I really hope the canonical "really fucking long list of TASer names in the TAS submission" tradition isn't going to be lost because of scattershot. All these years since the last 120 TAS, I've been really looking forward to seeing SM64 "120 Stars in 1:XX:XX by..." followed by like, 50 names.
it'll still be the same name but krithalith's name is added to the end. Scattershot still needs a good run of an idea as the base to be even more efficient
US is basically faster because of JP having time stop. Time stop means you have to read the metal cap text box and can't skip as many text boxes in BBH so US ends up edging JP out
Scattershot really did revolutionize SM64 TASing.
Was this scattershot?
Nvm just red desc

Very cool strat! Nice job! Surprised at the version difference.
Might be the craziest idea i’ve seen actually play out
Dude scartershots movement is just so much cleaner
"Then all we need to do is build up speed for 2 seconds"
Can't believe that works lol. Awesome strat
Rainbow ride recently has been showing its true colors. Pun intended
This is truly a wonderful time for the SM64 community : )
I knew something like that would come in handy some day...
It's crazy how many times Scattershot has proved that what would otherwise be considered slower movement is actually stupid fast
Looks like an RTA strat lol
Wtf you can skip the ledgegrab?! SM64 really is the game that keeps on giving
goddam. this is a us exclusive timesave, right?
i didn't actually realize, but yes it is
i guess you could say that was a breeze hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
banned
Narrator: It was not easy.
catch these nuts swingin in the breeze
@@typhoonthunder done
@@typhoonthunder i am also a fan of I Wanna games. My favorite is IWM
so, is this essentially obsolete for 120 because it doesn't work on the JP version? that's a huge bummer
120 TAS work is on the US version
@@PaLiX Huh, I didn't know that! Is US faster for other reasons?
