Hey, man, Densmore is such a sick drummer... he could drop his stick twenty times in one epic song like "The End" or "When the Music's Over" or "Celebration of the LIzard" and still keep it on pace, or at least save it. That's what made The Doors great, lol... but yeah, this is time for The Kinks and I would've condemned you for bringing up nearly any other band aside from The Doors on their page, so yeah, back to the music, babe.
I saw the kinks in the early 70's (or so) at the Melbourne Festival Hall (the 'house of stoush' as it was known as) and this song was (from memory) the show ending-song and it was played just as fast and friggin' loud! I thought the roof was going to blow off the old barn...great effort by The Kinks!!!!
