I own it. Lots of sounds to play with and can go straight into my Presonus 1818 audio box for recording. Has been used a lot for recording and my customers have enjoyed the ease of use. Lots of products out there to choose from. I also bought the Headrush pedalboard which is another amazing piece of kit!
I own this amp along with the H&K 1x12 cab, FSM 432 MK III footswitch and WMI-1 wifi adapter (This adapter is a rip off in cost) All I can say is nothing in it's category or price range can beat it. The sound and features are above exceptional. I first bought the Black Spirit 200 and thought that little 8lbs sucker was amazing for a SS but then I played the Grandmeister Deluxe 40 at the music store and I was like...Umm shut up and take my money.
I think the tone I get out of mine is a little too harsh and very noticeable during solos, however yours sounds perfect just like all the other RUclips vids, I don’t even know if it’s my cab now
I own the GM Deluxe 40, GM 36, and BS 200. I use the BS 200 for most live gigs, and the GMs for bigger venues like theatres and such. The BS 200 is solid state and does a very passable job at recreating tube-y tones. It also weights like 3 pounds and has no tubes to worry about during gigs. The GMs do sounds better but you have to compare them side by side to really hear a difference. The GMs have more low end balls, but in a live band setting you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. I bought the GM 36 from a friend who was selling some of his stuff as a backup to the GM 40, and then the BS 200 came out. I am pleased with all 3. I have the wifi adaptor and using it with my iPad I can create multiple preset libraries. The native memory for the amps is 128 presets, but using the remote app you can save as many presets as your iPad has memory. These things are like Swiss army knives, they have so much packed into a tiny package: 4 channels all Boost-able, built in noise gate, Redbox DI to go straight into a mixer, power attenuation, delay, reverb, FX suite. All are very good value for the buck.
@gearzombie what are your thoughts on the difference in voicing of the channels (cl,cr,le) between the GM40 and the TM40? I often read that there's a difference.
Very cool, we loved this, and the metal playthrough video as well! Thanks for saying and playing such nice things with the GM40, glad you're liking it so far :)
Thank you!!!!! I genuinely love this amp and am super happy I added it to my collection! I'm putting together a write up for my website as well. Thank you for taking the time to comment!!!!
Great 'to the point' review, without all the fluff. This amp ticks every box I'm after. One of these is now heading my way with a foots witch and midi controller. Well done mate. \m/
I don't know how to remember FX settings. Do you need a midi driver for this? When I press store, all settings are saved except the FX effect. When you switch the channel, the pitch changes and the FX stays the same. I don't have a midi driver 😔
Yes yes yes yes yes! This amp is fucking amazing! It is the most versatile amp I've ever played with. You can do almost anything with this amp if you just experiment with it.
Are the settings on the RED BOX "storable?" Can I set up a bank of say... ten or more sounds and have some of them be clean sounds that BYPASS the RED BOX? If the speaker simulator settings are stored along with the preset, you really have something here.
Have you played a GrandMeister? What are your thoughts?

I really appreciate you demonstrating all of the options on this amp. Well done.
Thank you!! And I still love that amp!
You just showed me more about my amp in 5 minutes er so than I could figure out in a year.
Thanks!!!!

I was pretty happy to hear the classic Sevendust riffs towards the end!
Love your channel Bro 🤘
Some seriously hilarious camera work
Quina preciositat de amplificador! Gràcies per la teva feina!!

Love it bro!!!
Appreciate it!!
Hoping H&K updates the amp with built in WiFi & Bluetooth like the Black spirit.
Is this a good amp for a strat & in particular clean tones? Thanks
I think so yes. Honestly I feel like this is the most complete amp i've ever owned short of using modelers. It does everything really well.

Finally, someone who doesn't use it super wet, with a shit load of reverb. Almost all of the demo videos on here are sopping wet...
Very nice intro ^^
Hilarious!!!
