    Thanks Mark, you didn’t have to, I’m blushing now here. But I genuinely do love your channel and THANK YOU for your beautiful gift of the reindeer coffee pouch. That blew me away.
    I hope the bedroll serves you well for many many years to come. 🙏🏻

      Good evening Michael, I hope you are having a nice weekend :) LOL, sorry to make you blush mate :) Again a massive thank you Michael, it is great. And I'm sure it will serve me well.
      I'm glad you like the pouch. It is not as original as the one you sent me. Not unless reindeers have some big balls lol. Thanks again Michael, speak to you soon, all the best, Mark.

    Question:.... What was the total weight of your pack @0:02.. just curious.
    that's wonderful...I love seeing youtubers, different pack configurations...
    wow..@ 4:35 that is a great pouch with excellent real estate. I would use that pouch, for a water bottle & brew & cook kit, easily.
    🤩👍 *Way to go Mr Walker!!* 🤩👍 What a great gift !!
    7:10 I like to use inner bike tube elastics, to roll up my loosygoosy straps, and bind them with a ranger band (inner bike tube).
    8:02 That is a huge bag...takes up over 60% of the pack space.
    Sleep system is one of *the BIG 3's* of anyones pack (the other two are the Shelter & Pack)
    ..thanks for sharing your gifts with us....
    cheers.

      @markbailey2981  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Kanzee, I hope you are keeping well :) The pack didn't really weigh a great deal as most of it was taken up by the Czech sleep system. I would say it weight about 18lb with the other items included. On the whole if I can keep the weight to around 25lb I am happy carrying that for a day. I agree a couple of very generous guys indeed :) Thank you as always for your awesome comment, all the best, Mark :)

    Another great video thanks for taking the time to make them, was looking at the large pouches I've just ordered 2 large pouches from ray Mears brilliant bit of kit but I noticed the ones I got have exposed zippers and the pull tab is smaller but the have cord attached your pouch looks better I especially like that the zippers are covered, I'm just interested to find out why yours has that feature and mine doesn't dunno if I have a slightly newer design or that was just interested to hear your thoughts as I cant find any one speaking about the difference between the two large pouches, anyways enough rambling thanks once again buddy, happy bushcrafting

I was just about to say it might be a newer design. I was gifted the pouches, so I didn't really research them. I have just looked on Ray's website and I can see the new design. Instead of the flap they have reversed the zip. They do this on a lot of walking jackets and it works well. I like the new designed look. You will have to let me know how they work in the rain. @@markbailey2981 that's very generous mate and very much appreciated. The chaga is a tad different from the Yorkshire tea I usually drink but it's nice with honey in. I've been out on the bike today for a quick spin and cleaned all the yard up so I'm ready for bed myself. I'm going to find myself some timber and have a bash at a spatula and spoon if they turn out half as good as yours il be very proud of myself I'm going to try the little mushrooms too for the garden. Keep up the good work mate. All the best

      Hi bigearedmouse17, I hope you are having a nice weekend mate :) Sorry for the late reply, I have been working away today, and had to be out for half 3 this morning. Putting the hour forward this morning has put me on my ass lol. Yeah, I'm sure it could be attached onto a day pack. If I took the belt off the pack, they could also be attached to that. You just have to make sure that the PALS webbing lines up the MOLLE or it might fit a bit wonky. Thanks as always :) All the best, Mark.
