Yeah I got to agree with them the Accu Ultra darts are amazing and they usually go on sale on Amazon periodically for half the price for 20 darts

I'm currently stocked at 120 rounds but only 1 mag to shoot them with lol, no one is selling the mag set for Ultra in the USA 😔

I think that giving ultra darts the ability to pierce shields would give them a nice nieche that helps make them more useful

Maybe a game type where a whistler dark is a freeze or shock effect? Get hit and you are "stunned" for ten seconds but do not have to go to spawn?

Sorry I'm late commenting but I've been offline for two weeks with "Tech Issues". These Hammershots look and sound cool. I never thought I'd see Ultra ammunition get that many straight hits in a row. And lastly since I last spoke to you my collection has grown again...I now have a "Ubiquitous!, a Strongarm and an N-Strike Nite Finder. I also got one half of a Retaliator (missing it's barrel and grip) and finally I got a Barrelbreak...all in one Ebay purchase. I missed out on a Hammershot however as Ebay glitched and I ended up getting outbid. Keep up the good work Cap'n.
Now you just need to find the mod to have swappable cylinders in a hammershot

Great video like always. Hey Cap, do you generally leave spring spacers in place when not using them or just in blasters you need to open up(basically anything not DZ Pro or set up to swap springs easily i.e almost everything else) leading to how fast does the spring power degrade from the constant precompression?
I don't usually use spring spacers at all. I prefer proper upgrade springs. For the very reason you mentioned.
I love hammershot blasters! I want to try some of those cylinders.
I miss the whistling darts, they were my favorite.

What I find screwy is that there aren't many half-dart cylinder options for the Hammershot. Radioactive has one, but it's an inline style that requires shell modification and as far as I can tell there's only one other you can buy, the rest you need your own printer
Radioactive has several. At least one of which does not require shell cutting, (the 16, I think) And there is at least one that I know of on Etsy that also requires no shell cutting. Plus any cylinder for elites that does not have a center post can take half darts. You just have to push the darts in.

@@MeAmMelonLord If it’s okay that I jump in the conversation. On i Etsy I have found a 7 round half dart cylinder for hammershot sold by a seller I believe is called smenterprises. I haven’t used the cylinder but by looks of it looks pretty nice, also judging by the reviews the cylinder is a really good one to.
I’d like to see the AccUltra with that cylinder.
Especially for a Werewolf game mechanic we (Lazy Uncle’s) talked about for a possible Halloween game
Radioactive designs also has a 8 round elite cilinder. Can also hold 16 half darts, and works as an in-line clip with those. Have one on my larp hammershot.
Actually, my 8 round elite cylinder holds 16 half darts, and shotguns them. My 16 round inline clip cylinder shoots 16 individual half darts, but can also fire 8 elites if you had to. It is an important distinction.

So this may be an odd question but with the hyper cylinder did you try to shotgun them at all? I’m sure with the stock spring and a spacer it wouldn’t have done well but I’m curries if with a stronger spring you could treat it like snake shot almost. Just a thought

Could you shotgun the hyper rounds, like 3or 4 rounds in the cylinder. The fps would tank, sure, but firing off 4balls at close range might be beneficial.
I doubt 2 rounds would even clear the cylinder much less 3 or 4.

Yeah. They are so small it is very hard to find them. So many outdoor events to no allow them. Indoor events are fine
Whistler darts are fun. Great in a shotgun (roughcut) with two at once,

Yes. The support is necessary for the blaster to function.

I suspect Rival ammo has too large a diameter for it to be possible...but I could be wrong.

Anyone know a good place to get Elite whistlers? The one's I've seen are very high priced for a small amount. Been wanting some since I only have a few that came with 2 Nerf Reflexes.
I wonder if the hyper blasters are over speced for the ammo. Does hyper get more accurate the lower the fps?

A 3mm slice of Mega Dart works great as a seat for Hammershots

i feel like whistlere darts could be used in a zombies game like as a noise maker thing to like draw zombies a bit it wont work the best but hey its a idea or for the ultras that whistle
Oooooh, I love that idea! Zeds have to chase the dart and cannot doing anything else until they touch it! It would be hard to implement on a large scale but might work in smaller games.
@@CaptainXavier it could also serve as like a flare or distres signal like you fire it and near buy players could come and help if they hear ir like if your in a room alone and dont have the fire power needed the only real problrm i can see with it is obviosly if there is to much noise or walls are to thick also since people would probly choose ultras over the og whistlers it could get pricey becuse last time i checked ultra darts are kinda hard to get and more expensive unless they started makeing more of them and i also remember they dont really hold up well to use like arnt they like a paper almost
@@CaptainXavier i also have 2 questions 1 how much do most nerf blasters go for at goodwills becuse im thinking of hitting up one near me so i can look for some sort of side arm becuse im stuck with a delta trooper and a crossbolt thats jams way to easy and i have lost like 10 darts to witch brings me to question 2 is there a way to make it so the crossbolt is not a dart eating machine becuse i went from having like 40 darts to well 30 btw i also have a adventure force minigun but it is to slow and i dont like flyweel nerf blasters to much becuse of the sound its just not grate like some blasters i like but its more like some of the modded or rival they also just feel to like clunky and weird it would be cool if some one made like a nerf blaster that uses co2 to fire a dart and that uses left over gas to chamber and like prime a new round like gas piston driven guns have

Yes. There are higher capacity cylinders, dead space fillers, better seals, better lube, better o-rings, and all kinds of cosmetic kits.

You can also lengthen the draw and barrels. Radioactive52 has a youtube channel, just search for tripp miller. He magically got a hammershot over 200 fps, it's insane.

Why has no one looked into making an Ultra 3 with an external mag instead of an internal mag?

I like the pump blaster with the power of the ultra just hate the internal mag of the ultra 3. Its quiet as its pump, its fairly accurate, its powerful, but the reload speed is BRUTAL and i simply cant be bothered when theres faster alternatives and the only other mag fed ultra that im aware of is motorized or the pharaoh which is bolt which im not really a fan of im considering a commision if you think its possible.
Honestly, ULTRA would've been better received if the flagship blaster WASN'T a flywheeler. Springers are far more consistent of a platform for a new experimental ammunition type because there's far far less variables to account for
Agreed. And other blaster then the Ultra 1 would have made all the difference.
Wish more people would use boomco darts
I wish more people used old Mega and Titan rockets. But once an ammo type dies there isn't much hope in bringing it back.
I am actually currently designing a 10 shot boomco cylinder for the hammershot and Reflex 6!
Hyper hammer shots are gonna be lethal, with a k26 spring in it that is 😏
