Captain, thank you as always for the kind words! The miniature flush magwell is really just to minimize materials and turnaround time for the shop. It has all of the function of the big one but only about 1/3 the plastic and print time. Also since it's one piece you could conceivable start a game round with a few mags then switch to the hopper and start scavenging without too much added bulk.
I could absolutely see a use for them if you still did something that would line up with the top and tapers down to flush past the mid point bulge or some design purposes. I like the flush look though.
Asthetically, the Master key version looks incredible

The modified Matrix is insanely fast, like how you showed the difference in firing with the two. Your not alone, I like the Stampede too. When the pistol gets modified, it will be awesome. I wouldn’t mind one of these, thanks for sharing!

If only the Matrixfire can be modded to take short darts. Maybe a pusher mech built into the mag adapter.
It doesn't use a pusher. It uses a roller. You would need to find a way to move the roller closer to the flywheels.

The Matrixfire with the Magnus masterkey look vaguely like The AR2 from Half Life 2.
I'd be curious to see what stocks could be used/printed to really fill out the blaster and in turn maybe stabilize it a bit more
There's a buffer tube version available too, I'm also finishing up my own folding stock ecosystem for the takedown and will be combining that system wit this one eventually

Would you think having both the magazine adaptor and the original hopper and then switching as the tactical situation demands (I'm thinking for either a Medium Infantry or a Heavy-curious Infantry) makes for a good idea or is it too much hassle for not much gain? (God, I hope the syntax in that sentence makes even a remote semblance of sense...)
Personally I don't think it would be worth the hassle. You would have to be able to store both the hopper and the adapter easily on top of storing magazines. I feel it would be more useful to just store more mags. The hopper is a bit of a hassle to reload and does not carry all that much ammo compared to the larger mags.

Sorry im a little late to this but i wanna do something like this with my matrixfire. What motors did you use for your 2s build of it? It sounded like you said stock ones in your original video but i cant imagine they would hold up to a lipo very well so im probably misremembering.
I believe I ultimately went with Meishel 2.0s.
Hey I need some help, I bought the mag conversation kit as well and started having feeding issues, what did you do to yours to get it feed smoothly?
I increased the size of the opening leading to the flywheels. The darts were getting caught there.

Is there a type of dart rifling that actually works on longer ranges at lower fps and then setting it to a higher fps would make it work better at shorter ranges?
Not that I am aware of
@@CaptainXavier and a type of spring loaded systeem where the rifling gets pushed in with to much fps, thus changing accuracy and giving a good range..
But would that work, keeping in mind that the lower fps can result in possibly the upper end of the high fps without rifling to a slightly higher range due to factors probably needing to be tested..

Shhhhhuger honey iced tea! That short kit is pretty sweet. I've been looking for something like this. Auto Stryfe is too much of a pain. BUT! How well will it take short dart mods?
It will not take short darts at all. Not without a WHOLE lot of mods.
@@CaptainXavier well dang :( i'll rewatch some of your videos and see how much modding I'd have to do, i don't mind the project, i can't remember if it's pusher or belt fed
@@nerdtvch5 neither. It is a weird asymmetric wheel. You would have to shift it forward for it to feed half darts. Not entirely sure that would even be possible given the geometry of it all.

I just ordered the mag adapter from Cake does this mean it won't get any range because of the rate of fire?
Correct. You will either need to mod it to reduce the rate of fire or upgrade the internals to be able to keep up with the rate of fire. Or fire in short, controlled bursts.
Or use it only for last ditch banzai charges or close quarters battles.
(Sorry Cap you may have answered this during the last video about these kits) how well do drums behave in the modified one?
You clearly have not seen my drum mag dump video on TikTok. They work great. Better than blasters with a pusher since you don't have to worry about timing.

Boils down to “why shoot one dart when you can dump your entire mag on that one guy in particular!” (You know the one, THAT guy!!!)
I recently got my hands on a 50 rd Titan drum and put it in my modded Matrixfire as a test. It ate the entire drum in about 2.5 seconds. So I'd say it work pretty well with drums.
What flywheels are you using on the matrixfire cap?
No idea. I think some random worker wheels. Could be OOD wheels. Hilariously, despite the absurd RoF, it really hasn't been optimized.
