Cleaning is much different when you're all alone than when you're with friends. Anything done with friends brings added joy!
This video was randomly suggested in my feed(that means you're doing something right!)and I must say I had never heard of Hutterites prior to coming across this video- and I'm certain that there are numerous of others who have no clue about the existence of this community( I had to Google Hutterite). It's very nice to see lovely individuals such as yourself, Adina, for making amazing videos and providing an insight and knowledge of your beautiful community.
It would be really nice to see an educational video with some history of the Hutterites!

It would be beneficial and interesting if you did a playlist/series of step-by-step "How To's" for ladies out there who weren't taught how to housekeep...For instance, I was in the foster care system from age 4 until I aged out at 18 and when I was thrust into the world I had to basically teach myself how to do all these things myself (by the grace of God)...I don't know if you consider your RUclips viewers as your "area of influence" (2 Cor. 10:13) but younger ladies (either in age, skills or talent) would be helped by you and the skills your Hutterite friends/family (Titus 2:5) can bestow upon us less trained. Thank you for sharing your world with us, Adina!

Adina this is not silly at all. Your cleaning kitchen method means things last longer and perform with efficiency for the life of the products you rely on. It's really the sensible way.

I've just got our windows to do but I know they won't come out as clean as what you gals could do. Your video did inspire my to bleach an entire aluminum vintage cabinet........cobwebs and dirt GONE! :P
Being a hutterite lady myself I've always mentioned hutterite ladies should be restaurant inspectors. Few times eating out my husband always gets the biggest kick out of me how I inspect everything. Sometimes I wish we weren't so darn clean. Lol 😆 🤣 😂
I never thought about cleaning my kitchen ceiling untill I watched your video. I began to hand wash the ceiling and I noticed a light film from cooking oils, smoke etc was being washed off ! Now it's going to become part of my cleaning routine ! 🌸🌷

Might I also suggest getting in the habit of cleaning under and behind the stove & fridge every 6 months. I'd pull my dishwasher out if I could but I at least clean the filter in it every month plus clean the garbage disposal in the sink every week. Proper cleaning keeps things running well and last much longer.
@@robinsuewho9430 not only did I wash behind the fridge, I had to repaint the wall as well. I don't think back there had ever been cleaned! Yuk!😱

I‘m from germany and here spring cleaning is called „Frühjahrsputz“. I‘ve done this some weeks ago and after finishing it feels so great: everything is clean and smells good and I feel so much more comfortable at home 💖
I would love to clean in a group like this. So many more opportunities for giggling and joy. I’m 42 and I can only name one single occasion where I cleaned together with my mom and Auntie. It made the work go faster and it was more fun too. Otherwise I’ve always cleaned solo. Thank you for sharing your life and community. 💜

You came on my feed randomly. Since I Love a good cleaning, I decided to watch.
When first married, I had to read books on house cleaning and decluttering. "The Messies Manual" (I think the author was Sandra Felton) and the book recommended in that book covered it. The book recommended was written by a professional cleaner who started doing house cleaning in college as a side job. Bottom line from him was that if it has a surface it needs cleaning and let the chemicals do their work, don't be so fast to wipe it off.
From there it was just a study of different ways to organize.
My husband had such bad allergies that his eyes would swell, and one time they even swelled shut so as to need to use his fingers to see. Anyway....
I used to do a Spring and Autumn cleaning like this and it is Very satisfying. I'm now living in 'construction mode' as my husband turns a pole barn into a house. I can't wait to get back to a functional home.
Doing it as a community is really wonderful. The church I started off in used to do a lot of things that way. We even changed a roof as a group, volunteering, for one of their church members. I miss that. Things aren't quite the same anymore.

I work at a drill sharpening shop and we wash the walls several times a year the same way but only one person does the whole building . A group would make fast work for sure. Now I feel the need to clean !
I need you all to come visit me in Australia.... my house hasn’t been spring cleaned fully in 10 years as I had a car accident broke neck and damaged my back...now multiple (five) operations later I’m trusting the Lord I will get better! But after we’d cleaned the house and shed I could take you around Tasmania so you could have a good look so beautiful! I love the fellowship you all are having as you work! It reminded me old working bee’s at church when I was growing up in Texas!

I was really struggling to organize my room. Thanks for the tip to put every thing on top my bed. I even gave things under my bed. A lot can go to goodwill or trash. That's a great idea! Bless you!

As an older person, my advise is to PLEASE WEAR GLOVES. I have "dishwasher hands" meaning I have lost my cuticles and have inflamed and painful fingers not to mention paper thin and damaged finger nails. Years of cleaning witout gloves, now paying the price.
Bless your hear! Prayers for you.... I hear you.... I am in my early 50’s and my hands are a wreak! Because I also have allergies to latex, rubbers, adhesive etc.... so cleaning, laundry and gardening all show! I also come from a long line of both Polish and German women with rough hands crippled with arthritis.... that has already begun..... my nails are good, but my skin is always like sandpaper!
If I had that many adult helpers and no little kids to interrupt, I’d clean like that too.

Hire help or ask friends and family, nobody said you have to do it all by yourself!
I saw several children helping in this video. You have to train them up in the way you want them to go. Not preaching here...I have no idea how to get little ones to clean, I’ve only been amazed to see others accomplish it!
Well you can train little kids to help, but they are not really "helpful" until they're a bit older. So I think it's realistic in a large family setting to just say, you know what, my house is going to be a little dirtier until these kids get older and they can help more. But I think the reason that the Hutterites can get everything so clean is because they live in a communal setting. They all live together and that's all they do, is be together and do this stuff.
@@majesticvma this is very true! There are simple tasks everyone can pitch in with! For example my 1 year old puts away all the shoes on the shoe rack every night, the 4 year old folds clothes and puts them in drawers and my 6 year old hangs clothes on the hangers because she can reach and the rest cant. The 1 year old puts away soft toys, 4 year old small toys, and 6 year old all the pens and pencils...and we do this every night. It takes 25 min for them to clean most of the house as a team and when they go to bed all I'm left with is a quick sweep and mop, and dishes, laundry fold, and it all takes under 40 min to do the whole home!
Taking advantage of washing the tub and sinks before their bath time helps maintain a clean bathroom, while they bathe you can get to washing bathroom floors and toilet...etc....its all about productivity! :) all ages can help and ACTUALLY contribute, not just pretend help! Love this!

I went to high school with a girlfriend who lived in a minnenite community. And she talked about doing the deep cleans. I totally get it. Loved how you all worked together. 🌸🌺❤️🤗🌹 Good job!

So appreciated and enjoyed your video! Sometimes I feel like my family finds me to be crazy and obsessed about cleaning, and then every once in a while, (God is so knowing and aware...) they visit another’s home.... (now during Covid... see how others live on camera..... ) and again are so grateful to return to a far better run and cleaner home! Haha I am by far not a stellar housekeeper!!!! Especially now, during pandemic..... I don’t have extra help during then month to deep clean.... My kids are home from HS and full remote, and I’m also helping my older/aged parents with meals, and shopping/medical needs.... This video was a great reminder of some cleaning details... I also think I may need to work with another, as a team for support and fun.... haha, I have been struggling to keep 4000 sq feet and full finished basement, home, with an huge kitchen (in constant use), five full bathrooms and one half bath, bedding for four beds, family laundry, and the meal plans, shopping, and prep all going....I pray a few times a day! We have some land, too many weeds to pull, yards to mow, and garden to tend.... We also have a sweat rescue dog ( she has been with us since this last Dec 26th?, and is 11yrs old ( as I’m told) ... it is clear she was abused at some time... enough about me.... I would love to follow, and send 🙏🏼❤️🕊 prayers of blessings, love and peace to you, and your “family community”.

If I could only get 1 person to help me clean any part of my house it wouldn't look like I'm on the verge of being a hoarder and you could possibly tell the difference between the chicken coop floor from the kitchen floor!! I think I have a new #1 bucket list item. I would absolutely love for these women to come to my Idaho home and clean. Just once would be like a dream come true. Now with heart problems it is even harder to keep up..wonderful job ladies!!

I never in my wildest dreams thought I would see Hutterite women on a RUclips video. I’m from Montana, I’ve been to several colonies over the years and I worked as an assistant midwife for one of the colonies.
The women were very very shy. As you can imagine the ladies were extremely modest about even discussing their due dates with us. And they still dress a little more modestly than your colony.

Wow! This is how my Puerto Rican mom taught me to clean. Scrub every nook and cranny throughout the house. It's a lot of work but very satisfying. Now I'm teaching my family to do the same. I only wish I had friends that cleaned the same way to tag team each other's homes.
