This video is more of a documentary than a vlog...and that's because I tried to fit 7 days of footage into one "day". Never a good idea, but I learn from my mistakes sometimes.
I may not have been 100% clear with explaining stuff, I tried....if you have any more questions let me know.

No one is bored, no one is lonely, everybody has skills that help the community. Good food, clean environment, multi generational living. It hurts my heart that I know no one, including myself, that lives like this. I am very happy to see that you do.
I was raised in a cult very similar to this. It was one big family as long as you obeyed the rules but there was always a deep, hidden sadness in me until I got out. Even then, it took me almost 2 decades to get my depression & anxiety & chronic illnesses under control. It seems different with this clan but we will probably never know the secrets they keep from the general public. Hopefully she's as happy and content with life as she seems.
@Greatest Ever ~ Hutterites are average ppl, just like everyone else. My parents left the the colony with my family when I was six. I would not call it a cult. You can leave whenever you want, and no one can stop you. They have their problems just like everyone else, because they’re human, but the vibe of the colony depends on the person in charge, and that is the minister. We loved going to visit or my aunts and uncle’s and grandparents during the years we’ve left. With the exception of one, the one we left, we were welcomed, and had a great time visiting. Most colonies are OK, some are not, but believe me, Adina is not under some bondage, pretending for the camera ( I can easily say that, never having net her by what I see). If she were in a colony like that, she would NOT be allowed to do what she’s doing, so you can trust her videos are sincere, and she’s in a good one. I’m sorry about your painful past :)

@@2ysur2ysib my cult allowed us to leave too but without support from friends and family. That makes it very hard (almost impossible) to establish a life outside their boundaries. I watch old videos of myself and see that I acted much like Adina. You would NEVER know the pain and turmoil I was going thru. We learned to hide our true emotions and pretend to be happy no matter what.
@@greatestever8976 sadly those cults have left a lasting Mark on many and a bad stereotype of anyone living in community setting, and sadly you are now a victim of that stereotyping yourself. Just because you had a bad past, you now label and judge everyone and anyone and anything that even looks remotely similar. That's bondage, and you dear are depriving yourself of so much, because you are looking at the world through a muddy rear view mirror. Jesus came for you too. He loves you and can deliver and set you free. Matt. 11:28-30.

I think that’s important for all families. Studies have shown how your children will function as teens and adults based on did you have a family dinner at least 5 days in a week or not. Statistics show those without family dinners together struggled more as they grew up and entered adulthood.

That is the best communal living facility I have seen yet in a video. I would have liked to get a better view of the church and perhaps one example shown of a sleeping area and meeting area. Also I did not see any books on a shelf and was wondering what type of books might be permitted and weather real indoor plants are permitted. I was also wondering if there are various days that your facility helps the poor in the community by contributing pantry food or preparing a meal and taking it to them where they are locally.
I loved this video and seeing how smoothly the kitchen is run! How often do the ladies cook for the community? Every day? Just supper? Once a week? And how many siblings do you have?

I grew up visiting Concord colony in Manitoba all the time and I remember always eating the fries and loving them...I loved to visit the colony and check out the barns and play with all of the kids.

I grew up eating cottage cheese pierogi. We made them with dry cottage cheese and shredded cabbage, then they were fried in butter. Yum! Learned it from my Polish/Russian grandmother. I would love to have some right now!

I know this is the best way to live, as a community of participants that have much say and do, so they can fulfill goals and needs for the many, the collective, not the few! I love my Hutterite Brethren! I grew up in the 60s and 70s in Southern Saskatchewan, and my parents had connections with Hutterites thatta way, so alot of our food, blankets, dairy, bread, even winter clothes and dresses they made we received from our beautiful farmer friends! I'm the same way now. Love it!. Live it! Thanks Adina! I agree with your aunty re you on YT! Keep going girl! , You are awesone and humorous! This is yet another great show! Peace🙏❤

Cooking and cleaning in a big kitchen is hard work. I used to be a lunch cook at a University and cooked for 500 people per day. You guys make a lot more food from scratch than the cafeteria I worked for. Mashed potatoes were always instant which is terribly sad. I enjoyed watching.
