All 128 TASKMASTER (UK) Episode Titles As Of 1/1/23 In Under 30 Minutes

- Every episode title from the TASKMASTER mothership (UK) as of 1/1/23 in less than a half hour. Each episode's clip has its series & episode number denoted at top left. Each series is separated by a single TM stamp. Exact episode titles displayed in YELLOW, with occasional slight embellishments in WHITE (the only exception to this is 12x02, where the show already had the specific title displayed on screen in white) All but one of the titles are narratively featured, the series 1 finale title was never referenced in broadcast footage.
By my count, the contestants who can reasonably claim "ownership" of being responsible for the most episode titles so far (it being spoken by them and/or about them specifically), the top leaderboard is thus:
6 - Mike Wozniak
5 - Bob Mortimer, Liza Tarbuck, Joe Thomas, David Baddiel, Victoria Coren Mitchell, Judy Love
4 - Phil Wang, James Acaster, Johnny Vegas, Fern Brady

and the updated version thru series 15 is here, folks! hope you enjoy, thank you all for being here at all!
and it's not just the latest series, I made changes to probably 80% of the other titles as well, trying to let them breathe a bit more, it's a little over 40 minutes long.
Really obsessed with the fact that two separate episodes from separate series were named for Greg's comment on seemingly more appropriate genres of media for the phrase "this is dehumanizing," uttered twice by two different contestants.
Me too, it’s amazing.
If I had a nickel...
named *after
@@icturner23 "Named for" and "named after" are both grammatically correct, common phrases that can be used interchangeably. Fun English fact of the day!
Which ones
The ever awesome Mike Wozniak is responsible for 5/10 of his season's show names, and 4/10 for the adorable Fern
And 5/10 for the wonderful Victoria
Judi and Liza also named 5 episodes
Really appreciate all the context surrounding them
thank you for saying that, it was honestly one of the biggest draws in bothering to do it. It was a fun editorial challenge to try and still tell the bare bones version of the idea behind each title in as little footage as possible, as opposed to just all the relevant words back to back.
@@kevinw712 excellent work!
I'll be honest, I was anticipating a full minute of Paul Sinha shouting 'HELLO'.
I very genuinely considered doing pretty much just that lol but I really wanted to keep a good pace
James Acaster, Joe Thomas and Mike Wozniak got some of the best titles imo.
Bob mortimer and Judi Love too, tbh
okay if anyone happens to notice this comment - I just realized that as we're now halfway done series 15 broadcasting, I'm going to be redoing this entire compilation but with all of 15 fully included when it finishes, including all of the better/cleaner transitions that aren't in this. All the 'fix it' work's been done on the other ones already for when I put them all individually as series videos on my twitter couple months back, they're not just not back together as a whole yet. But I look forward to incorporating the newest series and have all 15 be together.
edit - granted I won't be sticking as literally to the whole "in under 30 minutes concept" on the redo lol but it'll still amount to under 35
Please use an applicable clip/montage for ‘The Last Supper’. It was after all called that not at random but because of the alphabetical cooking task.
@@icturner23 oh man you gave me a little scare there for a moment, cause I was gonna say the way I did my research for show titles for ones I didn't already remember were full transcripts of each episode. I was afraid I'd missed hearing those words spoken aloud, so I just looked thru the entire task again. But yes, I think at the very least it'd be more fitting to have a screenshot from somewhere clear during that task, instead of the title card that was shown on the actual episode. I thank you for pointing this out to me, I've already done a lot of other work on existing episodes that I'm a lot happier about now, even if it's just very small changes.
however FTR, even though I'd forgotten about the meal-nature of the one task in the finale, I did have a logic for why I was guessing it was "the last supper". I'd reasoned that since they didn't know at the time if this thing they made would get to come back a second time, "the last supper" seemed like a fitting enough title for it. In fact now it seems like it was probably a converging of the two ideas.
@@kevinw712 I personally thought the title was in reference to Alex and Tim's exchange at the end of that task. "If somebody served this to you you would not remain in contact with them." "I've served it to you." "And so it ends."
Excellent work. I particularly found "Aquatic Sewing Machine" to be an interesting one, because since it was delivered during the Prize Task, it's the fastest we've ever gotten an episode title.
I love that this includes the immortal "you took slightly longer than all four of the others combined" at the end of Another Spoon
noticing a correlation between my favourite contestants and the ones saying the titles most frequently in each series... my suggestibility must be rlly high LOL
@@josephheiskell3493 one of, yeah! cant draw a line between him and charlotte tho for series 11 favourite
it's definitely a long running constant in Taskmaster history that the contestants who score the least (or at most, the middle) very often provide the most episode title inspirations. That's kinda part of what makes the first series of the Australian version of the show (whose comp you can also find on this channel) special, in their case almost half of the episode titles were derived from the contestant who WON the show.

'Air horn Andy', who knew Greg was a twitch chatter, what a zoomer-at-heart Andy
Can’t believe Greg missed out on Little Alex Air Horn(e)
taskmaster America but its just 7 jermas on a green screen
Thank you for adding each title as they go!
btw, I apologize that the transitions in this video are basically non-existent (I'd make this a 'pinned comment' if I wasn't already using that feature for the time stamps). like I kinda just made this video for myself at the time, then just decided on a whim to upload it here and I was sincerely dumbfounded it allowed it to remain (I'd stopped bothering ul'ing on YT for years cause things were always rejected immediately). And I mean within each series run itself, since there's the TM stamps inbetween. I DO sort of use a 'system' in I think all but one or two instances where going thru each of the episodes from one series, the yellow text disappearing from the screen means you've officially moved onto the next clip (and the yellow almost always appears when the title's spoken out loud), but I really wish now I'd put in more overt transitions between those bits. That's one significant thing I still like way more about Vimeo, that you're allowed to fully "replace" an existing video with an updated version and keep the same link and stats, but as far as I can tell youtube doesn't allow that. Or else I totally would. And I feel like this one has been up too long now to "start over". Anyway, if anyone is actually still reading this post, just know that you have my respect, for whatever you deem that's worth lol
Interesting that two episode names came from a contestant using the word "dehumanising".
You're doing the lord's work mate
I find these titles to be something of a window to the souls of those who named them. It’s fascinating in a hilarious way.
Bob Mortimer is a MACHINE for these
appreciate the hardwork that went into this
Even if you Literally never age, Stay Humble
what this has basically told me is that series 13 is superior. very good video btw :)
Fern Brady was so good 👍
We desperately need an update!
16:07 what the hell did Greg do to his face? Applying tanning lotion in the shade 'Donald'?!
Nicely done!
Gotta appreciate how many of these are David
I’m always quite taken by how genuinely ashamed Ian Sterling clearly was by his perhaps toxically competitive behaviour in the barrel dad hammock task.
that's because their water's so delicious
You could at least have shown a relevant clip for the Series 1 Episode 6 title.
John Robins and Elis James in the next season??🤞🤞
Hey, one out of two ain't bad
David Baddiel and Mike Wozniak were their series' title masters
