We need this video directly from the role pos 5, because as a core in some ways it's easier to lead the game from just being individually strong, but if you are pos 4 or 5 you may get disregarded because of the position you play and it doesn't really feel good when there are 3 cores none of which play the way BSJ would play on the map
Fully agree. When I'm pos 5, I'm unsure how best to play the lategame. There's a lot of great learning content for how to play laning stage, but very little for pos 5 mid-late decisionmaking.
I usually play off or supp. From POS 4/5 prospective I am trying to bring as much vision to our cores it’s the only key in order to force good plays and capitalize from enemies mistakes.
It's barely any different for pos 5. If you feel like your game understanding is better than your bracket, all you have to do is to play good Dota and don't get baited by bad players into playing bad Dota. Regardless of positions. It is not forbidden for pos 5 to get fat when the cores are not playing the map correctly. It is correct to let bad players die alone or not join a bad teamfight. Ideally, you were already on your way to push a lane so your opponent can't capitalize on a won teamfight because of lane pressure. As a support, you invest your time and ressources into cores, but if none of it bears fruit, it's okay to invest in yourself. There is no "being stuck" in ranked. If you play good, you rank up. If you play average, you stay at your MMR. If you're mad at your teammates for holding you back, you are delusional. I played support all the way from 1k to 6k and the only reason I'm "stuck" right now is because I finally reached an MMR where I'm not better than the average opponent.
Great video, thanks. I'm 4k atm (was 6 before a long break) but this stuff still applies. At the end of the day as you rise in rank you still see many of the same blunders, just less frequently. The most essential aspect to ranking is good leadership from whatever position you're playing. That combines humor, directing focus, defusing toxicity/flame, and general PMA. This is the number 1 issue that flips winnable games to losing games.
Honestly, such advice as "be patient", "be disciplined" and "think about what you are trying to accomplish" are applicable to any game that has a hint of teamplay or strategy.
A really good point I heard from one of the TI casters about taking towers as an objective that I think explains it really well is, you should basically never hit a tower if you're trying to be Efficient (except racks ofc, although the same concept applies, enemy heroes can't defend racks, if they are dead from a team fight outside the base). Because of 2 points- Every second you're hitting a tower is less time farming, you can cut the wave and creeps will naturally take the tower for you, while you farm the wave. And every second you're giving the enemy more map control in other lanes, and losing the chance to take a good fight in an open map, away from an enemy tower.
Its always been this way but thats mostly for cores, especially after they added so many camps to the game, the chances that everything near the tower you wanna take is farmed out are very low. Also if you're like drow who can take a tower in no time flat after treads and two wb you can still hit them, if you're mid it can help you win lane to take tower early also.
@@sameveland8560 I probably didn't word it very well, farming creep camps is not the point, it's more about cutting the wave and zoning/fighting enemy heroes on the other side of towers instead of under the tower, where they have an advantage. Even as a pushing hero like drow or Pugna, it's still better to make an allied double wave with catapult, then nuke the enemy wave and tp to help a fight. (or run to the fight and tp back to tower, if you're the ones ganking) The creeps will do the work for you, while you win the team fight. No point 'winning' the lane if you lose the game, your team will thank you for it.
@Warlock8ZERO I think this applies to efficiency such as farming even more so, but I guess dota has become more team based as the years have gone on, so maybe you are right in your evaluation Generally, unless I want to leave the area as a pre-15 carry, I won't go for a gank. I'd go for camps in the area instead. Also I use all my tps to farm, very different playstyles sounds like. As to your last point as a hypercarry, I do often have games where every lane loses, and we win because I focused on staying green rather than taking dubious fights. I agree that tower pushing isn't the prio but seems like we disagree on what's better to do in the meantime. I would very rarely use my resources in that way as a carry unless I wasn't playing my typical pool.
@@sameveland8560 Oh no I totally agree, I'm mainly talking about the physically hitting towers part, yes ofc farming is still the main prio like you say, and only take fights when you can safely farm towards the area, otherwise yeah I would ignore it too as you won't get there in time anyway, and it's pointless if you have little to no impact with no items yet depending on the hero, which goes back to the cutting waves part, which is usually the main reason I win too when both other lanes fail haha. One of those things that grinds my gears so much when I'm not playing carry, and we have an AM or something just sitting behind our racks waiting to take a fight for 5 mins, when they could be pushing racks themselves and making enemy heroes go back to defend, so we can take a better fight too.
In low rank, there's so sign of intelligence life. They just feed their ego. Fight and farm, do nothing significant. To climb the rank, you have to play hero that can get objective on your own
and yes i understand that 2k can be very random cuz everyone is bad so u can mitigate this by: just being mechanically better than everyone else, have a high map awareness and have game sense so deep or play with people u can trust to climb and u all get better together if u wanna take this game seriously, immerse yourself in the game. think about your last game, what have i been doing wrong? what could have i done to make my game better? set a good farming pattwrn for urself, join fights at the right time with rhe right items and dont die unnecessarily.
As someone who climbed from 2k to 4k, I approve of this mentality - applies to both cores and supports Also nice tip about ppl spamming all skills to clear wave as hint to whether his team is behind him or not - kinda make sense in retrospect
But how do you act in these situations as a support. As 4 or 5 you are not supposed to farm jungle. As support I feel like I have to be with the team because if I am not the suport ist very easy killable and if fight breaks out, you are not in a good positions.
@@speedz7784 every game is going to be different but my formula is 1) pick meta supports with at least some sort of farming capability, 2) be good with spotting lane farm that no one else wants to take, and farm a wave or 2 (without dying) when you know the team isn't going to fight, or right after a fight and there's no objectives that can be taken, 3) always have a tp ready and be topped up so you're ready to group whenever your team is ready to move again The heros I spammed in my recent climb were veno, treant, jakiro. The only thing is it was in patches before some of the nerfs but there's probably different heros that can fit the bill now
true, even just playing more carefully ranking you up, when you dont see supports with 30+ death combined, and even cores 0-11.... thats the bigest in crusader trenches)))
@@yuriyseliuk4120 ya, and sometimes when your cores over extend trying to hg, and when enemy buyback, it's ok to tell your team to back off. And if your cores decide to stay and feed, it's better that you stick to your guns and get out Scott free than feeding along with your team
Thanks for the informative videos. Really enjoying your content! I like how objective you are about your own gameplay, teammates, and opponents, and your objectiveness about getting triggered by bad teammates. Great learning opportunities.
Thank you for your incredible help and content. I am trying so hard to escape from 2K. I am thinking that I know all the tips of higher MMR games but I see all my mistakes on that video. I don’t even realize that I am doing them so often!!! You are amazing keep up the good work! My new motto will be patience patience patience
I get support like this Silencer, only exception is, he gets pissed if I don't play with him and help him with the harass because he keeps getting out traded, and killed. Then leaves me alone in the lane and mess up the mid lane because he's soaking up exp. And then when you look at their profile, they have thousands of games and still suck so bad.
Great content but I have to mention one thing. At 4:30, at 2k your team will notice enemy pulled when they reach the enemy tower stay there for 40s and then start complaining WHY U DONT PULL
I remember watched this video when i'm at 1800 mmr, learned and get to 2300 mmr, now i'm at 2700, and watch this once again, still get so much knowledge, and realize so many mistakes that i've done, very good video, thanks
For those of you who are just hearing about into the am, I bought a couple sweatshirts a few years ago, and they are really really comfortable and I get compliments on them nearly every time I wear them. Haven't looked at their store in a while but I really liked the ones I got.
I really hate when my team has one member get picked off, then the others decide yes, let's go HG right now, down a teammate. Instead of just shoving the waves and keeping them penned in.
This is the most common bad behaviour I see. First, someone dies (maybe in a bad position, or the team is just slow), and then the rest try to compensate, one by f*** one. Ofc, if they used all their resources to kill them, that's fine, but it usually is not like this,
thx for this Video BSJ. i am on 3k MMR now and i recently played the same lane matchup with WK with a support Natures Prophet VS Luna and Warlock. I did what you did not trying to push the lane and focus on farm. To my luck the enemy Warlock got several times out of position and so he was an easy kill with skeletons. My early lane was so good that i was gone for midas + phase boots because the enemy team had Sladar and Venge. After that i got armlet , radiance, blink, AC and at last BKB. The enemy team was so desperate that they were constantly trying to find teamfights. I just dodged them and kept pushing tower after tower. We won with a big lead and i was highest networth and LVL. Your video really helped me to understand what to do in the game.
Love the squirtle and charmander in the background :D Great video though, really need to try and add that kind of forward-thinking into my games as i'm definitely someone who just reacts and focuses on what is in front of me.
I think one thing to mention, is getting flamed for not participating in 2k shinanigans. When you know its best to farm and not team fight, team goes and team fights. They all die and say "why are you afk farming" in this instance you are not afk farming, you're just not participating in a team fight where your presence will not matter.
"People will eventually get the right play done" is too real. I was Dark Willow and spent too long thinking we could fight from behind before committing to making an area "safe" and making stacks for Luna to keep us in the game XD too late though. Fun game; neat to see from the other side as well.
I feel like dawnbreaker have been great for me as a new player to dota2 ( I have played league and she reminds me of shen ) you can split or farm camps then if your team gets jumped or starts fighting you just ult them ( especially if you have ags apter) fight a bit then go back to farming or push lanes. rinse and repeat. She trains you to multitask while looking on the map because the fate of a fight depends on how well you time your ult and positions it
That WD is cute xD always making sure you don't die , and just pressing it all when you fight lol , no matter how noob , thats the type of support any core would need around !!
nice explenation i like it. you said wrong at the end about bkb instead of aganim and shard was given by tormentor. i love this video. i notice what you said what im doing wrong is patience
The real problem of climbing is Dota algoritm and picking. You litteraly have said that playing Luna into WK offlane is UNPLAYABLE. So yes this is educational, but in my opinion dota algoritm will put you at 50% win rate and give you ppl that will pick pudge pos 5 or against a tinker spamer and you have now way to win. And dont forget that a 2k player is still 2k on skill, so if u are put at an disadvantage by the game puting u with ppl with bad behaviour or on losing streaks when u are wining u will be STUCK.
@BSJ what are the supports supposed to do if the team is not going to stick? if they try to farm alone, its slow and dangerous and steals farm from cores..if they don't try to smoke and go, they just will need to stand around?
I hate it when I apply your strategy then most players will argue and start to blame me. then they keep loosing discipline they feed the enemy team by dying over and over again, then it becomes too difficult to win, the enemy team gets too strong even when I buy items to counter them, its useless when you have a teamate who feeds them by aggressively attacking, it happens 8 out of ten games. What do I do with feeding players?
I know what's keeping me in my bracket. Last night we had a 10k lead, Rosh and only 2 barracks (I mean 1 set, no tower) left to take, we march as 5 to enemy high ground , but my full team dies without even hitting racks, without buyback and the enemy ends the game. Pos 5 life, I guess
I climbed from 2k to 3k with playing pos 4 and 5 only. It is definetly possible. Just remind urself the enemy has the same shitheads as cores as u have.
as a support, you need to actively look for good cores. check their dotabuff, check replay on how they farm and comeback from a bad start and if you think they have potential, add them as your friend and play together. of course you need to show that you have good play and stats too im a casual player like 2 games per day and the friends i added are already 2 ranks higher from where i met them. they would still invite me to their party.
What I always struggle with is when the opponent distracts my gameplan. Sometimes they push so hard and we as a team have nothing to hold against that… you like watch the enemy fuck up your lanes and everybody panics because we don’t know what to do next 😂
I've been climbing slowly but surely, and I noticed that when you're losing the game, it's better to let your towers fall than try to team fight and get wiped.
Can someone explain this same mentality from a pos 4/5 player persepctive. Because if i want to iplement those guide for support is pretty damn hard. I mostly really on pos1/2/3 player and it will lead to a totall frustration because the mistplay's.
The hardest part about Dota is that it’s a long team game, it’s hard to not get tilted at teammates so don’t get mad at yourself for getting tilted. It takes time to improve at this but I recommend taking baby steps. The biggest thing that helped me was to learn to never communicate criticism. First pick tide 1? Maybe I pick to combo with ravage. Your mid dives t3 trying to kill a pos 5? Space created, go farm. Just don’t say anything negative! Even if they are braindead, criticizing won’t change what happened, it will only tilt you and your team more and will lose you many winnable games in the long run.
If your team is doing chaotic nonsense and refuses to listen to reason, treat the game as a logic puzzle At that point they're not people, they're pre-programed AI and you're playing a single player game. And all you have to do is work within their parameters and solve the puzzle. Can't tell you how many dozens of infuriating games I've brought back with that mentality
Under 5K people really need to grasp a strong understanding of is how their refusal to contest their early lane experience, massively impacts the rest of the game. I would much rather they play aggressive to prevent your opponent from getting any farm, rather than play safely and also allow the enemy to get farmed.
My team sits in the triangle or the other jungle and i go to split push then i get blamed and reported for not sticking when they fight without me even though i keep marking that i almost have an item that will win us the next fight just wait a min for me. What do i do should i just go fight with them without my item or let my 2-4 teammates die in a bad fight without vision
problem with this approach is , my mmr people follow you religiosly and suddenly now my pos1-2-3 all 3 of them just keep splitting and farming. There will be no ganks and no team fights , knowing enemy has a PL/void who in late game will carry the enemy team.
Imagine your team having all 3 level-2 towers and your enemies already lost 2 sets of barracks only to lose later because your stupid trash cores didn't buy the right items. Remind them that their 2K 1-hit means shit if they get chain stunned before they could ever do it.
I have never seen a reason to go Radiance first, Armlet is much cheaper, much easier to build, and already let's you farm and crit very hard. Literally no pros ever build radiance without armlet first except for when they skip it completely and get midas into radiance.
Thanks for the vid, i keep making the same mistake on 3k with my ld , i keep pushing into their lane and then 5 people come and kill me, and i feed them like 1 k gold
Solo pushing the lane in 2 k goes unpunished 6/10 times.. in the legend to divine bracket you get punished more n more . Or you push the lane mid game and you see a support pushing the lane and you solo gang him thinking you can kill n escape but the enemy team was hiding in the fog waiting for you to appear
BSJ, why didnt you disassemble the radiance for the nuli? Just wanted to know if its so you can keep the burn up for farm/didn't want to use the evasion for your next item or if you had another reason in mind.
He wasn’t in a crazy rush to get the nullifier and doing that would have slowed his farm a lot for no real reason. He would have wanted to go back to radiance again anyway, only justification to me for disassembling would be if he didn’t want the radiance anymore for some reason.
BSJ, asking 2 question with big hopes. Please help me. I solo que in unranked games 90% of the times & have ~3000 MMR. I am safe lane carry. Questions - 1. Consider that I am playing a carry like drow or antimage & I am safe lane. Now there is offlane necrophos + veno or windranger + CM or jakiro + slardar or CK + ogre in front of me. They beat the shit out of me even by tower diving (most of them). I die 2 or 3 times early game. And my item timing messes up badly like power treads in 8 to 9 minutes, darn :( If you leave lane early, you cant farm NC on these heroes because even the small camp brings down the hero HP to half. We can't afford to spend 1 healing slave for 1 small or medium camp. No rotations from supports or ganks by mid hero can be expected in unranked pub games. If I ask to switch lanes, I am mostly denied. How to look at this situation & farm safely & faster in such case? Is my hero drafting wrong? I still manage 500 gpm in a games I lose or 700+ gpm in games won (& around 350+ last hits on average). 2. I see the carries like PA, LC, CK or troll getting picked mostly. The CK & LC literally tower dives at lvl 6 & my team mates lose the lane to them several times in row as I mentioned. The enemy carry gets fat fast & we lose the game. The games that I play (even ranked) are always almost a stomp, either by me or enemy stomps my team. Rarely I see a game with both sides fighting hard. Can I say that this is just my badluck? How to deal with noobs in team? I know these are just bad games. But 13-14 times in row? How? KDA speaks how a player played. If you are dying & achieving nothing (several times), it's just feeding the enemy. Many players don't understand when to take fights, going for objectives or when to be where on the map, lane equilibrium, single pulling, crowd control matchups etc. Tired of games with 0/10 BS having 9k networh after 30 mins in team. Should I ignore these games & call it a badluck? Sorry for a long read. Really hopeful to get answers. You rock ❤️💯
Hey, Brian. Just want to take this time to tell you that I appreciate you and I love you as a human being. I've been following you and watching your content for years now. Thank you for all the content and all the advice you've given us all. I'm an older fellow, however, it's good to see someone like yourself doing your best to help people out. It's trully heartwarming and I respect you for that. From all the Dota creators, you are by far the one I'd like to meet one day, buy you a drink and hopefully get a chance to exchange a few words with you. Respect, brother. On topic: I'm stuck at 4k, after having quit dota several years ago. I was Divine 4/5 and couldn't get to Immortal so I deleted the game since it became too frustrating climbing/being on a losing streak. After a long break and new calibration I'm now stuck at Legend 5/Ancient 1. Some of these can be applied in my bracket too and I guess my skill has declined a lot over the years. I might get some of your training sessions for the sake of improving and as a plus to meet you online. Cheers
I just dont understand why most of 2k-3k games i see from you or jenkis or another teacher, most of the players are literally that bad, and i know what are you gonna say, but im at 1.800 mmr and the players i figh against they all manage to do all the basics mecanics of aggroing, pulling, stacking, tread switch and etc. I belong in the mmr i am , i know. But i just dont get it. Should i use a vpn and queue in usa??
as an offlaner and WK main i think this strat wont work under 2k MMR , my reason is the opponent supp usually spell spam mostly or just keep on hitting u and the large camp is almost blocked for like 6-7 minutes and if u chasing a high item like RAD then i suggest just buy Boots and keep WAND with 3 mangoes (use them incase of escapign stun or to secure kill).but if u r getting bullied so forget RAD and jsut go THREAD/ phase and make ECHO SABRE later u can dissemble it and make 2 items(BKB and mageslayer->BLOOD thorn). the mentality is u will be ready to take most enemy hero in team fight even though ur safelaner is behind networth and the enemy will now try to gank u and keep all their attention 2 u ( so ur safelane can get some farm and built himself for late game fight) i think the OFFALNER role is to bait the enemy team and keeps their attention towards u so that SAFELNER/ midalner get space and can carry the game . thats the scenario. please correct me if im wrong somewhere...
Because the map is much bigger, there's tons of extra camps to farm so it's much harder to get caught. Back then you could a process of elimination and assume that if a carry pushed a wave they will absolutely be farming their jungle on their way to somewhere else, now you can either be there or farming the camps on the edges of the map, so it's not efficient trying to catch the enemy carry as it takes a guess to know where they are.
biggest issue is, you won't get the team you want. even supports are also try last hit. you can be a good support as well but if the carries are noobs, you are done.
I am a 4k noob, but at 33:00 it looks like if WK was in the battle right in the beginning, the outcome would be better. This is so true about efficiency, but you are playing with 2k guys and there was a high probability that the fight will begin without you. And it did. So being in this fight right in the beginning would be better at this moment I think.
Being disciplined works games even in high divine low immortal brackets. I'm a simple offlane player, buying utility items, getting beefy and providing stuns. I try not to feed in the lane and join with my team later on. I encourage taking objectives and I discourage being alone in dangerous parts of the map. Result is steady climb in MMR. I encounter some extremely skilled mid players, some flashy 4s, some ultra-farmed carries in my games, but these skilled dudes cant stop throwing. If you can just learn not to lose, you'll win 55% of dota.
Why take the time to get megas when you can take tier 4s? that has always bugged me. if youre up in gold and net like that, take the towers, win the next teamfight, then push for game, no?

One of those things that grinds my gears so much when I'm not playing carry, and we have an AM or something just sitting behind our racks waiting to take a fight for 5 mins, when they could be pushing racks themselves and making enemy heroes go back to defend, so we can take a better fight too.
This was a great video man. Clearly explained and from both points of view and other positions. That's the way we learn more. Keep it going!
In low rank, there's so sign of intelligence life. They just feed their ego. Fight and farm, do nothing significant. To climb the rank, you have to play hero that can get objective on your own
and that's why you're staying there :)

not trying to insult u but if u are hardstuck 2k, u are just mechanically lacking. thats all.
and yes i understand that 2k can be very random cuz everyone is bad so u can mitigate this by:
just being mechanically better than everyone else, have a high map awareness and have game sense so deep
or
play with people u can trust to climb and u all get better together
if u wanna take this game seriously, immerse yourself in the game. think about your last game, what have i been doing wrong? what could have i done to make my game better?
set a good farming pattwrn for urself, join fights at the right time with rhe right items and dont die unnecessarily.
As someone who climbed from 2k to 4k, I approve of this mentality - applies to both cores and supports
Also nice tip about ppl spamming all skills to clear wave as hint to whether his team is behind him or not - kinda make sense in retrospect
But how do you act in these situations as a support. As 4 or 5 you are not supposed to farm jungle. As support I feel like I have to be with the team because if I am not the suport ist very easy killable and if fight breaks out, you are not in a good positions.
@@speedz7784 every game is going to be different but my formula is 1) pick meta supports with at least some sort of farming capability, 2) be good with spotting lane farm that no one else wants to take, and farm a wave or 2 (without dying) when you know the team isn't going to fight, or right after a fight and there's no objectives that can be taken, 3) always have a tp ready and be topped up so you're ready to group whenever your team is ready to move again
The heros I spammed in my recent climb were veno, treant, jakiro.
I like your points about always pushing out the lanes and farming.
Nice guide BSJ, I spent 40 mins and watched full video, really good information, thank you so much.
1:20 that smooth AF transition!!
22:12 why would ursa needs to tp when the twin gate is available?
I wanted to play safe and not go too far into the enemy territory. perhaps could've used the twin gate, but found it dangerous at the moment
Your video really helped me to understand what to do in the game.

first replay i enjoyed and actually watched till the end. a lot of info, a lot of explanation, very valuable, thank you

Love the squirtle and charmander in the background :D
Great video though, really need to try and add that kind of forward-thinking into my games as i'm definitely someone who just reacts and focuses on what is in front of me.
Was that Squirtle and Charmander? I thought it was Puck and Snapfire for some reason
At 22:00 Ursa could just use the twin gate to get to Roshan.

Watching this video then realizing BSJ accurately describing 2k SEA gameplay is a total mindblow lmao
mine as well, eu + russia. Same mistakes sometimes.
I think one thing to mention, is getting flamed for not participating in 2k shinanigans. When you know its best to farm and not team fight, team goes and team fights. They all die and say "why are you afk farming" in this instance you are not afk farming, you're just not participating in a team fight where your presence will not matter.
And worse sometimes you get reported for it
"People will eventually get the right play done" is too real.
My teammates are actively jeopardizing the wins. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
just got back into dota and this video has been really helpful. always can count on bsj!!!!
another banger BSJ. Content has been another level lately
@BSJ what are the supports supposed to do if the team is not going to stick? if they try to farm alone, its slow and dangerous and steals farm from cores..if they don't try to smoke and go, they just will need to stand around?
wow first sponsor I've ever neen interested in. that's an achievement mr bsj!
26:40 its not that they use the spells, its the urgency with which they use the Spells is probably a good way to explain it.
Pos 5 life, I guess
your team actually enters the enemy base?

@@nbvrufus9675 u play in sea? I find it very difficult to win because even if we are ahead, carry/mid gonna die and buyback 70% of matches.
That's actually a must see for anyone climbing the ladder. Good one bro! 🫡
as a support, you need to actively look for good cores. check their dotabuff, check replay on how they farm and comeback from a bad start and if you think they have potential, add them as your friend and play together. of course you need to show that you have good play and stats too
im a casual player like 2 games per day and the friends i added are already 2 ranks higher from where i met them. they would still invite me to their party.
4:52 who wouldn’t want to hold hands with you Brian
What I always struggle with is when the opponent distracts my gameplan. Sometimes they push so hard and we as a team have nothing to hold against that… you like watch the enemy fuck up your lanes and everybody panics because we don’t know what to do next 😂
I've been climbing slowly but surely, and I noticed that when you're losing the game, it's better to let your towers fall than try to team fight and get wiped.
What are the moves we chould do when we loosing the game as cores or offlane ?
I laughed so hard when he said "if you guys wanna get out of this bracket... don't listen to me at all!!" hahahhhaha
Can someone explain this same mentality from a pos 4/5 player persepctive.
Because if i want to iplement those guide for support is pretty damn hard.
I mostly really on pos1/2/3 player and it will lead to a totall frustration because the mistplay's.
Mr. BSJ, would like to share a Herald game for you to review. Very entertaining!!
I don't understand this XP share at 6.30. How is XP shared from neutrals when two opponents and I are in range? 25-25-50 or 33-33-33?
for real though. the biggest thing holding me back (imho) is the chaos. things i cant control are triggering me half the time.
Just ban CK, lol
The hardest part about Dota is that it’s a long team game, it’s hard to not get tilted at teammates so don’t get mad at yourself for getting tilted.
It takes time to improve at this but I recommend taking baby steps. The biggest thing that helped me was to learn to never communicate criticism. First pick tide 1? Maybe I pick to combo with ravage.
Your mid dives t3 trying to kill a pos 5? Space created, go farm.
Just don’t say anything negative! Even if they are braindead, criticizing won’t change what happened, it will only tilt you and your team more and will lose you many winnable games in the long run.
so let toxic people be toxic unchecked? there needs to be bettter options than this.@@rickyrico900
lmao dude nice one.@@Raul--m-1
If your team is doing chaotic nonsense and refuses to listen to reason, treat the game as a logic puzzle
At that point they're not people, they're pre-programed AI and you're playing a single player game. And all you have to do is work within their parameters and solve the puzzle. Can't tell you how many dozens of infuriating games I've brought back with that mentality
Hey @bsj when to go BM ags or armlet rad or armlet deso on offlane wk
usually my low level games are lost because other team has more carrys
and waiting is poison
your play makes so much sense...but at the same time i kinda stand by silencer holding hands with you and stealing yr creeps
Under 5K people really need to grasp a strong understanding of is how their refusal to contest their early lane experience, massively impacts the rest of the game. I would much rather they play aggressive to prevent your opponent from getting any farm, rather than play safely and also allow the enemy to get farmed.
thanks amazing advise helped me tremendously
Amazing content, thank you BSJ
My team sits in the triangle or the other jungle and i go to split push then i get blamed and reported for not sticking when they fight without me even though i keep marking that i almost have an item that will win us the next fight just wait a min for me. What do i do should i just go fight with them without my item or let my 2-4 teammates die in a bad fight without vision
If it's a bad fight without vision you're probably gonna get killed as well
problem with this approach is , my mmr people follow you religiosly and suddenly now my pos1-2-3 all 3 of them just keep splitting and farming.

What about 2k supp? Do we also farm steadily? I mean with the amount of free camp cores left its possible, but should i farm it?
Atlast a bsj i like, u seem more "nice" u know. and yeah its a good guide. and this is in the NA region right? or are u in amsterdam right now?
I'm confused on when to go armlet or radiance first
I have never seen a reason to go Radiance first, Armlet is much cheaper, much easier to build, and already let's you farm and crit very hard. Literally no pros ever build radiance without armlet first except for when they skip it completely and get midas into radiance.
video we all 2k needed
Love the LTT like sponsor sageway
Great advice!
even wearing the wk t-shirt. nice!
BSJ, asking 2 question with big hopes. Please help me.
I solo que in unranked games 90% of the times & have ~3000 MMR. I am safe lane carry.
Questions -
1. And my item timing messes up badly like power treads in 8 to 9 minutes, darn :(
If you leave lane early, you cant farm NC on these heroes because even the small camp brings down the hero HP to half.
You rock ❤️💯
the more i stare at wk mini image, the more it looks like BSJ right beside him.
Great tips!
Don't ever play relying on your opponents being bad, just play the best game(what's shown in the video) you can play and the mmr will come, trust me.
Back into dota after 3 years. Can someone explain why the pos1 now farms the dead lane even after the tier 1 tower falls?
Because the map is much bigger, there's tons of extra camps to farm so it's much harder to get caught. Back then you could a process of elimination and assume that if a carry pushed a wave they will absolutely be farming their jungle on their way to somewhere else, now you can either be there or farming the camps on the edges of the map, so it's not efficient trying to catch the enemy carry as it takes a guess to know where they are.
@@federicopalacios7439 thank you for clearing things up!
YEAAAA this vid is for me. time to watch
biggest issue is, you won't get the team you want. even supports are also try last hit. you can be a good support as well but if the carries are noobs, you are done.
I am a 4k noob, but at 33:00 it looks like if WK was in the battle right in the beginning, the outcome would be better. This is so true about efficiency, but you are playing with 2k guys and there was a high probability that the fight will begin without you. And it did. So being in this fight right in the beginning would be better at this moment I think.
youre really good wtf
I want to get into the 2k bracket :)
