No mate, dont you understand... the important thing is that you learn about how to play the game, this 'as long as my team doesn't completely throw' nonsense is something you need to stop thinking. It is all you, the heralds who play with you have nothing to do with your improvement! It is the literal biggest gap between highest and lowest ranked players and evidently the majority of the player base would smash herald players, they could smurf on heralds on any new account any amount of times over and over it would hardly matter if the 4 heralds on their side were muppets or not.

@@MrCokewithice To some extent, how your teammates play can indeed still cost you the game as long as there's no night and day difference in MMR. In BSJ's final video with Eri where they played together (look it up if you haven't watched it), they still lost that game despite BSJ being a 9k carry and the enemies were roughly 4k average.

I really want to see a 1k mmr educational smurf support video. I keep trying to do things from the 4k videos but I can't seem to quite get it right or the enemy support doesn't behave in the same way or my core struggles when I go to secure runes and I'm not sure where I'm screwing up exactly. (I'm guardian so I'm sure I'm screwing up a lot it's just hard to work out where the biggest screw ups are 😅)
I think the cuts in the laning phase are too much... I wanna see when you pull and when you don't, and why.
I mean why cut anything if the video is gonna be 38 minutes anyway? I mean if you cut stuff out, cut stuff out where absolutely nothing is happening.
Check out his fundamental videos to understand his game theory. If you want, he does go into it there. It'd be nice if he did, but he probably felt redundant. His coaching and fundamental vids go over it exhaustively
@@misterv6068 Yeah but the thing is, he's already talking about everything he does during the game, it's only after the fact that a lot of stuff are edited out, but I feel its too much, the total game time was 44 minutes anyway so the video length would only be like an extra 10 minutes.

I doubt BSJ is going to read this but something I like to do on maiden in the safe lane is frost bite the larger creep in medium camp so it's weak to pull.
just pull the camp yourself and kill the creep if you are going to waste mana to frostbite it, wtf. stop overthinking
@@aboiajiev yup lol. 1 frost bite to that creep deals more than half of its HP. Just auto attack it, it lasts 10 secs to creeps.

Just watched the 1st 10 min and 4k player are much much better than previous 2k player. Much less error to abuse, and good button pressing. (I.e. the willow pressure , the undying deny tombstone) they are not just running like headless chicken. But then still some large error (dp to in front of cm)

Muting people makes my mmr go up... key word for a mute is usually 'why' as in 'why blah blah blah' yeah nah cya mate we dont gain mmr listening to that
and if the whole team is going a bit mental you press that mute team button and play the game. Mute -> gain mmr -> smiley face

BSJ's explanation on playing Dota seems to be very formulaic; placing a sentry behind the tower because he himself at his bracket wouldn't make such a risky play without vision. Ergo I think higher mmr is just making the absolute best decision based on one's role in the game. However, due to this formula, it's easier for the opponent to know what you're doing based on they'll assume you're making the best decision with the current flow of the game. Lower mmrs leading with emotions and spirit of the moment rather than reason Higher mmrs leading with best decision at the moment gathered through reason.
Somewhere in between is a player who plays with reason but is fueled by spirit
Serious question: Why are you defending safe lane tower for that long? Shouldn't you be with your team fighting and making space?
Making space my forcung enemy team to use resources to get a tower thats as fsr to one side of the map as possible
because enemies were quite strong and he said that he did not want his teammates to just have losing fights for no reason and he was defending tier 1 tower so that after enemy wins the fights they cant capatalize on that
I think they have objective based heros. Dp takes towers, so the best thing would be stop/delay dp by maintaining equilibrium to not letting the wave ricochet as much as possible. Next would probably be to keep an eye on rosh for ursa.

→ Joining team when unneeded makes space for the *enemy team
as a support, you should always be asking questions like "am i needed here?" or "where can i be useful?"
a lot of moments where he was defending safelane tower was because his team didnt really need him to kill/gank/etc. at this point, it's better to simply find farm somewhere on the map. as a poor support, one of the best scenarios is to defend a tower in a dead lane (gives more map control and very important: ensures the enemy team does not take your towers for free).
in your priority list of tasks as a support, this is pretty low priority and you should definitely prioritize tp-ing to help teammates when they are being ganked especially under your own towers (bsj mentions this when he should've tp'd mid at one point)

For gyro mana, as he said. Pretty sure it’s also because gyro have no mana to make play at that time.
He did say he wish he had taken frostbite though. So even bsj misjudged it’s potential.

i just came off a win in the 1700 mmr range as carry jugg, i had 2 griefing cores (mid sniper feeding and spewing homophobic slurs and an offlane troll who got mad for some reason and decided to afk farm and not actually help in any meaningfull way). so it was just me and my 2 supports trying to win, i dug deep into all my knowlege from you bsj and came out with the win, it really proved that all the time ive spent watching your content has truly paid off, im now at the highest mmr ive ever been and the games feel a lot easier at the moment. even when im being griefed. thank you for all you do for the community!

Is the average 4350 MMR on Dire team including BSJ's 6k or whatever much he has? If not the MMR averages are wildly misleading.

The point is to simulate a ranked game where he's smurfing. If he was smurfing in actual games then he would "be" 4k.

@@Blade2323B i got 1010 mmr i do better than what he does here. no hate to him i learnt most of it from his previous vids. he was a really good coach. this is the most shocking vid ever. i learned alot of things from him that i follow. i didnot see him do any of those. early game items were trash. all his laning phase was bad. then i saw the 17th min and i could not tolerate anymore and shut it down. wish he played like he did before
Yes im sure heralds are better than bsj they just unlucky(all of them at once)
If you ignore him building and using items then yes, he plays at 500 mmr as support. But that hardly surprising since he mostly play core carry, so he plays here as if he was carry too (he says it himself - this should be done by carry, but carry doesn't so I will go farm instead of being sup). Also if you take a look at his neutral items tier list, you will see that he put all core items much higher and all sup and pos 3 mage items much lower then they should be.
Learn to use f1-f5 to view teammate heroes faster. Watching u painstakingly place ur mouse in a specific spot in the mini map was killing me.

I would like to know, why he can play and record smurfing video without any report. I know it is educational but those people lost 1 hour of life because he was smurfing. Really valve does not care even it is obvious proor of smurfing?
It is a private lobby without any ranks. Just think of it as a practice match
