We are in South Africa (we live on a nature reserve so nearest service support is a mission) our washing stopped spinning and only hummed. We found your video, then we found some broken wires, joined them….now we spinning again. Thank you so very much…..your video saved us PLENTY.
Hi thanks for the upload, your video guided me in the right direction. Had 2 wire breaks ,red and black in loom, machine is working 100% again. Exactly the same machine. Your video definitely a money saver for me. Greetings from Cape Town, South Africa
Cheers, fixed mine today after watching the video. Turned out the blue and red to the capacitor had snapped at the join in the wiring harness. What a silly design, why not mount the cap just near the wire start point instead of adding in 50cm of wire that could snap haha.
Eureka! Thankyou! Your video saved me a ton of hassle. Having already raided and old aircon for a capacitor, I did a continuity test from capacitor to motor plug, as you showed. This was open circuit, prompting a closer look at the harness. What I saw next reminded me to don a head torch and have a darn good look in the first place, because the broken red wire and its burnt ends were right there in plain view! This is pretty poor work for Samsung... a heavy bundle of red wire (presumably some small current-limiting resistance for the starter winding), poorly supported at its ends, that leads to stress and breakage. I'm just waiting for the next broken wire now. Any other ideas why this metre of wire is in a bundle? Dave, Adelaide SA
haha, well thanks for checking it out. Yeah we had a bad storm here on Thursday so had a bit of an emergency shuffle and just putting the car back to their normal sleeping spot.
I saw the video, did a visual check and I found a frog in the middle of the pulley and the belt, I removed the frog and reinstalled the belt and now it's working perfectly. Note: my washer machine is outside.
It could be an issue with the power making it to the drum motor, or it could be the motor itself. Other than a multimetre i can't suggest a safe way to test. It is cruicial to be very careful with the live testing.
Hi did everything you showed it started working again now only thing is everytime I turned the machine it automatically starts spinning and even when turning it off it would continue to spin for a bit please help
Sir my Samsung washing machine rotates empty but when I put clothes it wash rince but when going for spin it stops with a cling and taking water again and again 😢 please reply thanks
@@PaderogPlays oh just saw these msgs. I ended up getting it checked. Turned out the transmission (gearbox) is basically broken. Hence why it can spin cycle. But the part at the bottom that wobbles doesn't work. Worst part it. My local dealers says "they don't make that part anymore" I ended up buying a new one.
hello sir the problem of my washing machine is that the wash and spin is not working but I already check the capacitor and the drain motor, both of them are in good condition, i tried to spin the wash motor manually also in good condition, what is the other possible that my washing machine is not wash and spin sir?
are you able to ensure its getting the correct volatage at the motor? This is very dangerous to test. But if there is excessive resitance at the motor, the voltage will drop, the motor will run hotter than normal and melt.

Glad it got you sorted!!!
Absolute legend.
Looked at so many videos. Just about to give up.
Sure enough a broken wire.
Thanking you
thanx for the video. Had 3 broken wires repaired them now spinning again. U saved me alot of money to book it for repairs

Hi there, my Samsung microwave makes the same Humm noise, do you think the same combobulator would be broken also?
Haha. Man! Is this the noise yours is making? ruclips.net/video/dQw4w9WgXcQ/видео.html
That round thing you unplugged is your shifter actuator it helps the washer determine what speed you’ve selected for your cycle.
So helpful mind was not spinning the blue wire was broken put it together and boom my machine started spinning again.Thank you so much gor the video
Never rely on a switch at the mains, always unplug the power at the mains!! Be safer!!
Thanks so much - wires had dropped down and burned out on something. Mine's still humming, but is spinning at least!
Good to hear!
Good bro thanku for way of explaining , not an Engh can explain this way

Thanks
Thank you very much for explanation of E6 problem iwill have to buy a new part thank you so much
just noticed bout the red wire loop wnder why?
My washing machine isn't broken... still watched the video! Is that a Estoril blue e36 m3 in the background?
haha, well thanks for checking it out. Yeah we had a bad storm here on Thursday so had a bit of an emergency shuffle and just putting the car back to their normal sleeping spot.
@@ZeroTo60Tube didn’t realise you guys had an e36 m3 in the fleet! Either way nice car 🚙
@@zafiropapanikitas5568 I caught it too! The biggest unknown with these guys is “ what else is in the yard?” Lol
is it ok or safe to lay the washer face down?.. wont cause issue with balance??
Why is the Samsung top load washer very cheap and what is the model number of this washer?

THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH
This Help me am thankful 🥂
Tysm 😘
mine is not spinning while on wash cycle only the water is filling but spinning while on rinse cycle. please help
Did you check the tension of the pulley belt? perhaps it is loosen or worn.
Our machine hums and rotates slow automatically when turned on and we cannot use it, what could be the problem? Is it the triac to be replaced?

Ever experienced where the machine doesn't wash? but the spin cycle works. U only hear the hum during the Wash.
Wonder if its a similar issue with the pump not getting the right power signal, instead of the spin motor.
Hello same issue with mine, did your washing machine fix?

Well some woman is missing out on a great catch! LOL.
😂
The ohms for the capacitor is about 1200
And It is not easy meter the capacitance?
My Samsung only spins when the outlet pipe is on the ground (flat) 😞
Samsung had no right making washer machines I bought one a year ago and now it's giving me lots of trouble with that OC code.
I have a brand new Samsung and it it's doing this right out the box. It also trips the breaker
I would speak to your retailer asap
@@testandtune6096 it ended up being faulty motherboard and control panel.
On mine, I tried changing the motor but the machine keeps burning the motor

💯😎
Why dint you just unplug the damn washing machine from the electrical socket in the wall. Why just turn off the black switch . Youre nutz.
Inspired by the lord and saviour electro boom.
Yes because switch could b faulty .That offcourse could get him electrocuted
