not a slave
You are a slave if you have a BOSSHOLE. 💯
