I started learning Blender just a few days ago, and you've captivated my interest and fueled it even more. Thank you for all your work, and especially for making tutorials very structured and easy to follow. You are truly bringing joy to all the students picking up Blender!
I'm studying 3D recently, and I'm enjoying your tutorial. Please upload a lot in the future. Thank you for the great video. I'll learn and do my best! ^-^
A really great tutorial Roman and I am surprising myself with how much of this I can follow and predict you will do having only completed Episode 3 of your beginner course. I’ve attempted to learn Blender SO many times and have given up in pure frustration but for the first time I can know the majority of shortcuts you choose in this tutorial and how you will use them.
Awesome! That's how it's supposed to be, my courses should unlock your understanding of the software and make it following the YT content a breeze :) Thank you for kind feedback
Hello polygon runway;i'm in love with your channel many years ago, i was practicing blender 3 years ago but i saldy left it;but i'm back again on blender and i feel it this time i'm going to stick to blender for the rest of my life, but i feel a little bit distracted about where to start ,can you genuinely suggest me a playlist of yours i can start with?,so i don't feel overwhelmed as i always felt 😂
PLEASE PLEASE start putting the version of the blender you use in the title again please! I was struggling in the preferences and realized that my version 4.2 doesn't use it
I saw that cyberpunk foodtruck you once made today. I think it looks really nice and want to ask for your permission to design it as a lego model and then upload it on Lego Ideas. Please answer to this comment
The Knight was way too complex to model. That really did take a bit of patience to edit all the vertices. the final image was very detail and inspiring. I really get sick when I try to model complex ones. Thanks for the this beautiful tutorial.
Hey thanks for the tutorial, I have a question, I've completed this tutorial and now I want to light the scene, add other elements, and try to replicate your thumbnail. I'm having a hard time with that and cannot do it. Can you help me with it or if you can show me how you did the rest of the things that would be really helpful as well
Hi, PolRun, I love watching your videos, especially the short versions where you focus on making a small item... Sometimes I try to recreate your work and it makes me happy to do that... But then I started looking at other people's huge arts... they look so fantastic... it makes me lose motivation because I know I'll never be as good as them... For example I went to SketchFab and I found some great arts and they cost like 3 to 5 dollars... Here I am learning my best to recreate small items around the house, and then there is someone who made an entire interior design filled with so many items and it costs 3 dollars... Can you believe it? Even if someone was willing to pay for it, I wouldn't feel happy about it...
Why wouldn't you be as good as them? You don't have to mimic their art, you can go your own way, find your own style and be the best what you can be in what you do. That's often quite enough to have a successful career. You just need to work through it step by step, for years. Be patient. Share your work online. The rest will come in due time as you grow
@@polygonrunway thank you so much, I feel so relieved now... :) I'm gonna take your words, I don't need to mimic anyone's art or be as great as them... At first, I wanted to model random items just because I want to follow what other people made... But then, today I decided that I want to create things that I really want to create...
Let's assume I have created all my pieces and distributed them on the board. Now I realise I want to turn everything (pieces and board) so that they sit on the table with a different angle. How do I rotate all the objects without them loosing their relative positions?
BOOLEAN CUT MISBEHAVING! I don't know what I'm missing, but now I ticked Self intersection under solver options at the boolean modifier tab, and it does the cut but not perfectly, as I can see inside my object now.
I have a question: when I use bool tool, my pieces dont have the faces filled in where the bool cut is made, instead it's just empty geometry where I can see into the piece. How do I fix that?
Hey! Have you solved it? I had a similar problem, I've tried this and it worked: Click on the object you want to cut -> Clik on "Modifiers" (wrench icon) -> Expand boolean modifier -> Change Solver to "Fast" instead of "Exact" Hope that works!
I am having trouble in the boolean part, every time i do it the model doesnt subtract the cube out and the texture get a little messy, anyone know what it can be?
@@gergokaposi8115 i resolved This, i dont know why, but every time i was doing the boolean Mine face was being duplicated, Just erase the one that is not affected by de boolean tool

This video, as its name suggest is mainly about modeling techniques. I understand that shading would be important to you, but this is not what it's about. Maybe check out my other tutorials, there is plenty of shading and lighting

@@janvier99899 That worked for me as well, iguess its the update to blender 4.1
Is good vidieo❤❤❤
my tower is not filled when i do "control -" and i can see inside it, how can i fill it ?
You have to make the inside face out by pressing shift+N in edit mode,it will work.If it doesn't apply the modifiers and try it again!!
you have to select the merge option in screw modifier, it solved my problem
In the screw modifier panel enable calculate order, and self intersection in the btool modifier.
@@mrithyunjaya5839 thank you so much i was having the same problem and this fixed it!
Thank you so much
What version of blender is that?
I like 🎉🎉
hey there, why my skrew modifier revolved around 0.0.0 point and not the starting point of the line ? and how to fix this ?
it turns around the origin point of the object
The link for preferences of chess isn't available. Could somebody share working link?
you can just search for any chess pieces image online

Hi, you need a course for Russian-speaking people!
I have a great desire to learn from you!
or Russian subtitles are in the course.
First bro❤
Yeah this is just hard to understand its going to fast and you are saying things to fast and it makes it hard also blender is also confusing
you can try to slow it down in YT player settings
Please support 😢
