You know that phenomenon that things just keep evolving into crabs? Feels like every fun metagame eventually evolves into the most boring.
Because it gets solved. And that happens quickly compared to physical games. Then the next thing shakes it back up. The way they do weekly cards and frequent OTAs really mitigates that.

Well, this deck got me to Infinite just now (and a bunch of bots, but seriously it went up well against a good number of decks with Spider Ham and Moon Knight ripping away key cards from opponents), so thanks Jeff. No clue if it's actually good in Infinite ranks/conquest or Gold conquest, but the deck certainly felt competitive against a good number of decks, so it became a question of being able to identify if I was going up against a combo deck and bailing if my output wasn't high enough. Or identifying Hela decks and then trying to rip it out of the opponent's hands from either Spider-Ham or Moon Knight before Turn 6 and running if I didn't rip the Hela out of their hand. Got like 3 retreats from ripping Hela out of player hands or porking the Hela.
(Now SD, please fix the Hela. I have no clue what to do, but I'm pretty sure they'll figure something out, SD has been pretty creative in solving problems, a few duds aside.)
The discard block: cow, moon moon, daken, proxima, and strongdude seems like a blast.
I wish Spider 2099 was a good card, he's just Cannonball but worse in every way

This is the sort of deck that I WANT to be great in Snap, but from playing for about an hour the deck just can't interact with any of the decks going super big, and it has too many ways to stumble and get caught with it's pants down. Even with impressive 40+ point final flourishes, when an opponet plays Wong or starts discarding cards you're finished.
Correct. You beat those decks with your proactive disruption, or you leave. It's very similar to Darkhawk.
@@JeffHoogland I wonder if it's at all correct to play a different tech card over USAgent? I felt a lot of tension with him and Hellcow/Proxima/Stature, and it certainly felt like he didn't actually do a good job of shoring you up against decks going bigger. So maybe Cosmo in the current meta?
Obviously you put Agent in the deck because you felt it was correct to play, and I think in a lot of metas he'd be fine, but there are so many decks going so big right now I feel like Cosmo could do work?
payed 6k for Proxima and I need to recoup my investment somehow and look like stature and moon-knight are always mate at doing that

Stopped playing this season, 1 week ago. Played 40 games between main and second account and I faced 37/40 Hela matches. This is beyond unreal… absolutely disgusting that a monkey can beat you doing nothing…

Sweet deck! Wish we could delete Hela so changes to hellcow and similar could be interesting instead of this Hel(a)scape. Been having a lot of success against Hela with 4-5-6 combo. Wong/symbiote/namora/panther/arnim/odin

Of course Mogwai is back. I'd probably watch some of his stuff if he wasn't so dramatic every time he left a game. Seen it now a couple times on LoR, TFT, Snap...
He certainly went a degree of nuclear complaining everything about SNAP was a scam on his last leaving.

i’m such a bad snap player. i refuse to play decks if it dosent look good like visually. i do play the deck but it feels bad to play.
You mean variant wise or just how it looks playing it?
variant wise. and sometimes how it plays which is normal

Bro chill. Once you reach infinite, you can do whatever you want and it truly wouldn't matter, in any way. It's a game. Have fun. I climbed to rank 5K and then made a gambit Wong surfer deck. It's not competitive. It's a meme deck. But it's fun to wipe out all 12 cards of your opponent. I can definitely make a more competitive version, but I don't have those necessary cards. I'm a budget player. I'll just wait for the necessary cards. Meanwhile, I'll have fun with it.

I really think Hela should have her text be changed to "On Reveal: Discard your highest power card and then fill this location with each card you've Discarded this game." Now it has more predictable power and is drastically more limited to win 1 lane and still make her vulnerable to clog effects.
This would make it so you would now play her with Ghost Rider as you would try and and play him early to get value from your discards and then Hela last turn to fill an empty lane turning it into your favor.
It would force deck building to use more tempo and midrange cards rather than stockpiled 6 drops, and ideally, the deck doesn't want to discard more than 4 cards unless playing other discard payoffs like swarm, Wolverine, and Proxima.
It would make her more interesting because maybe you would want to run Doom and Living Tribunal to distribute stats across other locations.
