- Protests in South Florida against police brutality continued Wednesday, June 10, 2020, when demonstrators vandalized a Christopher Columbus statue in downtown Miami.
The Miami Police only reacts when those two protesters smash the windshield of the Police car. That's not peaceful protesting. Good job Miami Police.👍

The guys that got picked on in high school and now have a vendetta against some people. Absolutely agree. But in regards to this video, and only this video, the cops behaved in a professional manner while being baited by "protestors". Furthermore, the Miami Herald has cut it and dubbed it in order to fit a narrative that the cops jumped these people exercising their first amendment rights. That's not the case. I invite you to watch the whole video. The first amendment, and I think that it's being abused right now, protects our right to peacefully voice our grievances with the government. Again, I agree there are some, maybe even several, officers that aggrevate situations, but let's not kid ourselves, at this point these "protests" have nothing to do with Floyd, racism, or police brutality. It's gone far from that and it's sad that these actors are tarnishing the original message.

Look at the windshield. The police responded when the guy busted the windshield, and not when the kid jumped on and sat on the hood of the car, but when the kid hit the windshield with his skateboard and shattered the windshield with people in the car. THAT becomes an ASSAULT, period.

Look at the shot at 1:11 to 1:14 where you can see the windshield busted in by 1-2 inches!

It's awful these protesters provoked this by bashing the windshield of your patrol vehicle.
He smashed the cop cars window with a skate board, he committed a federal crime, he wasn’t being peaceful at all.

It actually was extremely peaceful. Nothing but a bunch of skaters going through downtown, trying to land tricks and protest justice. It’s just one dumbass decided to smash their skateboard on their car and another decided to vandalized a statue causing problems.
