I still can’t believe Josh got that tattoo when the show was on its 1st series and only had 6 eps. It’s absolutely insane and definitely set the bar for the task prizes other contestants brought in the later series.
Yes!
But when is the last time we saw it 🤔
If Josh still has it......the dedication is solid! Still Epic!
But it was almost 10 years ago....think he still has it?
@@iluvdissheetpretty sure he does. Bet there are days he even forgot he has it.
It wasn't even a prize task either. It was one assigned to them via a letter and brought into the studio and Josh was just like "Fuck it, we ball" and honestly, the bar he set? Amazing.
Honestly it's that kind of energy that I think contributed to him being the first Champion of Champions as well.
He also got the tattoo before they recorded the studio!
That’s gotta be a crazy painful spot too, unless the area was fatty enough
Rhod yelling "And she's here tonight!" and Greg deadpanning "She is" and Rhod just going "Oh" gets me everytime 😭
Rhod*
@@superberniecat5042 My bad, I'm not good with names. Thanks!
Very much "hide from your friend's mom" energy.
@@francis7336 so is Greg. He's got all the names written down on a card that he holds.
@@kiradotee Greg is my spirit animal
"Oh. You don't need to walk blindfolded. You should be all right."
Less than 25 seconds later
"Oh sh!t"
I love that Jess whispered to Kerry too "Oh that's what I was about to ask" - or maybe even "Oh that's what I was worrying about". The audio gets cut off a little
The fact that this was a question I think just makes Jess' fall even more spectacular. Such a great moment on TM
I love that everyone (Who isn't blindfolded) immediately breaks character to aid Jess.
The whimsical delivery of “I CHANGED IT” is amazing 😂😂😂
"Please don't take it away from me" is going to have to stop breaking my heart at some point.
Ugh, every time...besides which, he didn't touch it his shoe did... Wait, no proof of that. Shoes generally are a bit off the ground at the tip, so I think he may very well be Above the red, not on it.
It never will 🥲...
@@echognomecal6742 Boo. 👎🏾 it doesnt count, if Greg says it doesnt count!
@@iluvdissheet Um...ok.
I'm commenting on the situation, not the whims of Greg.
He could say that nothing counts & proclaim the disembodied head the winner if he likes. That's neither here nor there.
One of the best TV moments ever.
If someone told me "horse or laminator" would be the most gripping piece of television I'd see all day, I would have laughed... and yet, here we are.
I wonder if she was using his glasses reflection...
@@rumpelstiltskin6150 First think I thought of.
You've obviously never seen Carrot in a Box
@@rumpelstiltskin6150 or one of the other contestants was signing it to her
@@RubenTheCartographerbadiel is signing really subtly.
Ed Gamble's and David Baddiel's drawing task is top tier Taskmaster Madness 😂
"Can I just check... Have I been put on a teem with David Baddiel?" The dejection.
The girls complaining they had three and it would be Chinese whispers and Alex just had to say "yes but they have David Baddiel"
Fun fact: Production now call that extension of the stage "the knappet" after Jess.
There's actually a little sign on the end of it saying "The Knappett".
I LOVE this
I think everyone should work to make that the standard term for a runway extending from a stage in all contexts, not just Taskmaster.
The hill I will always unnecessarily die on is that I wholeheartedly agree with Joe. Iain and Paul did nothing to their erasers.
Greg's sarcastic "This is gonna be some good telly", and it immediately becomes some legendary telly!?
Doc Brown's timing on "That is harsh" is sublime
I love the side comments when nappit feel off- greg going 'oh s***' and acaster saying "Tell me you fell off"- he was quick enough to figure out what happened even though blind folded
Can you repeat that in coherent?
@@bcayeI think you need to relearn reading because the comment is perfectly understandable.
Also enjoyable...Rhod holding onto Phil 😆
...& no one thinking a sad attempt to bring others down somehow raises them up.
How do you miss Kerry asking "what happens if someone falls off? And Alex's answer: you wont be blindfolded so it shouldnt matter for the Knappett to happen? 🤐
Also James holding his hands out like he was gonna catch her is perfect
4:53 One of my all time favourites! And Greg's mom in the bath, his double take was absolutely perfect.
I love that Greg is as delighted as I am by Mike's anachronistic phrasing throughout the show. Just giggling "some street toughs..."
It's a crime to not include Daisy May Cooper wanting to murder Richard Herring for not guessing her terrible drawing was a hippo in this montage.
Yeah, that certainly was a moment for the ages.
ONLY THREE ANIMALS HAVE THAT KIND OF TAIL: ELEPHANTS AND HIPPOS (yes that's the full quote, she says three animals and then name two lol)
I mean there's so much more they could add, video can't be 3 hours long
no see, everything else was funny, that had the air of an abusive relationship
@@Shamanizedbut it can be!
I love it when Greg turns back into a teacher and takes one of the contestants to the back of the stage for a little "talking-to". (As a teacher I've done this myself...)
0:49 subtle ”oh, shit” from Greg gets me every time 😂
Jessica Knappett coming close to seriously injuring herself and Greg IMMEDIATELY going into schoolteacher mode and running over to check she's alright is as heartwarming as it is hilarious.
I love the fact that the reason they chose 9.58 seconds for the hit the drum task is because that is the Usain Bolt 100m world record.
I know the "WOW Monster" is really popular, but I also LOVE Guz Khan's monster.
it was a two-parter to boot lol, like an animal being gently startled awake then immediately aroused 😂
I love Alex's reaction to Guz Khan's monster
It's good, but every time I think of the Wow monster, I laugh.
He's intrigued and aroused@@angryredstone
I just love how few fucks Jo Brand gives XD
Joe cursed the red green so that someone will be disqualified at every task with the red green
0:22 The best premonition ever seen on live tv. She is magical 🎉
Between that and "the king of the stationery cupboard" I think she's got some kind of power
The question is.. would she have fallen if it wasn't said? I think that question gave Jess the idea of what her walk might be like
The I told you so Keri must have given Alex once she learned what happened... Bosh!
6:16 That double take will never get old 😂😂🤣🤣
I think my favorite thing is that after Jessica fell off the catwalk of the stage, it's now called "The Knappit" in future episodes.
15:58 So can I just check...have I been put on a team with David Baddiel? 😂😂😂
You had me at Mike Wozniak in bishop’s hat in the thumbnail ❤
The odds on Jo Brand's mind-reading performance...roughly 820,000 to 1 !!!!
About 1 in 1 that she could see the reflection in his glasses.
Probably! 😅@@volundrfrey896
@@volundrfrey896 My thoughts exactly
@@volundrfrey896 The angles don't really work for that to be how she did it. She would have had to be sitting about as far above Greg as his glasses were above the card for that to work out.
@@christianboehlefeld5168 Gregs looking down.
I love that _even while blindfolded and not really able to help at all_ Acaster's instinct is still to put out his hands.
❤
I love how the box that he can't open becomes a prop later on in the series.
Wait, what!? What have I missed? I never noticed the confusing little box again...
@@Bman1878 the episode where they have to find the ducks. The box has the thing that says “not a duck “
@@Bman1878 yep, Series 13 Episode 1
I have seen all of these clips lots of times, but will never get bored if them!
I love that you can hear the preemptive fury building in Ed's voice as he reads out that live task
Jo Brand’s psychic abilities are SO underrated
Who's underrating them?
James Acaster and the confussing box gets me every time
I can't believe they didn't have James Acaster's rant against Rhod for the "Build an addition to my house" debacle.
“Opened it, went ‘The Perfect Stuff’ and still did that.”
Seeing Alex and Greg laugh at how Katherine said she changed Greg's name is so wholesome. I love it.
Also, the Ivo Kiell moment is one of the golden moments of contemporary TM hahahaha
I absolutely _LOVE_ the double take Greg does when he sees his mum in the bath, makes me laugh every time
Everyone's reaction when Joe's potato toss went in was so incredible ... and his begging, "Please don't take it away from me!", so genuine. I lost my sh*t!😅😅😅😅😅😅
Joe got cheated. Most trainers lift up at the toe. There's no actual proof he made contact with the red green. If you look at his right foot in the last shot, you can see that the toe of his shoe isn't in contact with the ground when his foot is flat.
My favorite moments are when Alex is completely caught off guard by something and bursts into laughter.
Joe Wilkinson touching the red green is in a lot of these compilations, but I'm not complaining.
I can empathise with James. My mouth too says things without consulting the brain.
James in help-mode while Rhod hangs onto Phil, not knowing exactly what happened to Jessica...on the to-be-named "Knappett"... is a heartwarming scene.
Rhod was holding on to Phil before Jessica even started walking! Always makes me chuckle, no idea what was happening there haha
@@tabzywabzy Yeah, but I like the picture it paints lol
I'm guessing one or both of them needs to solidify their relative positions so they don't bonk heads when they whisper lol
Aw, you have a cute name! 😊
Frankie Boyle's giggle is my favorite thing ever. It's adorable and menacing at the same time.
17:47 funfact: the probability of getting right 13 cards in a row is 0.5^13 = 0.0122%
What's the probability if she could see the cards through the reflection on his glasses?
But that is if it was at random independent. But Greg choosing the card means your playing against the person and previous outcomes
I've always thought Katy or someone must have been helping her but I've never found any clips that prove anything. Because the probability really is wild!! (I just thought Katy because in one shot she's touching her hair but most likely just coincidence)
@@James-gm9csbut if she could do that, surely all of them could have? Why would she be the only one to notice it? (& if she was, wouldn't that make it a valid tactic, in light of other TM 'outside the box' solutions?)
@helenl3193 it's possible that because she's quite short she was at the right angle to see the reflection. Or it's that they weren't looking at Greg properly while trying to guess to see it.
Jo Brand threw the game when she sensed *they* were beginning to take interest.
Imagine if Jo won her series solely off horse or laminator
The Wow Monster makes me laugh every time, and Guz's weird, erotic monster noise.
A compilation of many of the BEST moments from Taskmaster! Bring on the next series!
Greg's double take when he looks round to see his Mum in a fez is wonderful.
The potato throw. That was so tragic ! Poor Joe!
1:03 TM is a human being. This is the most human Greg’s moment on the show
I mean, it's not like his persona on this show is tough and robotic. He spends half of every episode giggling.
@@Maialeen true, but he is usually mean at the same time
How did the 150 cheeky texts not get included??? lol
Correction: 148 cheeky texts
I've seen these clips at least 100 times from various YT posts...HOW do they NOT get old?!?!? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Jo's moment in that final task is so amazing still!
0:49 imagine the reactions if they weren’t blindfolded 😱
its amazing that the established titles scam was so convincing that it even ended up on TV with no disclaimer that its a fraud
This si simply the best compilation of task master ive seen so far
I think i need a montage of every time alex says pentultimate
This is just a greatest hits compilation! I love it
Jo getting 13 in a row will always be iconic
"Please tell me you fell off" needs a little more attention 😂
The horse/laminator game was compelling.
I am totally unsurprised that Series 7 has the most clips in this compilation.
That Joe Wilkinson moment will forever be top 3 for me.
potatogate will always be amazing
The fact that Ivo got that shot at Kiels bucket deadon always gets me (sure Kiel got him back too but Kiel generally did better at most things than Ivo lol)
Wonder if he would have had a better series if he'd had more throwing tasks?!
Same for Charlotte Ritchie, her shot-putting Mike Wozniak's bucket tower was unexpectedly good
Ed losing it is top telly!
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING? WHY ARE YOU STILL DRAWING?"
Seriously some of thee best moments!
There is only one meaningful question to ask oneself in life..'horse or laminator?'
Well I wouldn't want to put my granddad's will through a horse.
8:55 is the moment I fell in love with Taskmaster. To realise that this happened months ago and he had been sitting on this victory. The utter real devastation he felt at that moment. Just the best piece of TV drama I have ever seen.
The Joe Potato Debacle is the funniest thing ever…all the way through to completion. 😂😂
The comedy instincts on display here are incredible. Pure concentrated improv comedy.
Josh’s tattoo is still my favourite moment on this show
7:30 I've never noticed before that Alex has a rummage in his little drawer and pulls out a tiny frying pan to fend her off!!!
This might as well be called "the most iconic moments in all of taskmaster" each one TV gold
Omg! I love this show so much ❤
a lot of great moments but after re-seeing them, i'm a new fan of joe thomas' rant about "wanky work arounds." and would have definitely voted against joe wilkinson's potato throw, iconic moment tho, "the thrill of victory, the agony of defeat."
Series 7 is chaotic gold
1:27 In fact, he wasn’t regretting it at all 😂
god damnit I love this fucking show so god damn much!
7:55 He didn't touch it, his shoe did... Wait, no proof of that. Shoes generally are a bit off the ground at the tip, so I think he very well may be Above the red, not on it.
0:54 it looks like James is somehow trying to catch her, after the fact and a good distance away from where she ended up.
I assume it was just to be funny or that sort of cringe you feel when someone gets hurt/falls and you're uncertain if it is bad or not yet. Or it just took his brain a few to realize it. Knowing someone is going down a runway and hearing the audience, about all you can imagine going wrong is that they fell (off the side, maybe more probably just down onto the stage itself, or into the drum), but it still might not immediately come to you when blindfolded.
"Please don't take it away from me". I'll be bitter about it til the day I die. Poor Fella.
It certainly makes great TV!
14:14 The monkey picture will forever haunt my dreams
Oh - That's what that is?! Thanks, I could never work it out! Very odd
Joes face at 17:26 will never not get me
some of the best lines were cut from this. For example, when Joe Wilkinson gets his "verdict" one of the guys who voted against him goes "I fought for you mate, sorry!".
Also, David Baddiel's drawing - He explained it with something like "I couldn't imagine they would make us draw anything else but a person" :D
Ed Gamble is good but the best art one is Daisy May Cooper absolutely losing it trying to defend her drawing of a Hippo
Hold him upside down hold him upside down!!!
So funny. Looking forward to Champion's of Champion's of Champion's.
2:00 Mike Wozniak in reverse! Kainzow Ekim?
Yeah, I've always thought that clip looks like it's been reversed in the edit and I don't know why.
love how half of this is just season 7 lol
I'd love it if we got a Champion of Losers episode. Bring back the low-scorers like Nish, Phil, and Joe Wilkinson to compete.
Joe Wilkinson’s “Please don’t take it away from me.” is heartbreaking.
Look at how low Jo is sitting. You'll never convince me otherwise that she was seeing the reflection of the image on Greg's specs. That's why she went so far.
15:16 wow indeed 🤣
Greg going straight for a gutwrench on Accaster will always pop me
Not a surprise so many chaotic moments came from Series 7
