When do you recommend applying in terms of a mowing cycle? Grass is currently grown out and ready for a mow now, do I cut and apply, cut and wait 48 hours to apply, or apply and wait 48 hours to apply? Thank you!!
The more vegetative material you have the better. These chemical get taken into the plant via the leaves. I would spray, wait 48hrs, mow. That would put the maximum amount of stress on the weeds.
Don't put it on St Augustine. It has 2 4D and will brown up St Augustine really bad. Image is rated for St Augustine. Do a quick search on my channel. I did a product review on it several years ago.
Correct. It can yellow up Bermuda and zoysia when it's hot. Review your label before you spray. Different concentrate of product in the bottle will have different temperature requirements.
I sprayed most of my yard with the ready to use version of this, thinking I picked up one that was a weed and feed... I'm in the midwest and I don't think the grass is a kind that it says it will kill. Do you think I killled my yard?
Without knowing what type of grass you have I can't answer that question. But it's paramount to always read the label and understand what the product is intended for.
I would have to look at the label but I would be cautious using it in a garden setting. This has 2-4d and it is systemic. Any dicot you plant in the garden may take it up and exhibit chemical damage.
@@Dr.Warren Ok thank you! And when im ready to spray the weeds is it still 2.5 fl oz of product for every gallon of water or do I not need to add water at all?
What in the world is wrong with America? What happened to the America I used to know? It used to be such a good country to live in, but now I buy a quart of weedkiller for lawns and there is only one thing I want to know and that is, since this says "concentrate", I want to know how to dilute it. What is the ratio? That's all I want to know. I don't care about storage, or first aid, or Environmental hazards, or anything else. I only want to know HOW to use this product and it gives me nothing. Can you believe it? What has happened to the world? Does it not know how to love?
Could I just put it in a garden watering can and spot apply if i don't have a sprayer?
i have bermuda grass btw and live in south texas.
Always go by the label. My initial thoughts are probably not.

How long do I have to wait after applying before I cut the grass ?
I'm not sure it's on the label but I would think 48 hrs would be more than enough
What's the best way to apply this? Should I focus at the plants base? Or just spray at the leaves and stems /base?
Both. 2-4d is taken up by foliage and roots.
I’m trying to kill the weeds/grasses growing beneath my horseherb without damaging the horseherb. Will WeedClear work?
2-4d is systemic. I wouldn't use around anything not included on the label as safe
@@Dr.Warren Thanks for your help.
Thanks for this video - can this product be used on St. Augustine lawns in Texas in the summer?

@@Dr.Warren Thanks so much! I had already concluded it might not be a wise choice - thanks for your help, I will check that one out.
How often can we use this?
Read the label. I can not remember off the top of my head but it should be on the label.
Can’t spray in 90°. Ok to spray late evening when it’s 80°? Great video!

do you need to remove the weed after they died?
No just let it decompose.
Is this product effective against the prickly thistle type dandelions?
Yes, it works on pretty much any broadleaf
Great helpful video will let you know how this works for me
How many hours can I water my lawn after spraying?
Wait about 24hrs. Technically once it's dry you should be ok but wait a day. Also 2-4d is systemic so even if it washes off the roots will suck it up.
When can I garden after applying this and clearing my garden area
I would have to look at the label but I would be cautious using it in a garden setting. This has 2-4d and it is systemic. Any dicot you plant in the garden may take it up and exhibit chemical damage.
Can I use a regular roundup spray tank from lowes instead of the dial N spray tank?
Yes, rinse the tank completely and run some water in the spray hose to get out any residual chemicals before using.

@@tonypaoletto read the label and mix the appropriate amount. Sometimes they change concentration of product in the bottle.
Great video! Thanks for sharing the information.
did you use a surfactant?
No, I applied it according to the bottle for demonstration. For my general use I usually will add 1oz of surfactant per gallon.
Thank you!
I hope it helps. Thanks for watching
Does it kill Poa?
No but this does.
